How to make a Traditional Cypriot FOUKOU BBQ SET

- A friend of mine gave me some rusty parts from an old traditional Cypriot BBQ which is called "Foukou" by the locals...
So I decided to bring it back to life!!!

Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ για τα καλά σου λόγια! Εγώ έφτιαξα ξανά από την αρχή το σώμα της ψησταριάς. Ο μηχανισμός για τα σουβλάκια είχε αγοραστεί μαζί με την αρχική ψησταριά... Δεν τον έφτιαξα εγώ. 😊

Things cost so much any more, Even to restore them. That i just gave up. Cost me a small fortune to do any thing! Like paint, grinding, and cutting wheels, the cost of electric, and so on. Plus if i get hurt. Who can afford the hospital bills? Not me! I smash my little finger, in a metal door and broke it > IT COST 6800 dollars for 3 x rays, band aid, and 5 stiches and 1 metal split GRRRR 🤬😲 KNOW WHAT I TOLD THE DOCTORS? Next time i'll just cut it OFF!
The cost of hospital bills in the US is unbelievable...
For the same injury in Greece I would have paid zero. A couple of years ago I badly cut my finger, I went to the emergency room, anesthesia, stitches, bandages, etc, etc, I only had to pay around 10€ for the Tetanus vaccine because they were in short supply and I had to go and get the shot at a pharmacy.
@@RustisGold Even with insurance, still no one can afford a hospital bill! Its crazy now! The extreme cost for my finger should been no more than 300 bucks Our government needs to do some about these hospital. There out of control ! and double dip on Medicare 4 to 5x ! Cheers buddy
@@426superbee4 I know... I have a lot of relatives living in the US and they tell me about it... For medicines that here cost 5-10$ you guys have to spend 80-100$! It's crazy... The percentage of overcharging by the insurance companies is sick...

@@RustisGold I want to ask something. Is it possible to roast a lamb around 10 kg weight with one of 3 the big skewers? I am talking about a foukou that measures 100cmX40cm and maybe with an appropriate electrical engine.
