I am very excited to share this preview of my last live in person workshop on Posing, Off Camera Lighting & Composition. I had 6 students, 2 beautiful models, and my production team with us all day for this 7-hour learning extravaganza. The truth is, SO MUCH more was covered then what I could even list. Being there, in person makes all the difference in the world because you absorb so much more then what the lesson outline actually is. This is the advantage of attending a workshop in person, as you will always learn more than what is promised. In this case, you also get to hear and see all of this in the video and offers a similar experience. Things such as a women's "good side", how the lighting effects the pose, the "process" to a great shot, how camera settings will affect your lighting, and what it means to use flash efficiently. I also do a setup with natural light, identify some great quality of light in the field and talk about "light fall off". Also, tricks on how to use a wide lens for a flattering result and so much more..
I received many, many emails and private messages about people not being able to make the workshop, so what I did was I brought my production team along, and they filmed the entire thing! I then spent the last 100 hours (that’s no joke) going through all the footage, and have made a nice, clean 90-min recap of the entire day that is focused on all the important parts.

Hey Travis! Right on! Yes, that was the comment I got too from them. One of the students attended a Jason Liner Workshop and one of the things that I know some people have said is that when the class size gets too big, it gets frustrating. I am looking at travel locations for this year and next for more in person stuff. I wonder how many others you might know that would also be interested? Def. check out the full video of this, worth while for sure.. just be sure you have 90min of quite time to focus on it :-)

Really awsome to see you branching out, I hope you're able to travel and teach this year! I think you could sell out in Iowa! Especially around cedar rapids, lot's of photographers up there!
