Why Kade has been banned from qualifying ?
This coverage was extra silly, and I'm here for it. I love Ben Cathro, his whacky sense of humor, and his expert coverage of the downhill series. Pinkbike is so lucky to have Ben for all of his contributions to the team, and us viewers are lucky to get to enjoy the content he produces.

I hope Vergier takes the overall this time, even though this wasn't his best year. He lost it several times on the last race. He is the best rider who does not have an overall title yet. Fingers crossed.

Basically everyone is broken thats all you hear , spinal cord , wrist , fracture, bones , stitches.
Makes it all the more remarkable when you think that Minaar is still competitive at such a brutal sport in his forties.
Nothing surprising here when you see how much gear these riders uses. Its a shame tbh.

At 1:43 : There are only 250 points available, not 400. No points for quali or semi in last race of season.
Seems to me that racing needs to be changed somehow with the number of severe and potentially long term injuries being suffered by the riders.
I know enduro is also quite dangerous, but I think part of the problem safety wise with DH is the raw capability of the bikes and the fact that 100% of the energy is focused on going downhill, meaning speeds are as high as they'll ever be -> most potential consequence for a crash.
Dang snoeshoe claimed so many riders. The list of injuries is insane.
