- Another week and more passes were made this weekend with the S650 Silver Bullet 2.0. We had a few loose ends to tie up that we simply didn't have time for like a lighter battery and new brakes as well as some old tricks to hopefully push into the 10s this week. We also saw the opportunity to change up the look and differentiate the V2 from the 2018 car, so a new wrap it is! Check out all the changes we made this week, and how they all affected the car, spoiler alert, it was not happy...

Glad I walked away from my custom ordered Dark Horse. They threw a 15k mark up at me and that was that. After what I've seen from the cars and the lack of quality control I'm thankful it happened that way.
I think the 2018 looks better from the side than the SB 2.0

Yo Scott I like to see that new ported stock plenum with the same 3.55 gear, then we will see if the the ported plenum make a difference. Like always speed matters 😎👍💪🇨🇦
Keep pushing. Hard to call it a complete Dud just yet. If you had tuning access, I’m sure the Silver Bullet would’ve sang a different tune with those 4.09 gears. The Converter and Ported intake would be the safest bet for the next additions. Thank you for always pushing to go…..Fast!

As a consumer that doesn't have endless resources, it sure makes it hard to compete with people like steeda.

I'm super happy to know it doesn't like the gear change, because that's what I was about to do.
It’s not competing it’s sportsmanship. We took this approach to help the consumers that still like to go fast with an American V8.
IS THE REAR SPOILER THE SAME AS A 2022 MACH ONE SPOILER WITH GURNEY FLAP. IT FITS THE 2024????
This is our GT500 Style spoiler for the S550s. We made it work on the 2024, but it is not designed to fit the S650.
Old and busted 4.09s don't appeal to the new hotness. Got it👍
What size rear tires

Hopefully we get access to tuning for this generation soon, I think you guys are going to be well into the 10s with a converter and the right gear set (plus the tune).
And on another note, that White California Special in the background looks really familiar for some reason....
I got 8 payments left on my current car. I'm hoping by then the tuning will be available. I'll buy the new mustang over the new M240i... maybe

Well that's a bummer. I think once these cars can be tuned my opinion will change but I feel better everyday about keeping my 2020 GT.
These 2024 Mustangs are Fords new lineup of (FNV) Fully Networked Vehicles. The CPU should be the first augmentation that should be looked at. All these parts don't mean squat if CPU won't let us drive it.

Why, others have changed the rear gear without a problem.
He literally explained in the video why it didnt work and it had nothing to do with the tune 🤦🏾♂️
Which lite weight battery did you use. Looks like it's a napa battery legend,? Also is this battery good for daily driver cars or only for drag race?

Ford regressed with the S650 sadly. Even a tuned S650 won’t outperform its predecessors
Lol how do you know that? The cars can’t be tuned yet so no one knows the car’s performance when tuned…
@@traxxxasdude15 I know just with what we’ve got so far. It’s not promising, a 12.3-12.5 w a tire in stock form compared to a stock S550 that could run high 11’s with just a tire. Whether these cars get tuned or not you’d be relatively equal to the previous model. How is that an upgrade ? It’s not.

@@thefitnesslife4988 do you know why Gen 2 ran slower times (12.8)? The gearing in the MT82 gen 2+ gen3 isn’t the same as the Gen 1 MT82 which had tighter gearing making it quicker. That’s why everyone loves the 10 speed cause Ford was pushing it heavier than the MT82.

So basically the s650 is an overweight pig with lipstick that'll take about 15k just to get it perform like an s550
How is it over weight? Was 3705lbs from the factory. Give us a cheap tune and e85 and it will walk a gen III

weighed the Base S550 verses the base S650 last week. The S650 was 10 pounds lighter!!!
