omg man I really think you're going in the right direction with this thoughts. I liked so many things about it, but what stood out for me were the perception of karakuri island being hot back in the day and the last part about the snow and memories. That gave me chills. I think there are a looot of good stuff here, I was watching it at first thinking it would be too long of a theory but damn, what a ride, you always have such good ideas, even the ones I dont think are accurate, just to bring it up is enough to start making so many great connections!

Answer is pretty simple to the Arabasta one. It was green, it's based off Egypt and Egypt (as well as other desert looking parts of Africa) were green lush lands in the distant past.

Halfway through the video so I don't know if you mentioned this but the Aztecs sacrifice humans to keep the Sun going. The automata are clearly based off of mezzoamerican inscriptions of sacrifice. So the automata clearly related thematically to the presence of the Sun making your white out theory even more coherent.
My original line of thinking was because the automata are having life given to them on the altar that they are somehow doing my opposite of keeping the Sun functioning, making them a great cleansing mechanism.
I always found One Piece's background lore extremely fascinating. In the real world / real life, the most interesting topic (in my opinion) that the current establishments (the "official story" guys, if you want) often sanitize the version they give to the public, even ignoring the fact that the megalithic structures across the surface of our planet that appear to have been built by some kind of precursor civilization (like that one in those stories told to us by Plato, who heard from his master Solon in Egypt - which was ancient when HE was being told of it by ancient Egyptian ...(priests? scholars? I can't think of the proper word to call them at 7am on Wednesday morning, haha)... you know the one, that supposedly was a a technologically advanced seafaring civilization "beyond the pillars of Hercules" that was wiped out by a flood, or sunk into the sea, etc - Atlantis, who our academics today INSIST Plato was just making up.
They always go out of their way to pretend it isn't strange that supposedly primitive people by our standards built enormous megalithic structures, with blocks upwards of 1200-1500 tons (Baalbek Lebanon, "The Stone of the Pregnant Woman" if memory serves - look up a picture. It's hard to comprehend without an actual size comparison photo. Israel, and tons of other places on our planet have stuff like that - even entire mountains carved into "temples" (India) - there are ancient megalithic structures we could only MAYBE move a piece of with our largest stationary cranes - and conventional history here in modern times go out of their way to pretend it ISN'T strange that people all over the planet were building enormous things with precision and even surfaces that appear to be machined, thousands of years ago, when we still don't build out of those materials today because they're far too heavy and difficult and costly to cut etc - they actually say these guys used copper and bronze tools at most, and moved everything by hand or with logs. The weights we're talking about are weights per square inch that logs would not be able to support, and the same can be said for all the other methods of moving that have been theorized, in the largest cases.
There are similar mythologies in our ancient past, and modern conventions always refer to them as nonsense, despite it being pretty much impossible for the same stories to be told all over by different cultures, albeit with different names, in times when there was supposedly no communication across oceans etc (which we're constantly finding out wasn't true, ever, via archaeology) - I've thought this since just a couple hundred episodes into OP, but the story definitely appears to mirror our world in a lot of ways - hell, we even have stories from Ancient India, of ancient weapons that created "pillars of fire" and wiped out cities, which were used in wars between opposing civilizations in a time we only have those tales left over from. There are so many things about our ancient past here in the real world that I continue to see used in the OP story, and honestly, as archaeology discovers more it always makes me harken back to the OP plot.
Is One Piece based on our ancient history irl? or is our ancient history based on OP? It's about long enough of a story... just saying ;)

tontattas i believe had underground. but it could also be synonymous to a memory wipe too. at the end i was playing at the idea of memories and snow. it might be interesting to see how an ice age would play in the one piece world because i feel like theres a few double meanings oda would use.
alsoo the oni part is important because it could be that putting people under that stress created the onis, and that also doesnt make full sense just yet without my oni video. thats next tho

"Lineage" is another word for history. The devil fruits contain history. Example: the history of fire. The ancient kingdom preserved history just like the people of OHara. Instead of books, they used fruits to record the history or "lineage" of the One Piece world

Mr Parvision, have you looked into the Aztec Legend of the 5 Suns? Oda seems to haved borrowed a lot from Mezoamerican cultures to outline the end game and the overall story of the world of One Piece. Let's not forget they are called the people of the sun and is the part of the world were rubber came from.
To quote the wiki:
Nahui-Ocelotl (Jaguar Sun) - Inhabitants were giants who were devoured by jaguars. The world was destroyed.
Nahui-Ehécatl (Wind Sun) - Inhabitants were transformed into monkeys. This world was destroyed by hurricanes.
Nahui-Quiahuitl (Rain Sun) - Inhabitants were destroyed by rain of fire. Only birds survived (or inhabitants survived by becoming birds).
Nahui-Atl (Water Sun) - This world was flooded turning the inhabitants into fish. A couple escaped but were transformed into dogs.
Nahui-Ollin (Earthquake Sun) - We are the inhabitants of this world. Should the gods be displeased, this world will be destroyed by earthquakes (or one large earthquake) and the Tzitzimimeh will annihilate all its inhabitants.
Waiting for the answer on why Alabasta was an exception to the 20 kings and what only it has in comparison to the others, and why would it stay behind on the "underworld"
ill prioritize that video as to what they might have had, the reason to why they would be an exception is still nebulous in my mind. but that is an important question that i wanted to present because of the understanding that there had to be some kind of trade off for leaving in the first place. So if im saying they have a cloud sky, then could there be something on arabasta that counters that.
I think the other part is that while i think there was an ice age, there might still be more context to the void century in regards to all the hells that might have been present.

This cloud cover idea is very interesting. It reminds me of something called a "Vapor Canopy". It has been theorised that the ice age was preceded by a period of time where ocean levels were much lower due to the water being suspended in the air as Vapor. In this environment the sun cannot penetrate thru the vapor clouds. It may or may not occur every few centuries, a cyclical event denied by history....

I think in order for the katakuri island to go icy is either nuclear winter, continental plates shifting north/south or negative feedback loop and lack of large volcanic eruptions to release more GHGs.

when it comes to void century i instantly thought about the previous owner of blackbeard’s devil fruit which is has void and darkness characteristics so i believe that nika and the previous darkness fruit owner fought and nika lost so it was the dubbed the void century

10:31 I think the next great cleansing will be a flood. Enel was electricity and I think Imu is a parallel to Enel except with the power over water. Some youtuber put out a theory that Imu shot Jaya up with the knock up stream after the city was found by Noland and reported to the king. They mentioned how between Noland's second expedition there was a reverie (where the king probably got approval) and that is when Imu found out and shot the island up. On a similar note I feel like Aqua Lagoona is really weird, rereading the chapters with the tsunami it totally feels like the ocean is 'attacking' the city.

one, did really no one notice that one of the automata looks exactly like the robot that invaded the grand line (revealed in the latest chapter in vegapunk)
Two, people say that the people from the cold islands never sleep(?) well maybe if there was an ice Age, people really didn't sleep because to sleep you have to wait for the sun to set, but there was no sun in the first place (?) idk just a thought
Also it was revealed that the ancient kingdom was super super advanced, so maybe they figured out how to have sun in their land? Maybe that's why the the rest of the world waged war against them? Because they wanted the sun? But some how in that war something happened and as a last resort the ancient kingdom dispersed the clouds?
Maybe the ancient kingdom was the one controling the clouds? And maybe that's why the twenty kingdoms revolted in the first place?
In Phineas and Ferb cartoon, one day, Dr doofanshmirtz tried to create a weather machine, and would pay fees for the countries that wanted sunny days
Maybe the ancient kingdom was forcing people to pay for the sun like the world government nowadays forces the people to pay for protection from the pirates..

Oda is entering a social commentary on nuclear vs coal. Nuclear for ancient kingdom but failed and created post-apocalyptic mutations and coal for the 20 kingdoms that destroyed the atmosphere and turned the world ice cold
Another thing that supports the cloud theory is mermaid island. Mermaid island is lit up by a tree so massive it’s said to extend above the sky. A tree like that would be extremely important in a world shrouded by clouds. That’d make trees an extremely important thing to have for the void century. So uh, green bull?? Not just that but volcanos are known for splitting and shrouding the sky in night, aikido represents winter but a pose that could easily penetrate the clouds would be the gravity fruit.
You mentioned that Vegapunk might have recreated 2 of the ancient weapons. If we look further he might have shown us what the 3rd could look like. I'm talking about the artificial sun/unlimited power invention. Maybe that's how wano was able to stay safe from that ice age.
To elaborate: pluton is in wano. Pluton is a battleship that can 1 shot an island. Where does it get it's energy from to have such power? Franky asked iceburg if it's even possible to build sth like this. You know what's also hard to build? A fucking Perpetuum mobile, infinite power, infinite energy, infinite heat in case of random ice age

I've been having a theory for a while that marineford was oda telling us what happened during the void century. I think oars or a relative was potentially joyboy or someone important to the void century. And his missing arm was probably related to him dying in a very similar position to oars Jr in marineford. I could go on for a while on this idea but I wanted to bring up the idea

It is an Antenna the ones you see everywhere on Zou (in the shape of trees) and also on Water 7 on every building and inside the water spout in the middle. You also see it on most Den Den snails. Do you have any theories about the Antenna? they are everywhere
The one peice is the actual romance dawn manga as a major 4th wall break. That's why Roger laughed because he read luffys' story
