  • Join us on this exciting journey as we take off from Rotterdam on an Aframax tanker during bad weather conditions. Experience the thrill of navigating through rough sea and see the impressive skills of our crew as they safely guide the tanker out of the port. Don't miss out on this unique perspective of a typical day in the life of a tanker crew.
Laden Aframax Tanker departed Rotterdam under not favourable weather conditions. Weather changed every 15 minites which is quite usual for this area at this time of year. Due to bad weather Pilot couldn`t disembark by boat and helicopter was used.
Great thanks to Captain Dmitriy polkovnikov for providing of the video footages

I loved my 2-inch brush so much I still have it to this day, I keep it in a glass-fronted box attached to my wall. It has had 37 handles and 68 bristle blocks.

i used to work on that type of ship. I was always out in all weathers painting with my 2-inch brush.

Hello Captain, always good to see another of your videos come up. Enjoyed locating the berth on GE and following the ship out of the harbor while reflecting on being on that same water some 55 years ago, although we were berthed in the heart of town some two km west of the Euromast. Are you able to take leave of the ship and spend a few hours ashore in ports like this..?? I see this is footage from another Captain, I hope all is well with you and yours...

Amazing, especially with the ship passing close by near the end of the video. Safe journey!!

Brings back memories of my 16 years as a Marine Engineer many many years ago. Cadet up to Second Engineer before an opportunity presented itself ashore. My family was happy but I still miss my time at sea. Rotterdam was a port I visited many times. Great video thank you.

  • @pemista

I would love to see a fuller version of this video - not just a cut version in high speed.

Thanks skipper, another great video! I especially liked the strange, beautiful music. Any idea who wrote it?
