Very interesting culture and traditions. I like the mindset of Native Americans. One day I want to go to America and visit some tribes and talk to the people. I really can imagine that I want to stay with these people and never go back again :D

Arapahoe decent from my mother's side. Her Madian name was Crowley. Does that ring a bell for anyone who might know anything about the Arapahoe tribe?
I want to know more but really don't know where to look. Any feedback from anyone is welcome. Thanks

My father kept saying we have a little Blackfoot in us, but none of our family history was in the Western part of the country which is where you're always told the Blackfoot tribes lived and most of my family history in America was in Michigan, but here they mention an oral history of having lived in the Great Lakes area before they moved to the Western parts of country which makes me think if there is any truth to my father's claims, this would most likely be the tribe where this ancestor came from.

At the 3:35 mark....I would change it back. I don't care. That's their rightful, God given name...I would change it back.
The importance of a name, esp a family name, cannot be overemphasized. That's the way l see it.

I would make things difficult for the US government:
-all Indian associations must REQUIRE BILINGUAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS
-to bring to the INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT, the breach by the US Government of the treaties with Mexico
3-threaten the US with the pursuit of independence in international courts
    yes:
-they do not invest money there
-they do not reserve a place in political organizations for Indians
    Take it to international courts

With all respect, tradition tradition,, but wearing a base ball cup, super short hair and glasses, I mean the exterior means something too, never understood why indians don t care to keep basic plains apparel alive. Like a biker wearing surf shorts saying he upholds bikers traditions.
