Can’t believe we had a scene in 1975 with 2 women sharing a bed together, Corrie was advanced for its years. Fair play to Betty and Bet for doing this scene 👌🏻😎 the ghost of #MarthaLonghurst still haunts The Rovers Return forever
Why wasn't this episode or complete story put on DVD?, I think it was cleverly done, the prolonged camera shot of the snug, then a bit later in the episode Betty Turpin hears the voice of Martha Longhurst, some people have said Betty Turpin never knew Martha, this is true, but I think the story implies that for some reason Betty can hear her and has glimpsed her, Martha for some reason can 'communicate' with Betty, and in real life there are genuine people who see people or can hear the voices of people who have passed on., Also love the fact there is an empty glass and stout bottle on the table. I think this has been beautifully written.
A complete rip off of the short lived Buggernation Street, where transsexual Bet (Bert) Lynch is played by Julian Goodyear. It's well worth checking out chuck.
1975 is such a hard year to find and there are so many episodes I'd love to see and this is one of those rare finds!
George The Ape, go to these two channels to watch a load of classic coronation street, professionalgun66 and auntie corrie2.🙋♀️🇬🇧
I was missing this episode! Thank you.
Classic corrie. Absolute joy thanks so much for these
Hard to believe Jerry Booth (and actor) would be dead within months of this.
Rita suits peach. Not a lot do.
Hildas wig 🤣🤣🤣

What 😆😂🤣? The only scene going on is inside your own head, making it out to be something it's not.
@@franceshaypenny8481 get off the stage Frances 🤬
Corrie is totally different now. Not the same programme really.
Its not worth the electricity 😊
@@jstewart3517 I concur!
June 11th 1975 would be great to see, if possible
I’m looking for the episode where Deirdre and Ray actually decide they like each other. Never seen it. Maybe this is it?

Ken was wrong. Len was right.
Ernie Bishop, half misery, half bore...
And if he was German, he'd have sounded like Hitler!😂
Jerry scrubs up well, very sexy.
