I mentioned I would comment some life updates: sorry for the 4 month hiatus, I had a bunch of videos piled up and just got stressed. I found out my cancer spread to my lungs 😅 (ill be okay, I already predicted as such and had plans in place) but didn't make it any easier of a pill to swallow. It was hard for me to be happily recording these while this was on my mind and i had to do some medical research and just wanted to spend as much time as I could with my son. In any case, I'll be returning with a vengeance. And it was hard for me to write a script, but I overcame alot of my fears with this warm up video
Much love par ❤️
Stay strong bro! Wish you great things - thanks for continuing to share your passion with us even through your journey!
I didn't even know this was the case until now. Idk if it's because I just got to experience the chapter with you but this really did make my chest hurt to hear. I'm glad you're back to making videos and I hope you and your family well. Thank you for letting us know and for continuing to still give us treats like this video was to watch.
I hope you're feeling better and kicking cancers ass! This was a fantastic video Par absolutely loved the Nami parallel threads!
You're one of my favorite creators in my entire decade on this platform! Thanks for the amazing theory and much love Par hope you get good news soon👍
I always thought that would be hilarious if Rodger left instructions to laughtale written on a note he put inside the straw hat but luffy never looked for it 😂
Lmfaooooo yeah honestly I would have laughed if that was like a 1000 chapter into the story reveal. But nami Def would have analyzed it the few times she fixed it
@@Parvision- yeah I totally forgot she handled it, or when luffy stashed and pulled out aces vivre card. Still would’ve been an awesome plot twist. Whole crews like “luffy you had the way this whole ****** time!!!?”
That would be lol but he has looked in the hat before for ace’s vivre card, and Nami has sewed it before so she has looked in it too. Can’t imagine here’s many compartments to hide it in there lol
Lmao, if nami wasn't given the hat to hold onto at arlong park, i'd buy that.
Maybe the giant hat that's at Marijoa has details hidden in it, in the same language that the ponyglpyhs are in, or another message of some type.
What if it was on the Red ribbon
What is this thumbnail💀💀
It's pretty much just hentai 😂
Hey hey woah hey, it's from the manga!
@@Parvision- proof?
Treasure lol
@MidTeirHuman there's like 3 bathtub scenes haha go found them. Oda left all his treasure in 1 piece. Haha
I always assumed when Roger said "My treasure" he was being sarcastic. I mean he laughed right before saying it.
It makes sense to me that Roger never considered it his treasure but called it so at his execution to ignite the Great Pirate Era.
Exactly!!!
Yes, but I’m my head from how we know to be a parallel to Luffy I don’t think he can be sarcastic willingly if you know what I mean. If not then what I’m getting to is I think Roger’s Considered the “One Piece” to not only his treasure but the worlds treasure and also like Luffy and Zoro and Sanji would tell you Treasure can’t belong to a dead man (Zoro example being how Riuma to Zoro he now own this Treasured sword of Wano.) (Luffy taking Roger’s Hat, Sanji walking on the leg the Zeff lost “figuratively”) So Roger maybe laughing because any pirate would at this point he has no treasure not even his life. But his will to inspire still remains and that’s what that guy who shouted reminded Roger before he died. I THINK ALL THEORIES.
Man I love one piece. It’s one of the few series where we can have people like like Par going on these crazy 50 minute long theory videos and be like “it is entirely possible this is all 100% true or that none of it is true, and we will not know which until the story is over” lmao. One piece is so unpredictable
There is a translation where Roger says “ I left everything in one place” which is close but yea he never says ONE PIECE and is usually “I left everything in that place”
A damn near perfect analysis of one of my favorite mysteries of One Piece. The amount of lightbulb moments that I had watching this probably won't be replicated again through another theory video. I've never bothered to dissect the exact words spoken in relation to the bigger subjects/unknowns and I think that's something we should all do as theorists and even just casual readers. I think we tend to get caught up in our own interpretations of things instead of taking them for exactly what they say. You've inspired me to revisit some of my old theories and refine them!
Happy Holidays!
I like the idea that the people of Oykot were geniuses at the weather/ traversing the world. Dawn & Dusk made a video a while back stating that "Oykot" is an expression used in Japan to describe something opposite of Tokyo. (Oykot is literally Tokyo backwards) Given that Tokyo is known for its bustling city life, Okyot is more humble, naturistic. In One Piece the Okyot people being so in tune with nature that navigation and understanding weather patterns innately makes so much sense to me.
The tequila wolf bridge still remains a mystery. Maybe the map reveals its origin and destination. What was so important that require such a massive bridge?
AYYY THIS RIGHT HERE I LOVE IT
Tequila wolf is probably built to traverse the world when it floods from usage of the mother flame
I think the parts about Nami are particularly close to being correct. She has way too much innate skill to expect no crazy explanations waiting down the line. She's also constantly compared to goddesses and royalty by other characters, and sometimes corresponded to the moon by imagery, all that can likely be Oda teasing us at this point. I know a lot of the community hates the idea of Nami having an important bloodline or birthright but even her origin points us to something important about who/where she's from: a war NOBODY in the series has talked about left her entire, yet-to-be-named town destroyed? It feels like too many red flags there for it to be completely random. We're also constantly reminded that Nami is one of the most important and significant Straw Hats, and I think it's not farfetched to say she's one of Oda's 3 favorites. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a highlighting arc the way Sanji did with Whole Cake
OMG I have been saying this for years!
So the W.G found out she was Rodgers daughter so they buster called the island in a similar brutal fasion with what they did to ace.
This a 50/50 podcast level thumbnail 🔥
LOL
This is a great theory. Love the nami stuff especially. There’s no way her backstory doesn’t get explained and this fits perfectly. Every strawhat carries on someone’s will, except for nami. Not likely that she’ll be the odd man out on that, which means it’s just a matter of time before her predecessor gets revealed. Going to be interesting to see how this reveal gets relevantly tied into the current story though🤔
Nami mimics other great people like Chopper and law where she gained something great from their parents and from that they made their talent even greater.
It's become a ritual that almost all of your videos are now my head cannon due to how well constructed they are.
6:26 This reminded me of something a One Piece CZcamsr said. You may or may not know that in Japanese there are two words for "there", soko and asoko, the former is used when something is closer to the listener than the speaker, and the latter when it's far away from both. And the CZcamsr pointed out that Roger used the former when asked about his treasure, implying it was right there with the crowd.
And though I heard this in a completely different context, well... that's exactly where the straw hat was 😅
Par absolutely snapped with this one!! Banger of a theory 🔥🔥🔥
The legend is back
I really like the idea of Roger's Treasure (that brings wealth) to be something that Nami wants, not Luffy. I always had the idea that whatever the wealth related treasure aspect of One Piece/Roger's Treasure is, would be something that Luffy wouldn't care about, and he would just give it to the person next to him - and it would be Nami, because she cares for wealth.
The reason for that is, because once (can't find chapters) Chopper asked Luffy, what's more important for him, a beetle or One Piece, and Luffy had a hard time choosing. And when he beat up Bellamy and was late to the crew, he was late, because he was searching for a beetle. He was super happy when he found it, only to give it away right after. For Luffy it's not about the treasure, it's about finding the treasure. And I thought it's a nice parallel that Oda will likely play out with One Piece as well. Luffy loves the adventure for getting it, but once he finds it, he doesn't care to keep the treasure. (Yes, those scenes are gags, but I think it's perfect for these harmless easily forgotten gags to foreshadow something this big.)
If it's related to Nami's dream of making her own map, it would fit perfectly for Luffy to just hand that part over to her.
This is as wild as that Ohara's "best OP theory ull ever watch". I hope you're right cuz that means we might get Roger novels like Ace
Arlong said this too , he said that he needs nami to draw maps for him , using which he would conquer the grand line. Maps were the most important things for his dream of world domination to come to reality, and the whole east blue saga was too focused on just maps. And then maps were sidelined because of the introduction of log pose and other adventures.
Agreed, just started watching the live action and it reminded me of the emphasis of how important maps are. Luffy gets introduced to Nami looking for the map to the Grand line.. and Zoro, Mr. no direction being at the right place at the right time is there as well. So, off the bat, Luffy was heading in the right direction from the jump.
This video was so amazing. This goes in such a different direction than most theorists I know but it makes so much sense!
Probably one of the best theory videos I have ever seen 🖤
The Ann connection absolutely sold me. I hope you get this W brother. This is such a great analysis.
These videos make my work day fly by. The points and evidence bought up in this theory are truly next level! Can’t wait for the upcoming Nami video!!
Welcoming back Par! looking forward to what’s coming next!
2:55 You see what had happened. Roger got there and there was a giant out for lunch. Sign Will be back in 800 years and the little countdown on the bottom said 20 years left😅
tbh in a video where you explain that knowledge is power I thought I'd see Robin too but many of the points you made, make a lot of sense. I always thought that Nami is not just a random girl that bellemere found, not when she's so talented.
The guy on Roger’s jolly Roger was the guy that first awakened the nika fruit 200 years ago and woke up the iron giant, (not joy boy )
wouldn't that make him really old since Roger only died 20 years ago in the story?so in order for him to awaken the fruit 200 years ago he would've had to have been a giant to live long to also inspire Roger in one lifetime.
Got a new sub outta me with this one mate! This was great! You are appreciated!!
Great vid as always. Helped me get through most of my work day
Holy cow! You came to the same conclusion as me in my shark theory video! Maps are IMPORTANT!! My video talked about the national treasure of Mary Geoise being a map of the world! One interesting thing I connected was why doflamingo wanted the personality swap and the immortality surgery and who he would swap to after knowing the fact of the national treasure being a map of the world! Love this video!!
Brother I’m loving the nami aspects of this theory, good stuff as always
Maybe the One Piece is the Rogers we made along the way
Don Krieg did wanted Zeff treasure being his log journal and he was from before roger era , we always forget that the one piece as a concept didn't always existed, I see Roger as someone who goes back to the cavern of platon to inspire others to get out. awesome video, the roger flag was there the whole time and Nami being a portgas is an old theory but now we finally have leads, thank you keep it up!
"the one piece as a concept didn't always exist" which makes me wonder what was the goal of the rocks pirates and what did it mean to rocks to be king of the world.
I hate how every time I see a crazy theory concept from this man, 20 min into the video I’m in complete agreement . Killer theory dude, keep up the good work!
Lmaooooooo there's a few more of these on the way
What if Nami is a portgas? That'd be a neat connection
He's finally back, and he cooked up a FINE meal 🙏🏿
Dope video par, been waiting for a drop from you and here we are, merry christmas 🎅 🎄
@0:15 Well Roger Never says it *because* he was about to die and the guy yelling already said it, but you got it there. But to Confirm Reighly already said they found the “One Piece” on Sabaody
I really love this theory. Best one I've heard in a while.
18:30 - 18:41 | It's possible that Shanks wasn't saying "Give me your poneglyphs" because he needed them, but rather to force Kidd to give up on his Pirate King dreams. More of an ultimatum, like : "You can give up on finding the one piece, or you can fight me now for the final one. No other options. No running and trying again. You're here now. Make a choice."
And to his credit, he fights. And loses spectacularly. But the point is that I don't know that this is evidence that Shanks doesn't know where the One Piece is, or that he doesn't have this hypothesized (and honestly likely, given your evidence) map of the world.
That is valid. It's hard to say atm. Cuz honestly my headcanon prior to that reveal was more like what you're describing that shanks casually knows everything but has been waiting. But tied with like what buggy is saying, it cud be that shanks has been stalling his laughtale run until now. Maybe shanks wanted to earn it against some competition? LOL idk but I can't wait to actually find out. Hopefully oda will give it to us soon
10/10 theory. I always wondered who was on Roger's jolly roger
Maybe I'm silly for thinking this, but when Garp was first introduced, his attacks damaging Luffy were thought to be due to family/love(I don't remember the exact words). What if Nami is really Portgas D. Nami, making her Luffy's sworn sister/cousin and that's why she's able to hurt him in gag scenes. While they're just gags I wouldn't put it past one piece to give gags meaning.
I love the theory.
Every time you referred to Roger's book as his Bible, I couldn't help but think of Kuma's Bible and the possibility that it was Joy boy's log.
By the way. Ever since I read treasure island I have a suspicion that no matter what map they have, it won't help them find any treasure. There is the character of Ben Gun, who like Gaimon was abandoned by his crew on the island where the loot is. During the years he is there alone, he finds the treasure and hides it elsewhere, so when his former crew arrives with Captain Flint's map they find empty chests. At the beginning of the novel I seem to remember you are told that there is still some of the treasure left on the island.
Being the character of Ben Gun a very parodied one, like in Monkey Island in the character of Herman Toothrot, or in the muppets, I think it would be possible for Oda to do something referencing this character.
I can't recommend Treasure Island enough, it's amazing how many things you get out of that reading, like the supposed origin of the rum bottle song, which may be a reference to a real event of Blackbeard's crew.
Haven't even watched the vid yet but Paravision is already cooking with this thumbnail 💯💯💯
I remember I was still a baby when Par last uploaded😢
LOL
Well true
this is the most fun ive had with a theory video
Capitalist Par finally blessing us plebs with a long awaited theory video after a long hiatus only dropping for members lol.
Great vid again Par! Always been bugged by Roger's,Jolly Roger. Love the thought it was his mentors. Makes sense when we still don't know where he got the Straw Hat and we know that will be significant.
Cheers!
Ah… the long awaited video has arrived. 🎉Thank You.
I know people dont like it, but with the themes of one piece being found family, adventure, following goals/dreams/achievements, and that treasure is more than gold, I always thought the idea of the one piece / rogers treasure being experiences and friends we made along the way to fit really well
You cracked the matrix w this video.
Oh wow ..
You got me convinced.
That's a good one. Love it.
😈 muahaha this is just the start
@@Parvision- yo. I swear. I was thinking about Nami and the kingdom she was found in a few months ago but to find this connection. Sick.
Great video
Parvision, you are a mad lad.😂👑🏴☠️
With just the mention of "king", "book", "Nami" and "mentor", you sent my mind racing to infinity.
And then he mentioned Rouge having orange hair....which threw me off but yooooooooo
I have a theory that the map that Imu used to destroy Lulusia was gotten from The Queen of the Ancient Kingdom(The song "Moon Princess" talks about her just like Binks No Sake talks about Joy Boy).
Inherited Will is one of the concepts Oda pays the most attention to(Sun and Moon concept(both divided in positive and negative(the most important concept in One Piece)), Inherited Will concept, Destiny concept, Hope/Faith and..... LOVE).
I think The Queen of the Ancient Kingdom had the dream of making a world map and when she was younger tried to complete it by traveling with Joy Boy. When Joy Boy died she decided to commit suicide that's why she couldn't complete the whole map and accomplish her dream, just like Joy Boy's dream wasn't accomplished and passed Via inherited will to Roger and from Roger to Luffy(who will complete it), The Queen of the Ancient Kingdom passed her unfinished dream via Inherited Will and reached Nami in this generation.
I think Joy Boy was the King of the Lunarians.
Love the video. Given me a shit ton to talk about with my partner.
One thing Ive noticed is that this is very similar to several slow removals of intelligencia we have experienced in the real world. Its easier to control people when those who can out think you are the first to go.
What's the name of the song playing during the first segment of the video? It sounds really familiar and I just can't put my finger on it...
is this the video you were giving hints on during the piecemeal podcast? Bc this video got even better on rewatch
waitttt remind me what i said on the piecemeal becauseeee, i went on right before my hiatus or at the start. so i could have been spoiling my one piece theory too LOOL
I’m pretty sure it’s implied that Roger and Luffy’s dreams are the same, since that’s what Yamato said. And I mean Luffy’s true dream that he’s going to do after being the Pirate King.
this is implied its blatantly stated by yamato and shanks and rayleigh... we just wasnt obvious that luffy had some hidden dream until wano arc.
That man on the Jolly Roger is Master swordsman Flower blade Vista⚔️ The world government is blind😤😈
This was a super cool theory 👍🏽
The connection to the real-life map was crazy. Video was interesting but really caught me at that point.
Parvisions information drops are insane...
Ngl I was so fixated on the thumbnail I didnt even notice it had the word booty on it 💀
Wuhuu another Par Video!
40:10 Good ole Namizo
This theory goes crazy🤯
I hope Oda adds a bronze statue of JoyBoy at Laugh Tale 😂😂
You're onto the right thing. LOL muahahaha haha in like 3 vids I will put out my one piece video. I needed to warm up
The shared secret dream of Rodger and Luffy is to eat the meats of EVERY ISLAND
Gil’s log is more food diary lol
haven't watched the video yet but i like it so far! lol
hey par, i think you would like the clip from one piece where after alabasta the crew is in the going merry, luffy is bored because it's raining outside and he shows interest that robin is reading a book. she shares that it's called "the rainbow mist" and it was a book of adventures and luffy of course was interested in it because it was adventures. what's funny is the reaction of the crew being utterly shocked by this and i think we know it's sometimes scenes like those where oda hides a truth behind a silly joke
what do you think?
Babe wake up Par just dropped a banger 🗣️
It's been a while since we got a theory video I'm happy y'all content creators keep making ranking videos....WE WANT THEORIES DATS IT DATS ALL LOL AND CHAPTER REVIEWS!!!!!
Remember that time when the crew was all bored, and suddenly Luffy wanted to read a book?
Imagine if that was the gag hiding the true secret - Luffy's dream is to explore the world and write a book, like the one(s) he read as a child.
That's why he believes he has to become the king of the pirates to achieve it, because only the king of the pirates can have the freedom to sail anywhere.
Roger could have said something similar and it's so different from his usual personality that everyone laughed.
your theory really unites the world of one piece once the one piece is found all the secrets the world has to offer will be yours
Man I ain't never clicked on a video, that thumbnail did it's job
I’m here for the thumbnail.
Just kidding, Par brings up a lot of great points, we assume, and make connections without questioning their validity, and these assumptions cause us to be blindsided by Oda. I can’t wait to find out what actually is the One Piece, and the circumstances around it.
49:27 I feel like you're correct on a couple of points and reaching on a couple others. You might be absolutely correct about brag men being Rogers logbook in disguise and I'm sure nami's got some crazy lineage that we have yet to hear about in fact, she could be a decline member and royalty from a lost kingdom
A Map would be the most valuable thing in this world. Even more than it was in our world.
10000000% makes sense why nami wants to make it too hahahhaa
I was under the impression that Shanks carries Roger's sword now.
Nah he got gryphon, the name of shanks sword
THE GOAT DROPPED AGAIN 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💚
Sanji being the 5th of the East Blue 5 to join makes me think we’re going to go in reverse with these second backstories. I’d say Usopp/Yasopp flashback makes sense for Elbaf, laughtale is perfect for Nami since it’s a navigation and treasure hunting arc, Luffy will reunite with Dragon around the final war where we’d finally solve the mystery of his mother. Zoro is definitely the hardest to place because with him I don’t really see the need for another flash back, I think Oda will focus more on his connections with Ryuma with the grand reveal being that the Shimotski clan is the Wano barer of the D. Initial. This would mean our original trio that we started one piece with all have the D initial of your theory is correct. 3D/2Y
Love the thumbnail🤣par worked hard for views here guys common respect it
5:22 D. Strawhat as the man marked by flames theory otw?
I think the reason Roger kicked off the great pirate era is to inspire people that there is hope for the future and it lies outside of the world. Government's control his dying words inspired entire generations to rise up and go out and do exactly what they were told not to do, which gave cover to the young aspiring heroes of the future to not be cut down before they have a chance to actually try
The book of Bragman was brought to the past from the future, with every Ussop story. In Raftel, Space-time is different , so U can see every sotry in every point in time (Past, present, future), and Joyboy is luffy fron the past, after they travel from Raftel Back in time. That's why, that book (Usopp Journal) became the Bragman´s book, Mugiwara's lost in spacetime ♫♪. Poneglyphs are written on hardened material, so timetravelers can check their locations and don get lost.
And everyone meets at the last island raftel, where every captain from every ship exchanges hats. Everyone laughs and tell their stories from their respective times, everyone goes back. The end.
What I am assuming is that Roger’s treasure is the world, because he wants to turn the world upside down and that would start with people traveling around the world.
Good work Parrrr
Pressed the like button before watching. This is be good.
banger video as always 🫡
good cooking chef par.
That thumbnail is insane but I like it
Greatest theory ever made!
Rodger is the straw hats and the strawhats is Roger. The whole crew
Isn’t the problem with a map in the grand line the navigation? You can know an island is 50km North if another island, but you need the log pose to keep pointing to it. You can’t sail straight there, and the winds and weather are constantly changing.
Edit: it would make a lot of sense for the world government to fear detailed maps though, because then people could see the islands they’ve removed.
You're right but i think of it as a "problem with direction" rather than "problem with a map". The problem is they can't follow the map because they for some reason don't use star gazing. And a normal compass is thrown off by the magnetism. So in that regard the map will never be the issue. It's following the map which is the issue. And I know its splitting hairs sort of but just as an example they still used a map when leaving wano. They were determining their direction first then leaving. And so in that regard, there is more value to maps than just making it from island to island, in the irl history example I gave, it was details like knowing that "outside of wano there are huge rock pillars with whirlpools inside them" that would have been the equivalent type of info that was insanely valuable. So like obstacle avoidance even rather than destination focused mapping.
Oh brother, here we go
I love the thumbnail lmao
I’m 16 mins into this video. You right. Never realized the importance of maps in the story
Shiiiiiiet bro start talking bout booty right after I commented this. Par is the top tier.
thumbnail absolute peak
Fuck yeah a new Parvision
