He beat no one, he's never beaten anyone. Catchy phrase, but as catchy as you want it to be, his future won't be bright as a Grade 1 horse. That's the way most see it.
I remember when this was a 2 mile race. Nobody values stamina anymore.
2:03 at Del Mar also and that’s a faster track. You never know this year. Bright future take a shot. He was used to put Tyson away and still had enough to win . Not bad.

Never say no chance. The Del Mar race ran in 2:03 also w faster track. And older horse division is weak this year. Great job Bright Future

His owner was in debt and I believe he was counting on AP to payoff or at least reduce his debt and probably was decided to retire him to stud duties rather than risk injuries.

Glad for Bright Future too get a Grade 1!!! But as any good horse player knows, this field along with the Pacific Classic field is a bunch of Bums! Very Slow horses! Have ZERO chance of out running the other 3yr olds! Geaux Rocket Ride is the Best Horse outta both them Races even though he didnt win! Bafferts horse is a Bum n had a uncontested lead the whole trip! He def dnt wanna run 1 1/8 or 1 1/4!🐎

If that's the case pretty much every race was full of bums.....Arcangelo beat a bunch of weak 3 year olds in the Belmont and Travers and has never faced older horses....White Abarrio cant string 2 wins together....Zandon is a retread trying to come back to life...Mage never regained his form.....best race coming into the BC is Ushba Tesoro's win in the Dubai World Cup. He's coming into this race with 6 wins out of 6 races.
