Tight turn before landing at Inuvik (YEV) in an Air North Hawker Siddeley HS.748 Series 2A (C-FCSE) after a flight (4N 307) from Old Crow (YOC) on 19.03.2017.
Within 5 seconds of touch down, the FFPS lever is to be withdrawn or else you get an audio warning. With FFPS lever withdrawn, the blades attain ground Fine Pitch thereby minimizing the thrust. This aircraft isn't equipped with thrust reversal facility.
Advancing the throttles to taxy after landing with the FFPS not withdrawn will result in over temp of the turbine blades PDQ. Cue one sided interview with management and sad departure clutching HM Revenue & Customs P45 certificate of pay and tax deducted. Hence it was known to us in the UK as the P45 lever. I flew on the Dart Herald with a captain who'd been P45'd from previous employment for melting all four on a Viscount.

Superb footage! spectacular visual approach
Nice little clip. Glad to see an old working girl can still find work!

Wow, that’s an awfully short final leg!!
Beautiful Noise🇬🇧
I was conceived it the toilet on a 748
RR Dart - what a turboprop is meant to sound like!
HS 748 eh! Sometimes circle forever until a break in the clouds over where I'm from.
I love the sounds of the engine
No thrust reverse needed on length of runway there.
2:47 turn starts lol
