Using the placard who’s owner passed away is extra nasty.

Cars with illegal handicap placards should be towed, no questions asked!

The other day my wife parked in handicapped (she has handicap plates). When we came back from shopping someone was parked next to us in the hash marks, she refused to move as "we didn't know what she was going through". We couldn't get into the truck on that side and had to wait for her boyfriend/husband to finish shopping and get back before she moved. We tried calling the police but they were extremely busy.

In part, this issue is because most city agencies do not do their job enforcing the laws protecting the disabled, no priority is assigned to correct or enforce the law. Large fines, towing, these actions can make money to pay for enforcement. If tickets were made payable when people get their car sticker, people would have no choice but to pay or no sticker, and another ticket and fine. It can be a real legitimate moneymaker for a city and protect the innocent ones..

All states should tow any car parked in a handicap space without a placard or using an illegal placard!

Thank you for doing this people abuse these placards. There's nothing wrong with these people and they take all the handicapped parking that others truly need. They go out their car running with no infirmities!! Scammers!!!!!🤔🤔😣😣

CT tried 'lifetime' permits. 2 years later, they found that there were more permits than disabled people in CT, so they expired and went back to dated permits.

Try a new citizen volunteer program, this will earn much
    more than increasing the fine
Should be a program to have volunteers taking a class to be
able to give out parking tickets anywhere they see illegal parking. Most police
do not seem to make much of an effort to make time to check it!
I see many illegal handicap parking in supermarket stores,
    malls, downtown street parking.

If you have the placard legally, park in a marked handicap spot, but the handicap person stays in the car while the nonhandicap driver goes into the store; it that a legal parking job?

    • @gmchingon
      @gmchingon Před 3 lety +1

That is not allowed. The person who the placard is assigned to must be getting out of the car or about to get picked up.

One way they state, "I do not care." towards society and those that are disabled. For if they really did think about it and cared, they would not use them especially when it rains. As or myself I actually find it faster for me to find an fringe parking spot, than to drive around waiting for a closer one to open up here in the State of Washington. Personally I think they should triple the current fines and points against their driving privileges. Because then those who assist and/or are requires those designated parking spots will have them open for use. Unfortunately we would cease to be able to watch Stanley's content anymore. ;) lol

Hello again Stanley! I have an idea you can pass along to the powers that be. Make all moving/parking violation fines based on the value of the drivers car, or owner of a car who has some fool using it, that violates any laws. That way the single mother that’s struggling to work and feed her children, don’t get the same fine worth a month’s wage, with a wealthy person, that gets the same fine that amounts to pocket change for them!

Just a heads up. If they are a volunteer issuing these tickets you can get it dismissed. Law requires that tickets be issued by an official officer of the law.
