I love the sound of these Darts as they wind up; pitch change, lag, lag , then turbines faster, then lets go!!
Excellent video! It makes me wish I could afford to travel to places where I could fly on these old turboprops. Great memories of them as a kid.
Worked on the Dart QEC for Air North back in the 90s. The engines were shipped to the UK and i worked for the company that overhauled them., H&S Aviation.
