Just wanted to share my two cents about something that helped me improve my speaking skills.
I am a person who plays online multiplayer games a lot. Sometimes, I connect my game to American, European or Australian(Oceania) servers to play with native English speakers. It has improved my ability to understand and respond quickly, or to just engage in casual talk, while being clear enough for them to understand what I'm saying (very important. Terrible, slow communication can ruin the game).
Edit: I ended up scoring 8 band.

The thing is: you have to realize in your brain that you are currently trying to form sentences in order to speak/respond to someone.
I don't know if it makes any sense but I can verify that it is real by saying: Everyone speaks fluently inside themselves (inner voice) that's because that is the sound of the brain.
