Compared to the city’s and towns in Thailand walking around Europe with almost no one out on sidewalk has got to be a strange feeling especially for gift
It is but on the weekend it can get busy in the city center.

Looks like the Italy I know and love there...
Bit cool yet, but definitely the vibe is there...
There are some really greatest restaurants in that area, used to stay in a couple of small B & B outside of Aviano...
Between all the sites in the country I used to visit regularly, Aviano was one of my favorites...
Also liked Sicily, Vicenza, Verona, and Gaetta...
Oh yeah...Rimini too!
Overall, there wasn't ANY i didn't like I guess...
Food was super too everywhere...Miss that and the beaches...

Great video Joe and Gift! It's great you are meeting you old friends in Italy. It's unusually cold at this time of the year, it's almost like winter and I had to wear winter clothes back again. I was in Italy 22 years back as young engineer and was in Milan outskirts the people are awesome and the pizzas i tasted you cant get anywhere.

Joe and Gift, this series is so exciting as both of you are not only enjoying each others company and love, but are both equally excited for different reasons. Joe visiting his old haunts, and Gift opening her eyes to new experiences and discovering Joe's past life and old friends. I think for Thai people the greenness and cleanliness of Europe is a real eye opener and so different from Thailand. I know it was for my wife. Gift has a much better grasp of English than my wife when she visited England for the first time, so at times Orapan felt excluded when I was talking with old friends and family because she did not understand! Loving this adventure and the flashbacks, God bless you both and keep you safe 😀❤🙏

I have been following you from the beginning of you immigration. IN Eurpa, Italy is also my Favourite country and am going to Northern Italy for a week in June. Be in Peschier del garda on Lake Garda then. You are not that far from here I see so you could easily visit that place by train. It is very beautiful there

Joe, Gift is so cute, trying so hard to learn English and explain in our language what she wants to say. She is doing this for you Joe and I'm sure it's not easy for her. The cute part is when she acts out like charades to express her self when she does not have the English words. She is trying so hard!

Gift is one very smart lady as she picks up on things so quickly like the clean maintained walkways compared to Thailand. Her little act of stumbling was a great display to reinforce your walking in LOS Joe. Great people great memories of old friends another world from today really. Bushyboy Oz.
That was so heart warming ! Nothing like great friends. My daughter in high school worked for an Italian family which was open 3 days a week at a local farmers market. We became great friends. They had the best pizza, fresh everyday and selections galore. When my daughter went to college, my wife worked there to hold her job. Great people and a quality pizza. His father sold him the pizza business and opend a booth selling Italian meals , so many kinds single portions which I also ate often. They could not do enough for their employees....treated like family. Thank you for sharing as I enjoyed your history living there. Gonna be a great trip!❤

During the cold season to keep the temperature at 21 degrees celsius inside an appartment in Europe means that the owner refuses to heat. As simple as that.
I asked around and it seems to be the norm. Energy cost are extremely high here.
Cool video! One of my childhood best friends was stationed in Italy while I was stationed in Germany. We would go back and forth visiting each other on some weekends. I would love to go back and visit where I was stationed in Germany but the base has been closed down for many years.

Wow! Joe, you retired about 14 months before me and I remember watching your videos back then when you were talking about Thailand and your plans. That was "BG Time" "Before Gift". So happy to see your return vacation with Gift and revisit place and see old friends.
I was in Thailand last September but wasn't able to look you up.... I think Gift was having some health problems then and I wanted to stay out of the way. But I'll be back in August so maybe I'll hit you up and try to grab some lunch together. After almost 6 years on CZcams I feel like you and Gift are old friends but we've just never met yet! LOL
