In this coaster review, I review Orion, the newest coaster at Kings Island. In the review, I talk about the stats, onride experience, theming, and discuss if this was the perfect fit for Kings Island.

Since I'm going to this park this month, I'm getting very hyped for the moment truth: I predict Orion to be one of the most overrated roller coasters in the world, and it's one of the reasons WHY I expect Kings Island to be overrated as well. If you want to know WHY, leave a comment down below asking my reasoning.
I'd like to hear it, but it might make me cry

@@CoasterNerd Imo, Orion is the worst name... ever given to a roller coaster! Man, I hate that name! Sure, I see what they were going for, but... OK, this may be a little personal, but I'm gonna say it anyway. All you have to do is put in a B inbetween the first O and the R, and congratulations, you've said my last name correctly! It's like Kings Island is trying to embarrass me by spreading my last name around the public, and making my last name a member of the park. This isn't my only gripe with Orion, though. Here's another: The layout is missing something. Now, hang on; imo, the layout isn't BAD or anything, it's just nowhere NEAR as fantastic as Fury 325. What I'm saying is that the layout is missing an element that gives you a LOT of airtime. That's something Leviathan and Fury 325 have. Aaaand... uuummm... have you ever had a problem with the ride duration? Like Leviathan, Orion is... quite short for a giga if you ask me, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on that. And another thing I'm sure I'm not alone on is that us enthusiasts were disappointed by the ride's stats when it was announced. It did have a drop big enough to qualify it as a giga, but a height less than 300 feet? We didn't have that before when making a giga, and speculators and Kings Island enthusiasts were dreaming big for that giga when that comes. Now, they got the smallest one. And yeah, I don't count Red Force as a giga. So there you go: Why I predict Orion to be one of the most overrated roller coasters in the world.
@@skyguyismyguyr12turn I understand, however, about an element that gives you a ton of airtime, the speed hill I talked about in the review is very well sustained. So about the name being super close to your last name lol, I hope the ride exceeds your expectations!
