    11:57 when the Azureus get in the tree for bedtime 😭😍 so friggin precious! I like Lazuli (as in lapis lazuli) as a name for one of them. Color wise it would suit the female more but it strikes me as a more masculine name. Truth be told it’s the name of one of my budgies :) that my fiancé came up with.

    I own a full grown Androctonus Australis. Probably the biggest I've ever seen. It's the size of a medium sized emperor scorpion. Its is a wonderful scorpion to watch eat. Such a beautiful deadly species. I would love to own the black ones like you got. But your absolutely right. They must be worked with, with great caution and respect. These guys can straight up kill you. Never ever handle them. And always use long tweezers while working with them. In fact I have a special room just for my hot scorpions that I have in my heated barn. I always keep them under lock and key. I am a father with small children. So I dont keep them inside the house. But they are spoiled because they have their own room and heater. Lol. I do let my 5 year old daughter come with me when I feed them. So she can learn to respect them. But she is only in there when I'm with her. And has learned to listen to the rules of being in that room.

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a gargoyle gecko for 200 I want one. But I'm gonna get an adult crestie in a month or so when it gets warmer for Minnesota. Long live the tundra lol but clean good tasting water and air. I'm form California enough said I don't regret being here I prefer being here anyways.

    CORRECTION: any animal should be treated with respect. Not just poisonous or venomous.

    • @Reptiliatus
      @Reptiliatus  Před 4 lety +1

      guardians animal rescue/ state certified 501c3 I don’t disagree/I couldn’t agree with you more. To be cleared however, my point is specific to the dangers surrounding venomous animals, which the video was about at that point. It doesn’t make the potential dangers and requirement for responsible ownership any less real, just wasn’t the focus of my discussion ☺️👍🏼.

      @guardiansanimalrescuestate7289 Před 4 lety

      Reptiliatus oh gotcha. I’m sorry I misunderstood u. I’ve feared snakes and reptiles for my whole life and then the last year I’ve done my research and studied them a lot. And I’m ready for my first snake. Fell in love with the western hog nose snake. I’ve even gotten an aquarium and hides, plants and branches and rocks. Not sure what kind of bedding since they like to borough and tunnel. But I’m looking for one that’s reasonable since I’m disabled. I know my medical service dog will him too. I hope I find one soon.

    Scorpion imports are never captive born. Ever bro.

    • @Reptiliatus
      @Reptiliatus  Před 4 lety +1

      Ty Gorinski Not true. While
      most animals are wild caught, there are keepers who breed their animals. These came from a specific Swiss breeder through Tarantula Canada. I already have animals from him. It’s possible that these individuals could be wc but the source primarily offers and deals with cb. Thanks for watching!

    • @Tygor3533
      @Tygor3533 Před 4 lety

      Reptiliatus yea I have hundreds of inverts and have been breeding scorpions and tarantula for a long time. They’re most likely WC but there’s a small chance they’re captive born. Either way they’re awesome specimens and great species to keep. I don’t intend any disrespect I would just be very wary of sellers claiming any imports are captive bred. Not always the case with tarantulas but usually is with scorpions.

    • @Reptiliatus
      @Reptiliatus  Před 4 lety +1

      Ty Gorinski thanks so much! I appreciate you sharing! I know there’s tons coming out of Togo, Malysia, Indo, Tanzania, Egypt, etc right now but I’m crossing my fingers these are actually cb. Well see 🤷🏻‍♂️. Warm regards
