i was curious about the kinetic sculpture you filmed with slow shutter forming the lissajous pattern some time back. How did you capture the curve trail forming since slow shutter only records one picture of the trails after a certain time.

Spiral Kinetic Art: hanging by fishing line a single rod of aluminum is shaped into connected helixes- one clockwise the other counterclockwise. When spinning the rotational motion creates translational motion both upwards and downwards along the vertical direction. Purchased from the museum shop of the Exploratorium 20 years ago.
