- r/Entitledparents In today's episode, a Karen at an amusement park decides that OP and his family doesn't deserve to cut lines at the rides, despite the fact that they have a special pass that allows them to do exactly that. She confronts OP's family and yells horrible slurs at OP's children, and even kicks OP's service animal! Luckily, park security shows up and calls the cops. Karen gets dragged off in cuffs and OP has to cut their family vacation short to go to the vet to care for their dog.

As a Muslim, I agree. I don't care if my daughter's with a Taoist, a Buddhist, or a Christian, as long as he's an honest and hardworking Chinese man
"If Jews are so bad, what about Jesus?" -- Bold of you to assume that that kind of Christian actually follows the teachings of Jesus. The only part of the story they seem to care about is the part where he dies, anyway.
@OHHESCAPE I said _that kind_ of Christian.
Arent they vampires then? They literally drink his blood in wine
Seems more accurate
@@eckoreckofantasy Please, Ecko, do not show ignorance on this matter. Catholic doctrine claims that during Mass, the "transubstantiation" changes the wine and bread into the literal blood and body of Christ. This based on Jesus' words at the ceremony that closed that "last supper" which was a traditional Seder before Passover. His words constituted encouragement to his followers, in effect telling them that though His body would be killed, His spirit would remain with them, encouraging and leading them; and that repeating the ceremony regularly would help continue His ministry in the world.
Only the Catholic Church claims this physical change of the elements; other Christians (Protestants) do not hold to this doctrine. And I would submit that probably many Catholic parishioners doubt the veracity of this physical change.

Interestingly enough those types of Christians (like the mother and father in the story) probably don't realize that the God of the Jews, the God of Christians, and The God of Islam are one and the same.
I have come to the conclusion that Jesus was a socialist. He preached about helping each other and loving each other. The Bible teaches that the rich have a responsibility to the poor. This is also part of why he taught that it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. They also ignore the teaching that a laborer is worthy of his hire since they are not willing to pay workers a living wage.

That first story made me so mad what kind of parent would take their own child's final wish just to go on a cruise. That mother is the lowest of the low
"Spike is well trained, lazy, judgemental, and overall not interested in anything that isn't food"
Besides the well trained part (cause I'm not a dog) this just described my entire personality.
So the first story filled me with a deep hatred that I didn't think was possible. You already don't visit your sick child then you take her final wish away. Normally I don't condone violence against entitled people but there is always an exception to the rule.
Kinda like Cell.
Heartless killer, reminds of a certain kaiju
It's even worse when that's also got a double side order of stupid and spiteful added on top of it. Unfortunately, as sickening as this is, it happens. I was listening to an Ask Reddit asking MAW volunteers about wishes that they couldn't fulfill. Apparently there's a process where Parents are supposed to sit silent because it's the CHILDS wish. Not theirs. Sometimes they manipulate the child into saying a wish that THEY want. Sometimes MAW fulfills it (Unfortunately), most of the times they don't if they catch it.
Also they said that celebrity meet-ups are among the requests that do get denied. Not a lot of celebrities are open to MAW and trying to schedule a meeting is kinda tough.
@@Xolivas1 This is heartbreaking to hear. I do know of some authors and celebrities that would go to visit a dying child if that was one of their last wishes, but to know that these are the sorts of wishes that are denied because a lot of celebrities don't want to do it must be heartbreaking for the child who just wants to meet one of their heroes.
But to learn that parents manipulate their dying children to make wishes that only the parents themselves want makes me incredibly angry. It should be about the child, not about the parent.

Poor girl... at least she's in a MUCH better place now instead of with that monster of a mother! I hope karma really bites that woman someday.
I hate people that think they can control their children their entire lives and try to make all the choices and then say âwe never get to make any choicesâ it really makes me mad that people like that existđ

Story 1: This is why Make-A-Wish should be better regulated. It should always be the child's choice, not the parent's.
Story 2: There should be a law against any attempt to interfere with an adult's love life. To say nothing of the whole "freedom of religion" thing.
Story 3: You should never attack someone's animal. Service dog or otherwise.
the little angel story made me cry like a baby. how can a mother do that to her own child who is dying

I'm also a make a wish kid, even though it wasn't my last wish (as evident by me typing this) it's more common than you think to have parents try and hijack your wish.
Thatâs really terrible I wonder if they have/can make a system to prevent this.
What the hell is wrong with people?
I hate to ask this, but did you have your wish hijacked? I hope not :(
@@eirsavanflur4143 I believe they do have a system, but sometimes the children are influenced nonetheless. But if MAW finds out a wish was influenced by a parent, they wonât grant it.
@@mosseater333 No mine didn't, but I heard plenty of stories from the MAW interviews.
Bro the poor angel didn't get to see her favorite celebrity, I really hope that Mother gets what she deserved because she should have just sacrificed her dream for what her daughter really wanted. Instead, she ignored her daughter's wish and took advantage of the situation and told her daughter to wish for a family cruise. That's just so screwed up. If I were that mother, I wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice my dreams just so that daughter could have her final moments as the best day ever, heck I would call every actor who played her favorite avengers to meet her. Because that angel deserved so much more for dealing with an entitled parent throughout her life. God rest her soul đ
At least she gets to meet Stan Lee and other dead actors.
That first story? Some people just should NOT be allowed to be parents of a beautiful child.
I am also autistic and have one of the exit passes for Disneyland , one time I was going through the exit for Indiana Jones which also serves as a line for people in wheel chairs, when some lady walks by and yells and points at my mom, sister, and I.âyouâre going the wrong way! This is the exit not the entrance, go get in the line.â We ignored her and kept walking.
My brother is autistic and has an exit pass for Canada's Wonderland, and some lady shouted at us that "r*tards need to wait in line too" I was only like 14 but I told a ride tech and she was hauled off by security. The absolute NERVE some people have.
@@_.-._.-. We had that happen @ Efteling in The Netherlands. Security/entrance workers however take that *very* serious & hand out 1 single warning that's then communicated throughout the whole park. Do that again & your day at the park is over & you're escorted to the exit đ

Thanks Rshash for reading my reddit story. The update is that we settled the civil stuff and she plead not guilty, she claimed to have been trying to kick me and spike moved in the way. I'll keep yall informed on how the case goes. However she essentially paid for me to upgrade my membership and get memberships at SeaWorld as well.
So her defense is literally "I wasn't trying to kick a service dog, I was just trying to assault a disabled veteran?"
What world does she live in where she thinks that is somehow better?
You have my whole respect that you did not scream back or punch her. That is amazing self control during that situation.
Love your elder scrolls reference even though he didn't read it.
I am on the high functioning end of the Autism spectrum and I want to swap powers with your son. I just have an auto eject system from overwhelming situations.
did he actually take it from reddit or did you also share it to the discord?

Honestly how all of my pets are/act and I love it.đ
When I was a sick child, I had a make a wish wish as well. It's similar to the first story in that I wanted to meet one of my favourite celebrities, but my parents told me they would be too busy and it would be too hard to get in contact with them and make it happen, and that a stupid Disney cruise for the whole family would be more manageable.. They forced me to choose the Disney cruise for the family, and I honestly felt so cheated and unworthy of the wish I really wanted. Parents, please please please don't try to take over your terminally ill child's wish and make them feel like they're not worth it, or selfish for wishing for what THEY want. It may very well be the last thing they get to have like the poor girl in the first story, and it's so tragic and appalling to see that someone can be so selfish like this.
That first one makes me ill and furious. How could you take that away from them? That was your child and you used them... That mother used her dying kid to get what she wanted. I am truly at a loss for words.
I am not religious but I truly hope that the little Angel is in a better place. The mother deserves so much less.
My mom once said, "Well, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without [me] dropping an f-bomb." "I replied, "How many times and different ways do I need to say I don't want any peas?" Growing up she made me eat peas constantly, until I grew to hate them. I'm now 51 and didn't want any f___ing peas.

Some decades ago, I heard about a little girl who wanted to meet an actor (I won't name him), but he refused to believe that it was a geniune child, much less a MaW. The little girl never got her wish, and several in his fan base exposed him as an a-hole. It's a shame they couldn't have combined the cruise and Robert Downey Jr. Unlike the other actor, he seems like the kind of man who would drop everything to fulfil a MaW.

I was out shopping with my older son. He was about 16 at the time. So we are wandering around the store, picking up the basics, and chatting about what to make for dinner that night. I happened to notice a young woman enter the store with her guide dog. I didn't know her, but had seen her around town and in stores. So my son and I were debating between fancy or simple for dinner, when he suddenly took off like a tornado, just as I heard a dog yelp. By the time I turned around to see what was going on, I was greeted by the sight of my son beating the crap out of some guy half again as big as he was. So I raced over and managed to get my son off the moron. Now my son is not that tall (about 5ft 7in), but he is built like a wrestler. Turns out that my son happened to turn around just in time to see the moron kicking the guide dog 'out of his way'. I had never seen my son so angry in my life. Cops called, moron charged, and my son told 'just go a bit easier next time, you don't need to kill them'. I tell you though, the cold look on the cops face did not bode well for the morons immediate future.
WHAT, she wanted to meet Iron Man himself? That would be a dream come true. Better then any cruise.
