Karl Flammer Ford in Tarpon Springs FL is asking $86,645 for this car. Again, greedy dealership are continuing to ruin the market for car enthusiasts with these ridiculous markups.
Talk with your wallet: dont buy it. Its so simple. Its not a crying shame to not be able to buy one. Tell stealerships to fk off by not buying from them. Mustangs arent really an "enthusiest" car anyways lol
Colvin Ford in Oregon has a 2024 GT Premium convertible marked allll the way up to 78k from the $56,675 window sticker lol.. It’s their only model of the 24 (and it’s got shit options) which makes sense but also insanely crazy if they think someone is going to pay any markup whatsoever on a GT lol

I checked one out. It’s a comfortable mustang. My dealership is getting one in at 60k with no mark up. That’s the sweet spot for these car, in my opinion.

Great video as always! You being so open and honest about why you aren’t taking delivery of the Dark Horse is one of many reasons I love your channel. People will always define worth for an object differently! I own a 2023 Z06/Z07 3LZ as I’ve mentioned in here before. So, if people think someone is crazy for spending $70K on a naturally aspirated Mustang! Imagine what they would say on what I spent on my Z06!? But again, people can spend their money how they choose, of course opinions will always come in different forms. But at the end of the day only you can say if an amount is truly worth it! I certainly hope your Demon 170 is coming soon! 👍🇺🇸👍
$100000+ on a Corvette is not surprising this day and age. $75,000 on a N/a Mustang is insane. Hey some people have all the money in the world but will never have grease of busted knuckles from doing their own wrenching. So buying a expensive A$$ car is nothing because they will never turn a wrench and have endless funds. I would of been a corvette guy but I chose a family and put them first. So it made me a middle aged Mustang Fanboy.

I got the same spec, except mine is Race Red, and I love it. I went from a 94 GT convertible to the Dark Horse, so it's a huge jump for me. I'm very happy with it so far.

Great video brother! My favorite part was that sound. Mustangs have always had the best sound out there, and this takes the cake for being the best stock sound I've ever heard. BTW, your phone picked up the sound beautifully! I'm sorry you weren't able to take delivery of that beast, but I completely understand why you passed on it! Take care, my friend.

I’m #1 on my local dealership supposedly to be contacted if a ZR1 Allocation is received, but probably doubtful that will occur, just perhaps too small of a dealership to get an allocation unless GM decides to issue an allocation to each Chevrolet Dealership.
But hey, I was the first to inquire, so maybe I’ll get lucky???

The only other thing I’d do to the rear is black out the trunk panel area between the taillights, and possibly smoke the taillights or get the euro clear/white looking ones. BADASS !!!!

THE VET IS 5.5 NA WITH 670HP. THATS IMPRESSIVE. YOU MADE THE RIGHT CALL. THAT WOULD BE A LOT OF FUN IN A MANUAL.
I didn’t really like the black plastic underneath the headlights on some colors, but this color it works actually! It’s beautiful car though! And the sound is amazing! You think they’d give me a a deal with zero down and payments of $250 a month…lol😂

Check your paint over really really good. Been hearing of a lot of paint issues on them. Especially on the seem around the fenders. Paint coming off of cars with 100 miles on them.

RaxerX I am a big Mustang fan and the Dark Horse looks great to me! Strangely enough considering that I am a Mustang fan I am looking at getting a new Hemi Charger instead of a Dark Horse. The only problem with the Charger I am after they have a 35K markup on it. It's a hard to find spec perhaps but I may just stick with the Mustang in the end because I have always been happy with them and a 35K markup isn't something I will do!
Yea I don't do markup. Call my guys down there at Courtesy Dodge in Tampa.. they won't gouge you
I own a 2020 Chrysler 300C Hemi. It set in my dealers service lot for over 30 days due to a computer and infotainment system failure. My other vehicle is a purchased new 2017 Edge Sport. Great vehicle with zero issues. I tried Chrysler over the charger RT because of the luxury interior and unique exterior design. I was looking to purchase a Ford SHO or a Fusion Sport, but Ford stop building sedans in the US. I made a hugh mistake. I'll never purchase another Stellantis vehicle. After test driving a Dark Horse and Mustang GT. One of those Mustangs will be my next vehicle. In my area no markups on the S650 Mustang. The Dark Horse Mustangs are limited production and hard to find. Whipple announced they have a supercharger available for the new Gen 4 Coyote that should bump horsepower to 800. Steeda added Kooks long tube headers and picked up 40 horsepower. They ran 11.2 at 125 mph with the headers and 93 octane pump gas in their Dark Horse. I'm currently shopping interest rates because that really effects the overall cost of your vehicle. By the way. The Dark Horse i test drove was $63,000. The GT automatic was $45,000. It sounds like that Dark Horse has ever option or the dealership is marking it up. I'll purchase my vehicle in Virginia or Maryland. Personally. Buy the Mustang.
@@DWH300 I am pretty sure that's what I will do. You are not the first person that I have heard say they have had a problem with the Chrysler/Dodge brand. That is unfortunate because they are cool. But it is miserable for you to deal with. I own an 07 Parnelli Jones Mustang and even after all these years I am still really happy with it. It only has 12K easy miles on it. I live in the NW not so far from Seattle but on the east side of Washington State and the only King Daytona is marked up 35K and it has been on the lot for 140 days or so. So people aren't exactly racing to the lot to make a deal. I like the car but not that much and I have had several Mustangs over recent years and they have all been good. Including the one I survived a really bad wreck in. It was completely totalled but I walked away without a scratch. I was pretty happy about that!

@amiller2121 on order, no statis yet. Had to put a grand down to place it. Finance rate is just ridiculous as well. Main reason is I need to lower my expenses and reduce risks like overpaying even at msrp..thats not a deal. Watch what happens in this volital car market. Won't be for another 6 months before this may level out

I got to ride/drive in a good friend who picked his up he traded in his 12 Corvette. Crazy after trading in a low mileage Manual corvette. He still owes $53000. 7 year payments of $725 a month. The 10 speed auto is amazing. I swapped in kn filters and pulled charcoal filters for him. It does have one of the best exhausts ever. with that said its WAAAAYYYY overpriced for what it is. Its barley faster then my 12 Mustang. When your father owns a Car lot its possible to find one. Never thought i see the day a Mustang without a supercharger would cost +$70000.

it does sound and look great. i would only get a dark horse if i was to buy a new mustang. but imo 70k plus is too much. especially with no discounts and markups. i know i saw that extra sticker on that windshield. but it is an attractive car.

It's definitely a street car. Sure, you can drive it on a track, but it weighs almost 4000-lbs, and has all the niceties of a production street car, air bags and three-point belts, comfortable seats, stereo with a sub woofer, full interior with sound deadening materials, etc., etc., etc.

I prefer both, cuz if you want raw power with comfortable and a car to cruise and make you smile by its torque, Go for challenger. if you want a car with track ability, more luxurious interior, a car that makes you smile with it's controls and raging sound with power... go for 5.0

Really nice vehicle...i know they have been having problems with fit and finish...also paint missing and bubbles on the corner of the fenders where the bumpers meet the fenders...also trim not fully clipped in around the front bumper and grill

I love the Dark Horse, but I love being debt free even more. I'm keeping my 2018 Manual GT named Black Beauty until she drops or I do. She's slightly modded and makes over 500 hp which is plenty since I don't track her.

@@jr567 AFE Intake. Bullitt Throttle body. Custom Tune. I could do more but it's expensive and I don't track my daily driver. I have access to a Ferrari 488 for track days. 😄

I don't blame you. I canceled my order, too. It's just not good enough to be a gen 7.. maybe an updated 6gen.. but it's not 70k good at all. It just looks to dated inside. From what other youtubers have been showing, the 6th gen Camaro ss 1LE crashes it on the track. That's embarrassing

@mattconn33 ummmm. I did watch his full video.. That doesn't change the fact that we both canceled our orders. At the end of the day, we both found something far better to spend our money on.
If he felt it was truly worth it, he would have kept it. It's just not good enough to justify its price. There are too many cars better for the same money or a bit less to justify it.

I agree that the Dark Horse has a cool factor and no one should really knock it for the price if they haven't driven it, but I think the main compalint is that you can a better "cool factor" for the money by getting a Mach 1 or GT 350 for around the same price. The Dark Horse seems like a perfect mod car to put your own forced air system in, but by the time you do that, you're at GT500 prices. Clearly, Ford knows that, and they priced it this way to upsell the GT 500's. This is really a $55k car at best, and I think it would be better to wait for the next Shelby/Cobra/Terminator or whatever legend they bring back. Ford should have kept the Mustang cheap and brought out a new Gran Torino and Thunderbird for their final V8/productions.

The "carbon fiber" panel behind the screen at 4:16 is really off. Should have this fixed before taking delivery
I get the automatic in the gt because that tans kinda sucks but to opt out the tremic in the darkhorse was not a good mood.
I'm not a fan of Ford but much respect for the new design.
