very Tron-esq... love it! Just got my third unit today! so far I got the sample, the keys and the bass. I also bought a "Maker Hart" loop mixer. which is a 5 channel mixer, about the same size of the volca units! these little babies are pretty powerful! cheers!
Instead of having to save your octave switches on separate tracks you can just just record them to the VCO's and mute them accordingly if you wanted to save memory bank space. Basically same effect but you have the VCO's on single voices rather than them being on one. But I reckon you are switching between 4 and not 3. Dig this a lot. That snare is nasty.
Michael Stem the oscillators are playing simultaneously on different notes here, if he played it all on a single oscillator it wouldn't sound as fat :)
No song mode, later volcas have pattern chain but the original three have no chaining. Volca nubass does, but sounds different in a way you may or may not like
Would you consider doing a walk-through type video on how you did the volca bass part of this? I'm curious how you set up the various memory slots so they match up so well.
nice work but damn that volca bass is alot of work to perform live on... like zero automation features except that 16 step sequenser. A 64 step sequenser and automation on cutoff/LFO would have made wonders to it!

That's true - I'm just trying to be a conservationist with the memory banks :). Feed her some chorus to fatten her up!
props on the lead part. I tend to mess up on the tiny keyboard.
Great use of memory banks :)
Storm Trooper Lego? Subscribed
siiiick, let the bodies hit the floooor!
you sir, just sold me a Volca Bass (already have the Volca Sample)
Mister Motel I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Cheers
Sounds great! I see you are switching the memory to play the bass note, is Volca bass support song mode, where you can arrange then into 4 bar loops?
No song mode, later volcas have pattern chain but the original three have no chaining. Volca nubass does, but sounds different in a way you may or may not like
Beautiful!
Love it, keep making awesome music!
Fuck, this is the BEST OF THE BEST! I Love this so mutch......

4:08 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice.
nice!!!!
Love this! Is that the Trooper alarm clock?
Hrafn Nordhri thank you and yes it is! :)
Would you consider doing a walk-through type video on how you did the volca bass part of this? I'm curious how you set up the various memory slots so they match up so well.
Hrafn Nordhri I simply just copy & paste each slot and changed one note each slot and then saved it. I will consider doing a tutorial in the future!
New Saga how do I copy and paste on my volca bass?
Hrafn Nordhri hold the FUNC button then click Write then click on one of the patterns you want to overwrite
🔥🔥

You can take a sequencer and adjust the midi channel on the volca to play a 4 bar sequence
My Master ;)
can you share the effect chain on the bass? thx!
Cómo cambia de nota?
how you transpose the melody?
The only way to do transposed into volca bass is using memory resources.. isn’t??.. does exist another ??
Can't tell if that's a really big Lego stormtrooper or if your hands and the volcas are reeaaaaaallllllyyyyyy tiny
