MK1A will surely have the Uttam. The initial plan was to have the first 20 lot of MK1A to have Israeli radar and the rest Uttam. Now the Uttam has even progressed into its Mark 2 variant. So there is a great chance that the whole MK1A will have Uttam MK2. Already two prototypes of MK1A is flying with Uttam radar. Even Sukhoi upgrade is going to get Uttam 3 which is in works.
    "Abinash"
    1. Engine is F404 not F414
    2. Currently Mk1 A uses an elta elm AESA radar not Uttam radar.

It's Compound Delta Wing design is designed to perform exceptionally better at high altitude Himalaya zones. The Delta Wing gives its lower wing loading for better maneuverability and its turn radius is smaller than F16. It's payload is highest in the light combat aircraft/ LCA class due to high composite content. The inner pylon is capable of carrying 1.2 ton oil tank, which is not seen in other LCA class. The FADEC, advanced auto pilot and auto-recovery is the reason why not a single LCA have crashed so far. Brahmos NG will have over 350km range @Mach 4.5 due cuz of a new classified fuel being developed. The same fuel will power Brahmos Block IV with over 900km range at Mach 4.5

Go and look at who was there to start MARUT and who was there to stop Indian projects
Now we are well aware what to do
Yaa your point is really great that with marut we got some experience and that experience is utilised in LIGHT COMBAT AIRCRAFT
But it was just for training purposes
And after that we modified and make TEJAS MK-1 that can be used in both situation and then we modified and make it mk-1A which is ocmbat aircraft
And now we are making medium weight TEJAS MK-2 with single engine but better performance with advance technology solid-state gallium arsenide based active electronically scanned array radar (UTTAM AESA RADAR)
We have not mastered in ENGINE So for that we are taking AMERICAN GE-414 INS6
OUR FUTURE JET IS 5.5 GENERATION FIGHTER JET WHICH IS AMCA (ADVANCE MEDIUM COMBAT AIRCRAFT)
