Everything about this video is so powerful but the biggest take for me is the spiritual part, those prayer points are really powerful. You also didn't ignore the mental and financial implications of raising a powerful child for God's kingdom. I am so conscious about the parenting God's children that he has given me the responsibility to raise, may God continue to strengthen every parent out there.

- Trust God completely for His timing - Proverbs 19:21 - many are the plans of man but it's God purpose that prevails
- Mental preparation for the transition - reading about parenting, etc. - gain knowledge - imagine yourself as a mom and what life would be like
- Educating yourself extensively - determine the kind of parent do you want to be, core values, etc.
- Guard your heart - especially as you're reading and hearing about things from people (the negative ones especially that will contribute to anxiety)
- Financial preparation - save!!! Plan for them financially - even open separate account for that and put money in there consistently
- Staying fit - being healthy
- Spiritual - PRAY about everything - specific prayers for child, general prayers, everything that crosses your mind

Parenting is such a big ministry that one cant just go in without adequate knowledge and wisdom. Loved that you shared this for those who are on this parenting journey. When I am on "unknown" grounds I get very picky with what and who I listen to and what I also read especially from family members that have good intentions. Continue to follow God's lead as you both raise your bundle and remember that no one can be a better mom/dad to your child that is why God chose you guys. God bless your new bundle and your family. This was an insightful video and well done for bravely filming this and sharing. Just to add to the Amniocentesis testing. They don’t just give you the Amniocentesis test, you do a blood test at 12-13 weeks called NT screening which screens for Edwards, Patau’s and Down Syndrome. If the risk comes back as high risk, that’s only when they offer Amniocentesis which as you described involves inserting a needle into the abdomen to extract some cells. And you are so right sometimes it could lead to miscarriage or there is a risk. And I concur with what you said sometimes they may tell you one thing and the baby turns out completely fine. ❤️❤️❤️
