This is why he is known as the Metal God. His range is incredible.
Agreed..... Rob Halford IS HEAVY METAL
@@thewintergardener2873😊
Rob IS awesome. And there's a vocalist who could fill in if His Grace needed to retire: Ralph Scheepers from Primal Fear.
Correction: His screaming range is incredible!
PRIEST! PRIEST! PRIEST!
If anyone hasn’t seen the Hear N Aid film the bit with Dio is priceless, these two Behemoths on playback of Robs stratospheric “we’re stars” background vox , Ronnie was amazing but not hitting those notes, nobody was until Mili Matijevic (Steelheart) and these days Yannis Papadopoulos (Beast in Black) great shite!
On the studio version, especially during the slow middle bit, he sings the lines much more, sustaining the notes with nice vibrato. When you catch live versions, the bands have been on the road for months, performing nightly, and you can hear it in Rob's voice here. He's cutting a lot of notes short to preserve his voice, probably for the high notes, for which of course, Rob is legendary.
I actually prefer the live versions of all of their earlier stuff. I've been a huge Priest fan since I was a kid but I always thought the studio albums up through Turbo sounded too clean and processed. I enjoyed the Unleashed in the East versions and the versions on the live video from the Screaming for Vengeance tour much more than the studio versions and really enjoyed seeing them live.
@@reppostthat's 💯 valid, I think many of the bootlegs of Jimi Hendrix sound way better than the studio version, it's a wonderful saturated, organic and grooving sound... yes even with the band missing a cue because they are always in fact 'following' Jimi... Hendrix would just kind of shrug it off and keep going.
It's magical. He's the king of cool to me. Nobody sounded like the Jimi Hendrix experience, or even Band of Gypsys. I think if I found more Led Zeppelin bootlegs I would enjoy those equally.
The live version from “unleashed in the East” was pure fire!
Saw Judas Priest multiple times including this performance at US Festival 83. Metal Sunday AKA the day NewWave died. They were on fire this day. It was 100 degrees plus that day and I remember saying to my friend, do you think JP is coming out all leathered up today? They did not disappoint.
Yes and on Unleashed In The East. It's Epic! Best live album of the time. Sorry Mr Frampton. I Love Frampton Comes Alive too!
Glenn Tipton and KK Downing are such a fantastic guitar duo!
Perhaps the best dual lead guitarist duo in metal along with Adrian Smith and Dave Murray of Iron Maiden. As a lead guitarist of 40 years I recognize that their are other awesome duo's but few if any that can match the precision and synchronization of the two pairings.
were
Everyone wanted their live tone back in the day, they made plexi’s price skyrocket, along with EVH & Malmsteen, plexi was the go..🤘🏻great times
It's sad Glenn can't do as much anymore because of his Parkinson's disease. Although he is part of the creative process in the new album!
I personally have a pretty long list of beloved rock guitar duos, but Tipton and KK's playing and sound have always been my absolute favorite.
There is metal vocalists then there is Rob Halford who is out there on his own. #Legend
I love Rob but I think you meant to say Dio right? hehehehehehe
@@firegoggles Who?
Lonewolf
Disturbed way better no one has better range
@@user-mn1wi7bb8y ridiculous, down with the sickness has no high notes. Bar room singer at best
That album, Sad Wings of Destiny, is so good! Rob really gets to show his abilities on that one. A favorite of my vinyl collection
Rob is just unbelievable on that album. Also one of my favourites
@@iutchubesame!
An amazing album
One of my favorites for sure; maybe their most versatile.
@@MDElam hell yeah brothah!
You should experience Dreamer, Deceiver / Deceiver off of Sad Wings of Destiny (STUDIO - NOT LIVE) and/or Here Come The Tears / Dissident Aggressor off of Sin After Sin album. You'll get all kinds of range!!! And he does all his own harmonies.
Love Dreamer/Deceiver but the Old Gray Whistle Test version is fantastic as well.
@@DrSkeff Yes, it shows really well what they could do even when forced to hold back because BBC! But I'd be happy with studio too, it's what I listen to most often after all.
Definitely the STUDIO version of Dreamer Deceiver.
Also the Ripper
Run of the Mill as well
Even at his advanced age, he's still got it. He's one of the few who can still hit the notes he was hitting in his 20's while being in his 70's.
Best voice in the history of music.
He is better than everyone else even near his age.
@@Stickleback🎸🙋♀️Agreed. He’s been my fav vocalist since 1st time I heard him. Also LOVE the JP sound!
I would include Glenn Hughes along side him.
After just seeing him at power trip, I can confirm that this statement is accurate. I think his death growl is actually better then when he was younger. Has more depth and grit.
Wow. Rob was singing like a guitar solo. He’s able to do what ever he wants. Awesome!
I've been a huge Priest fan since I was 7 years old and I'm nearly 50 now. This is one of my favorites, and it gives me chills every time.
Its magic a band like this is few at best
I was there. No bs.
I saw them twice in the early 80s I felt assaulted with sound in the best way One of my fav concerts
You got Metaled old school.
I saw the Scorpions 85 tour, it wasn't quite the fire of the band's earlier shows but it was definitely powerful. Can't believe they are still at it...
Same here, they were (and are) awesome!
My first concert ever October 1988 Ram it Down tour. Slayer opened for them it was fucking awesome!!!
Saw ‘em ‘82 (Screaming for vengeance) in an events center not a stadium, standing front “row” center leaning against the stage.
Mind blowing for a 16 year old kid!
@@j_freedhe I saw that one too! (Ratt opened)
The great one though, was ‘82 (Blackout) and Maiden opened for them (Number of the beast)
"Unleashed in the east"...THEE album that showcases Halford's voice, and showcases why he is, THE METAL GOD.
The riff in this song is so killer
One of the most fun to play as well.
IMO, Rob IS the Ultimate Heavy Metal Voice....
IMHO and i love RJD!!! but i agree!!
Yeah, he's awesome, but he's just one member of the Trinity of best vocalists along with Bruce DIckensen and Geoff Tate (who are equally talented).
@@kd4yhs if ya want to get technical, Mike Patton from Faith No More has the greatest vocal of any male vocalist in any genre. He and Mariah Carey have vocal ranges of 6 Octaves...no one has more than those 2..
JP's tones, rhythms, melodies and dynamics always give me chills. I highly recommend you check out their cover of Joan Baez's "Diamonds and Rust" and their cover of (early-Peter Green era) Fleetwood Mac's "The Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown)" from the Unleashed In the East live album. Top notch performances. Their biographical take on Jack the Ripper ("The Ripper") is fantastic as well.
The Diamonds and Rust performance on the '98 Live Meltdown album with Tim Ripper Owens is WILD
Just saw them a month ago at Power Trip. At 72 he still kills it. He moves around a lot slower but still lands the highs and the death growl perfectly. Awesome show.
If you’d like to hear another amazing vocal performance from Rob Halford, listen to the studio record of a song called Beyond The Realms of Death off the album Stained Class
Hell yeah I agree
One of their best songs for sure, personal fave of mine
Despite not being with the original band i like the live insurrection version the best. Halford did manage to perform well on tour, but imo he was at his best live when doing his solo stuff. And we also got tim ripper owens stuff which I also like so I think it was more the merrier
definitely one of my favs !
!!! Fall On Your Knees and Repent if You Please !!!
A few people showed up for this one! My favorite heavy metal singer. Two of the greatest complimentary guitarists ever!
The band was at their absolute best with this performance! I saw the entire concert and I was exhausted at the end!! Priest is the best metal band ever in my opinion!! Halford brings his all to every performance!!! 50 years later he is still exceptionally strong as a vocalist!!! Love them so much!!!
1982 Screaming foe Vengence!
Welcome to the world of Metal, Bethany. Been here for 40 years and I'm still in love with it.
Love your videos. Perfect balance between spontaneous reaction and technical comments.
Metal fan or not, this is true talent. All live, all without assistance from apps or devices. This is old school when rock ruled the world and the number of bands that could get up there and play their asses off at any moment was considerable.
At the beginning of this concert we started to make our way towards the front to see JP, we did succeed, facing the stage we were on the right side and very close, crisp and clean as always, JP was on and defiantly super tight. After JP lol we headed back to where our girlfriends were to get some space. The whole concert was epic! I was 20 at the time. `Great video btw!
I was 19...rocked it!!!
Thanks for reacting to this song. One of my favorites from Jusas Priest. I saw them in the late 80's in Honolulu. They were incredible.
Metal is never lip synced this why we love metal. It's live, raw and real. And it kicks motherfuggin ass. No studio over dubs just live and raw!!!!! I've seen them 5 times, absolutely amazing live
Thanks for the great video. My personal favorite Priest song (and the one that I think most showcases Rob's full range) is Run of the Mill which is not often reacted to but I think you'd really enjoy it; the amount of variety in Run of the Mill combined with everything from beautiful, low cleans to the highest of highs are just so good! I really think that if you listen to Run of the Mill you will be shocked (in a good way) and very, very surprised. Have a great day.
Not only does it showcase Rob's range incredibly well, it's also important to understand that Run of the Mill is a song featured on their debut album. It was the very first glimpse into what Rob, and the band as a whole, would be capable of in the decades to follow. It's such an underrated song.
Great point, so much unexpected material on that first album.@@ucheehQ
Dreamer deceiver/deceiver showcases his full range more
Run Of The Mill is an amazing tune!
I think it's tragically under-rated; such a melancholy song from a very (at that time) young group.@@SlitherWhisp
My favorite song of theirs is "Green Manaleshi with a Two Pronged Crown". Rob's vocals are spectacular 🙂
vocals very different than this song as well... she might like it. my problem with that song is its too bloody short.
fun fact: that's a fleetwood mac song
That part where he goes high and inverts the note and goes higher...oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh....oh, oh oh oh ah ahhh ahhhhh....😊...ya you know what I mean.
Hope she finds "The Ripper" from Priest🙏❗️🔥
That song is a vocal masterpiece. I thought I was the only one who remembered that .
Lucky enough to have been to seven concerts in the early 80's absolutely phenomenal
No One can scream it out like Rob.H. And Tipton & K.K. Downing were an amazing duel ax players !
Never seen anyone like this have such a technical appreciation and understanding of this genre of music and with this particular group. Rob Halford and the band, amazing energy and precision, drive, passion, and rhythm. Bethany, you're awesome. Thank you.
You should definitely do their song "Here Comes The Tears". A moody jazzy blues feel that slowly builds into a driving but, tormented heavy riff.
This song on the album "Sad Wings of Destiny" came out in 1976, that's why it kinda has a 70's sound in parts! It's one of their best albums! 🤔🇺🇸
One of the GREAT METAL songs of the era.
So fun to see Glenn and KK on stage together. And having Glenn sing along is awesome. This was the heyday of the band.
Priest was truly an unstoppable force from 1979 until the early 80’s when thrash and speed metal began.
The greatest heavy metal singer combined with 2 great guitarists. They were and still are pioneers.
I can’t imagine the surprise if Painkiller was the only song you ever heard from them. And the other way around too.
Awesome stuff. Dig the channel.
Rob has truly been one of the few singers in Heavy Metal who possesses many vocal resources, which has kept him in a position of honor. My respects to Rob Halford
I love when Halford sings higher than the guitar.
I highly recommend you react to 'The Sentinel' from the 'Defenders of the Faith' album (but please do the studio version, not live). You will hear a great story to it and lots of variety that showcases Rob's dexterity with low and high notes. One of my favorite JP songs.
Totally agree 👍👍
Damn dude , I was about to recommend the same thing . A lot of great minds in the comments lol!
He did a live version a few years ago called 'Live at the Seminole' that is arguably his best live version.
I totally agree. I think that was from around 2010 or so. So he's late 50's or just into his 60s on that and it's great.
"KK Downing" & "Glen Tipton" are the best guitar duo of all time. "Rob Halford" is the true "Metal God" There will never be another "Judas Priest"
Judas Priest is the "ACDC" of heavy metal.. This was an awesome video. Thank you for all of your lovely complements on "Rob Halford" I'm sure if he see's your video, that he will be very pleased and grateful for all of your kind words. He's actually a very kind and loving man. I really wouldn't be surprised if he actually commented on this video. Peace.. Joe
AC/DC? They are nothing, just play silly rock n roll a little bit heavy riffs and Judas Priest develope styles like thrash and speed metal and give inspiration to many more bands. The are pioneers of heavy metal.
Thats why rob helford is one of a very few metal gods! Lots can sing metal but this man teaches it!
Dreamer Deceiver is the song from the same album that showcases Rob's vocal range and dynamics the most, in my opinion. There is a live version that is not quite as good as the studio version but the studio version is a masterpiece vocally.
You should also check their version of "Diamonds and rust", originally sung by Joan Baez. On a second thought, you should definitely check Joan Baez, too, lol... especially Diamonds and rust and We shall overcome (1965 version BBC). I'm quite sure, you'll fall in love with her voice.
This is as real as it gets. Halford was coked out of his mind for a lot of these early 80 performances. The live version of this song off of Unleased in the East is outrageous. Also, his performances on the Fuel for Life tour (1986) are legendary.
Yeh he was. Poor Janey Lane.
@@bruzrcruzr2004 Who is Janey Lane?
There's a reason Rob is called the Metal God. Good call on the tie into folk music, Rob covered a Joan Baez song, Diamonds and Rust, so he must have listened to it. Rob by the way, is one of the nicest guys in the business.
Have you heard the unplugged version of Diamonds and Rust yet? He, Halford talks about how they did their original version and then they decided to do the unplugged version and for some reason it just made me tear up when I first heard it. I guess that they had came so far in their careers and since I had seen them so many times and I really admired them for everything they had done. Always so damn amazing and powerful
There's no crying in heavy metal, wuss.
"Before The Dawn", the vocals on that track, just wow
I was at this concert 🤘😝 and it was awesome !
Yyyesss! The 70's indeed!! Their first album came out in 1974, not if that was the American release or British. A great story I heard that Glenn Tipton the guitar player went to Rob's (parents) house to talk to him about joining the band and could hear him practicing his vocals to a Doris Day song. Awesome! Peace 🕊️
Probably was watching a Rock Hudson movie at the time in drag too.
Rob denied that story.
5 million people across America were tuned in to this US Festival 🤘
I was there - AND in the video right up front. it was HOT there that day. I felt so sorry for the bands that had to follow this. I saw them in the Cow Palace in San Francisco the previous year during the Screaming For Vengeance tour - he invited us to come see them at the US Festival so we DID!
I was lucky to see the festival omg the stuff I did and saw at
Thirteen
It was such a pleasure to watch the joy on your face during this track. Priest has been part of my life nearly 50 years, and I remember my first live experience with Victim of Changes. It's not hyperbole to say it changed my life. Thank you for being so open with how this track touched you. Your smile at the gong was pure sunshine, and that's how Priest has made me feel since I was a child. Beauty is beauty. I recently read Rob's second book which brought me further happiness. Thanks again, it's a pleasure to listen to folks like you breaking down the iconic works of classic metal.
I absolutely love your reaction to this. JP seems to fascinate you, esp rob halford, and i love watching you trying to hear everything and figure it all out.
Great job.
DIAMONDS AND RUST!!!
Bethany I loved your vocal analysis of this clip which is my favorite clip of Priest performing my favorite Priest song. I was with you every step of the way on every reaction and very much enjoyed your enthusiasm and surprise at Robs awesome vocal capabilities and appreciation of this great song. Big smiles. Thank you!
Hey Bethany, thanks for doing this particular song! This is a master class on Rob's vocal ability, and on how good the band is in general! I have seen them do this live, it's incredible!
victim of changes is from around 1975..robs 32 years old in this performance in 1983..already been on the road for a decade and made 8 albums at this point in his career..the studio version is really good, his voice is incredible . that whole era of judas priest rocks out..most of their best work is from 1973-1991 in my opinion.even tho their last album firepower is really good from like 2018
Love learning from your videos. It paints all of these songs I've been listening to and attempting to sing all these years, in such a profoundly new light. If you're enjoying this journey down the Metal rabbit hole, might i suggest Phil Anselmo of Pantera and the song Cemetery Gates. It's a classic Groove Metal song where the guitar and vocals trade off in a truly amazing way.
True. The way she shines her light on things is just so inspiring.
This is so cool! I was surprised and amazed that this song was even getting analyzed! I used to listen this on their 'Unleashed in the East' cassette tape on my Walkman all the time while doing my paper route haha. Rob Halford is an amazing talent and i'm glad you checked it out. I've always enjoyed them and it got me through the mundane paper route for sure...them and the Scorpions 💞 ty...there's many good songs on that 'Unleashed in the East' album. It's a gem of goodness...keep that rabbit hole going 🐰
This song was my gateway into metal music 🤘 it literally blew me away! I was hooked I couldn’t get enough… listen to the studio version too, it’s truly amazing… thank you for your channel 🤘
Epic band, stellar performance.
This Video shows Judas Priest May 29 California San Bernardino at the US Festival 1983. And many Vocal Coaches on YT generated Clicks and Money through the talent of Judas Priest. The World of today.
I was at that show but not until Scorpions and Van Halen. I snuck in after dark.
Goose-bumps. I saw Halford in 2023 and his voice is still strong and amazing. My favorite song is Blood Red Skies because of the voice range and storytelling.Your analysis gave me a whole new breadth of my appreciation of the entirety of the band. Thanks.
I just think you're fantastic. Your deep knowledge and experience of vocals and vocals training is incredible. What really is so interesting to me? Is that your critiquing these rock and metal bands, and the excitement on your face and the looks that I've been seeing have just been kind of inspirational for me. I'm a long time rock and hard rock metal drummer and a lot of the things that you have been explaining. I have been trying to explain to fellow bandmates throughout my career. Keep up the great work. And if our paths ever meet, it would be an honor to meet you.
I never realized the drummer grooved like that. Some really nice, unexpected fills too.
Dave Holland was so underrated
Yeah, he was a power drummer, with just the smallest touch of funk. Check out the band, 'Trapeze' that he was in before joining Priest. ("Touch My Life", "Black Cloud" and "Way Back To The Bone" for a few to start with.)
He really is kicking ass here.
He can for sure play these classic Priest songs way batter than Scott Travis
Not as good as Les Binks.
By FAR the best I have seen of JP..... I wish I could have been there
I almost could antecipate your reactions. This song is fantastic and Rob have a wonderful and versatile voice and an amazing singer that is impossibie not to admire. I´ve been looking about videos by Judas Priest and I reached you channel and now will subscribe. Thank you and a salute from Brazil.
Rob was just having fun with this performance.
The absolute best clip to hear Rob’s true range is a 1973 BBC clip of Dreamer Deciever, where he does a lot of “clean” singing in the beginning.
This is such a cool riff, I think even Jimi Hendrix would've liked how groovy it is.
The epitome of good 70's guitar riffs. Grinding and a little syncopated. It sounds a little like Black Sabbath, the swampy quality.
Incredible stuff! I've never heard this before and reacted to it like you in utter astonishment of vocal talent
I attended this concert in '83 and have attended many Judas Priest concerts through the years. Something completely magical about the entire repertoire to me.Would very much enjoy taking you to see an entire concert of theirs as they continue to tour and still create new music deep into their phenomenal careers
There is so much metal of that stage, it's crazy.
I love Rob Halferds high range, saw them perform back in the 80's . You need to also react to Jefferson Starship perform the song Jane. Mickey Thomas has a high range as well. I think you will love the groove too. Thanks for your reaction.
Rob Halford is amazing! This is my all time favorite song from my all time favorite band! Love Priest!!!
Judas Priest is one of the great bands from before the 80 ies who got their breakthrough in the start 80 ies with the album Brittish Steel...and the song Breaking the Law! Being very versatile with songs of Joan Baez (Diamond and Rust) to the new stuff you can say the Rob and the boys have made a realm of thier own masterpiece.
I could hit these notes when I was 16 back in the 80's and everybody loved it......hit 17 and my voice got deeper. At least I could do it for a couple years so I'll always have those memories.
.
Yes!!! So glad you went with a live version!!
The Warning just performed live twice on the MTV VMAs their songs More & Evolve and both are a masterclass in stage presence and live performing. Would be curious to see what you think of these performances.
Yes please, especially Evolve!
Great album ... but if you like Rob halford voice ... listen to Deep Purple live 1970 "Child in time" 😊
Love both!
Ian is a legend, but he is no match for Rob
Love your reactions, thank you! 🙂This is a great song for you to react to - expect the unexpected like. Much love!
Yes a favorite, studio version is amazing. I cannot get enough of your authentic excitement over the details. You are spot on and just love your reactions.
Hey Miss B
Love your reaction.
I have seen them live at the Cap Center in MD Turbo Lover tour. This was an arena probably 20k people.
I was Jar Head went with others we had a great time.
So much better acoustics at the Cap center. I'm a musician and this was an inspiration to me at such a young age. This is one of those bands you HAVE to have been there in order to truly appreciate not only Rob but KK and GT and the rest of the band. Honestly if you want to listen to the best album vocals in all Rob and the boyz have to offer it would be Unleashed in the East live.
Its always a pleasure witnessing your reaction.
Luv the variety you react too also. Would like for you to give credit to some unknowns or forgottens also ex. Randy Jackson Zebra. Talk about vocals..
Mark...
Cap center! I saw JP there in '88 for the Ram it Down tour. My 1st concert ever.
My first Priest show was Turbo Lover at Cal Expo Sacramento, CA.
Long time JP fan here! Rob's voice is a force of nature! Would love to see you react to a new young band, Liliac. The singer, Melody, is also a force of nature. In fact, Rob recorded a shout out video to her and is a big fan. A good first one of theirs would a cover of Dio's Holy Diver, but their originals are really incredible. 👌
Rob Halford is one of the best singers I have ever listened to. I would like to make a recommendation for a band most people have never heard of and has a great vocalist. The group is Savatage, the singer is Jon Oliva and the guitarist is his brother Criss Oliva who is one of the founding members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The song you should listen to is Hall Of The Mountain King.
One of my favourite tracks from my favourite band. Seen this track live numerous times and it is just a total sucker punch of talent, energy and power! Prefer other versions without the guitar solo break in the middle. I have seen and heard him sing this song in numerous forms, around 1978/79 his voice was unreal, in the 2000’s, it was deeper and more mellow with high pitches scattered throughout, just unbelievable range, even today at 71 years of age! Great review and as usual with Rob, even vocal coaches struggle to get a handle on his vocals!
Thanks for the Judas Priest, Bethany! It would be great to hear your reaction to studio version "The Sentinel" from the 1984 album "Defenders of The Faith"
Judas Priest, Iron Maiden. Dio and Queensryche some of the nest metal vocalists to check out in the genre!
Best
In my personal opinion, Geoff is on top...
Yes! Bands where the vocalist uses his / her voice as an instrument are typically my favorite to listen to. Everything is so layered and complimentary!
You really need to check out their performance at the hard rock just a few years ago. Love! The song "Steeler".
It's freaking awesome. The older Rob Halford is just as good as the young Rob Halford.🤘🔥🤘🔥
Rob and Ronnie James are the best metal singers
I would add Udo from accept
Epic song and epic performance. One of my favorite Priest tunes. Heavy!
I'm glad you reviewed this specific live version because it sounds, at least to me, better than the recorded studio version, gives me more chills definitely
Rob seems to have the most difficulty pushing out the two verses during this era, meanwhile hitting those high notes with ease
Sad Wings of Destiny is definitely JP's best album in my opinion.
Its dower depressive tone gets overlooked by people who want the more bold aggressive 80s heavy metal attitude, rather than the earlier Black Sabbath type attitude and subjects like in wings
Glad you enjoyed them so much! As a young fan, who was born after their heyday, seeing people discover and love JP makes me happy. If you wanna do more of their songs I would suggest checking out Here Come the Tears + Dissident Aggressor, Green Manilishi, Freewheel Burning, Riding on The Wind, they have so many good songs (and so few have been reviewed/analyzed by channels like yours). There's also Turbo Lover if you want something goofy with its music video. The album versions of their songs are also very good if you can't find live good live examples.
They're a really amazing band, with a lot of energy, and a big influence on so many bands that came after, though sometimes they feel overlooked these days despite their importance.
With a blend of the 80s the best year of all
I love Judas Priest..Seen them live in late 70s amazing concert. I wish you would do the Flame by Cheap Trick LOL I keep asking maybe you'll do it soon.
You must listen to the studio version of this song. The whole Sad Wings album is amazing.
Great JP Song. I like your reaction the first time through at the beginning guitars/verse, then love it the second time as you really got the groove going on! Super cute. It was a great time to be able to see these groups live and kicking butt. Triumph is awesome too, liked your good fight reaction/commentary.
One of my ALL time favorite JP songs. Thank you for feeling this the way I do!
This is why painkiller should never be a first reaction 🤘🤘
Truth be told painkiller has way more powerful rob halford expression this song is more of a rhythmical display
Having seen Judas Priest live since the Hell Bent For Leather tour all the way to including Firepower and Rob's bands Fight and Halford. He is a force of nature to see live. It makes me smile to see younger folks discover Rob.
Absolutely amazing!!! Judas Priest has ALWAYS performed this song live with great feeling and musicianship. And Rob Halford has always given 110% in and out of the studio. I'm convinced that Rob is super-human! He can push his voice to unbelievable limits!!!
