grayling are my favourite species to fish for,and to watch a master tyer take time to show us these humble patterns intended to catch grayling is humbling in itself,and much appreciated.

A fishy looking wee bugger, I'm about to try 'euro nymphing' this year in Northern Ireland and think this will work well just a shame we don't have grayling. There are a few hooks Fulling Mill do barbless that I wish had a barbed option for beginners to have a bit more confidence but perhaps it doesn't matter so much with the angle of the eye on this. Great fly and tying as always, thank you Davie.

Hi John,
I'm fine thank you and I hope all is well with you too and I don't mind you asking what resin I prefer..I use Bug-Bond UV Resin as I have used it since it came out, they do a light and a regular version which will do all your flies..There's many other resins out there and I would also look around and listen to other tyers before you make your choice..
