  • After a long week of building the car back up, the #SilverBullet was ready for a serious performance run at #NMRA Spring Break Shootout. With our best runs yet and amazing partners backing this build, we were able to run the car's quickest and fastest pass at 8.46 @ 162 mph with a 1.23 short time on the back tire! A huge thank you to ‪@NittoChannel‬, ‪@EdelbrockTV‬, ‪@NMRANationals‬ , and many more for a successful weekend for the Silver Bullet. It was great to see so many amazing racers out at this event. Stay tuned to the channel for more info!

I'm with Scott here! Taking OUT safety stuff to go faster is crazy... whatever the rules say!

Next thing you know you’ll have to put street tires on to run 8’s lol
Edit: we need a high resolution picture of that wheelie for download!

You last year never had a 6 point in the car running in the 9's, that was my first event so yes I screwed up. But if you had looked this year I have a 8.50 Cage, 5 point harness all the gear to go 8.50 and will do so in time. You had already run in the 8's before you got there so you had a good idea where you were going, I just don't see the point in playing around the edges when you know how fast your going or going to go. You knew good and well you were going in the 8' if you made a full pass so why play this stupid game since since you have already been there? Excuse? NMRA did the right thing sending you to get the trailer, You should set a example sir.

Needs a cage to go faster than 10.00 in competition.

I think that's just damn silly. Rules are needed, yes. But dumb rules need to be eliminated.

nmara rules sounds stupid. The faster you go with less safety the safer you are 😂

Once you are into the 7s, you have no seat and have to be naked sitting on a box.......

He should have never run it with a 6 point, he knew when he got there he was not legal. I congratulate NMRA for standing there ground. Starting a new class off right was the right thing to do. Steeda should be setting a example when they show up, not turn a employee lose with a car that was clearly not legal, Dario should know better.

@@dennishilliard1101 NHRA stated the chassis was good to 9.00 the Tuesday prior to this event. So you mean to tell me that properly installing a 5 point SFI certified racing seat belt and a 6 point Watson roll bar required us to go slower, a 10.00? My friend, we averaged a 9.010 in True Street trim which is why when you unprofessionally confronted me, a racer, in the staging lanes as I was about to make a pass, I told you I wasn't sure what the car would run. At that moment the car had only been together for roughly 27 hours! But as a fellow racer, you felt it was right to get in my head prior to a race? You sir should know better and save your comments for after the competition. BTW, saw you ran a 10.75 last year in your 2019 at Bradenton with an aftermarket seat, which was illegal at the time. Too bad no one ran to NMRA Tech over your pass Dennis. -Scott

@@dennishilliard1101 Hit a wall going 170 miles an hour with your OEM equipment (stock seats, airbags, and a seatbelt). I will hit it going 170 with certified racing safety equipment (seats, roll bar, and a racing belt) whoever can walk away can be crowned the winner!
I would love for you to demonstrate that OEM airbags and equipment is safer than certified racing equipment!
      Show don't tell!
