This is the hardest mock test I have ever seen😳 about technologies, innovations, it's very hard to think or elborate in my own native language🤣hope this kind of questions may not come in actual ielts test

Hey, you are doing great. I just received my IELTS Score. Got an 7.5 in speaking. I did mess up in the 2nd part, but still managed to get an 7.5 as I've done well in the other two sections. Why are these questions so technical?? It's very hard to me to answer to them even in my native language... this question about "innovation" would take me at least an hour of research... How can you answer to such a specific question?

Captain Mason true, but you have only one minute to cram all these ideas into a coherent passage. It’s really frustrating. My sister got this part on technology used in biology, which she had no idea about. It didn’t go that well.

I feel happy and confident after watching this becaue her speaking had a lot of uhmmms and aaahs.. I have similar issues... it would be great if this doesn't affect the score.. but i doubt
don't take this score serious. Because band scores 8 and 9 are for people who their first language has the minimum effect on their speaking in English. she deserves 7 to say the best...these people should take their exams in Iran to figure out how IELTS work🤦♀️it's like a disaster
I don't think she is just able to get 7 point.I mean look at her fluency and expression even I would say her very flexible .Bcz the way she handled this toughest question it's appreciating...🙂 and the moment of where she said ummm uhh it's normal.Bcz it's a sign of u didn't disguise the answer before the test.Sometimes intensely perfection arise suspection .

@@seerjughimire5322 check materials on the CZcams channel " IELTS speaking success " I mainly followed his strategy then watched a lot of these mock test. If you don't have speaking partners, try to record yourself ( 14min straight without any break as if it was the real exam), then listen your recording and correct mistakes. Practice, practice and practice. Good luck !

Referring to a third person as "you" and "your" is pretty common among Indians I guess (I do that often) but it's best to replace it with "one" and "one's" when making a generic statement...

I also observe same thing but the grammer she used was so complex along with vocabulary , but i think she mostly deserves 8 to 8.5 by judging all perimeters.

I think band 9 for this speaking is unexpected because from the review I have heard if there is hesitation in our speaking it affects our score greatly. And she is hesitating in each sentence
no, she is not hesitating...actually she is thinking and thinking is obvious even in your mother language too..without thinking seems like you have crammed the language.

If this person took an IELTS exam in my country (Iran), she would get a maximum score of 7.0. She is so lucky to not take exam in Iran.

@@alijavan3831 Exactly you are right, dear friend. But, as you know or it's better to cite; I hold the view that the Persian IELTS Examiners are so strict that if a British examiner participates as an anonymous person, he or she will probably not obtain band 9.
Great lesson .The feedback is really helpful. At the same time, I personally feel that if the interviewer would ask questions according to the Academic , Professional background or hobbies of the interviewee , she could speak more on the topic confidently.Afterall,she is to be examined for the spoken English and it is not a knowledge test(if I am not wrong).The questions seem to be abit technical to me. Anyways it's fun to watch not too easy questions though not for an interviewee.

I gave test on 31/07/20 and got 8 in speaking and overall 7.5 in academic. I spoke from my heart and did not follow the script.My 2 minutes topic was also bit off track but whatever I spoke I said in a flow.

This is the first time I can understand an Indian speaking english. She is very smart and pretty.

I took TOEFL exam 3 days ago. Thank god I didn't go for IELTS. I would have been extremely nervous in front of an instructor. Plus my TOEFL went pretty good 🙂🤓

@@moonowl2042 i'm not sure. but i think TOEFL also has 4 sections which are Listening, Reading, writing and speaking. Pretty much the same like IELTS. but from what i've heard, TOEFL is easier than IELTS. I'm not sure about that tho, bcz i've never taken any TOEFL test.

The candidate perfect score has drastically hit a Super Fluffy Souffle Omelette to the comment section. let the digress, my aspect about her speaking is too good to get the score. My IELTS score was about to 7 and the examiner asked me about my accent in an off moment.

Why not. It's easy to be critical, but more challenging to actually disseminate her speech and assess the positives in contrast to the negatives. I'm very curious to know about this.

I really didn’t get when you said "be certain of the information that you give". What I came to know from one of my IELTS instructors at British Council was IELTS is not an exam where you are checked based on your knowledge rather it’s a test of how good you speak. I don't know if I was apprised of it right

We have a problem passing the IELTS test in our country, and the conditions that we pass during the exam are completely inappropriate to obtain a higher mark 😔😔😔😔
