A good woman will want to make your life easier & add positive things. But, yes, unfortunately some are more trouble than they are worth, so to speak.
Remember Jared the Subway guy? The whole reason he was bonking teenage professionals was because he spent his whole life being completely invisible to women. As a lifelong actor/tv news guy, I can confirm the contextual alpha thing. I saw it first in high school theatre. Very few guys wanted to sing and act, but all sorts of girls did. I liked singing and acting and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get girls simply because I had big (stage) parts. I was later a big fish in a small pond (a minor celebrity in a place with a celebrity shortage) and it worked much the same way.
Now none of that led to a stable long term relationship. That takes something different.

You should go to a friend that gets A LOT women and read their text messages. Literally can copy their game for in person speech AND text speech cuz I swear they both matter INDEPENDENTLY. ALSO, ask someone that’s OK looking. Not someone that girls lay eyes on and they’re in him. He’s not gonna have the need to speak a certain way like an average looking guy.
My experience:
1. Non-chalance do wonders to certain women.
2. Direct approach through casual talk is the best filter to weed out women who are interested or not in you.
3. Having options lined up while approaching women is not wicked but practical approach to the game.
4. Do something that catches their attention. Anything can be a charm.Talent, sports, etc.
I got two handsome guy friends. One makes 6 figures and the other is unemployed. The unemployed one is the one who always gets women but he's very extroverted. My high earning friend is both very shy and not interested in hooking up with the low quality women that make moves on him.
Yeah, this is something I’m finding. I can get laid if I lower my standards. As an established guy with a high income, I keep my standards higher because there’s a lot to lose if I don’t. I think the reality is men who have a lot of women have a lot of time to spend on it. Either they aren’t focused on growing a bigger nest egg for their future selves or they have a nest egg large enough they no longer need to spend a lot of time on it. That’s my theory. The rich men getting women easily are filthy rich and have tons of spare time.

My advice especially for men who are handsome is, use it to your advantage. Too often I see other goodlooking guys acting lame and having low confidence. Your looks will get you through the door, after that it’s all a matter of having swag and a solid mouth piece. Learn how to make women FEEL, this should be a combination of both positive and negative emotions, that’s what keeps women locked in.

All research across cultures on human mating reveal that women in general value socio-economic status the most. This is become more true the older the more mature/older the women gets. That social status is what he's referring to hear as being a big fish, even if that means in a small pond. The economic bit, is also highly regarded by women and is often intertwined with high social status. Confidence is a proxy for competence, and the latter is a proxy for high socio-economic status. But women don't know (at least are not conscious of that fact) that confidence is only a proxy. Younger women are more likely to fall for confident men that are actually incompetent.

When you’re poor you need more game and stress to get women. When you’re rich and well established, women make the game for you. Hypergamy satisfied.
Back in High School I was not the guy women just threw themselves at and I learned how to be much more charismatic for it. After school I got a really good job that had me move out of my home town. A few years ago I went back to my high school reunion. I was easily out earning any of my other classmates and I also grew to be 6' 200lbs and all of a sudden the girls from my school now who never paid any attention to me or hardly any now wanted to spend the entire night talking to me.
That whole big fish in a small pond does a lot of heavy lifting, that's for dang sure.

I've got a friend who's good looking but he has a personalty and charisma of a plank of wood and he has beautiful women DESPERATELY cueing up to go with him, ON THE OTHER HAND... Both are possible. As long as you don't lead her with money, lavish lifestyle and you still take full control of financial without revealing our net worth and not giving her your debit/credit card. Treat her like like you run your business. Put her within amount of budget and do not break even point. If she wants more she is gotta earn it and you can judge her by her efforts
It depends on the women you're after. In today's world, a woman with options will more likely date a guy with a car and a house than an unemployed one, everything else being equal. Money is not the most relevant factor, but the lifestyle it facilitates does matter. Sure, if you're extraordinary in game or looks you can bypass it; but lifestyle is increasingly important to modern women for a relationship.

I believe from my experience that ambition is only attractive in men under the age of 30. It took me a few relationships in my 20's to realize that women will put you on the shot clock and if you're not making enough money in time then it's over for you.

If I don't have a good emotional click with them, I stop dating them it just doesn't feel right to me otherwise. Ok, but getting a woman to go out with you, and getting her to stick around are two different things. If all you are after is random sex, then yea... go figure, women are easy to manipulate. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode as my life of failure with women basically had me believing that because I’m average height with a middle class income, that I’m doomed to be alone. I’ve been told I’m not bad looking when I smile but that alone got me laid maybe once every 5 years or so; right now I’m working on a decade! First I love the confidence advice: forget your history! I’ve been plagued by my past for what seems to be eternity. Just be like the hockey goalie and forget the bad goals! I’m actually good at engaging women in conversation and can make them laugh but the man who worries too much about failure will eventually bring it upon himself. I know this as I’ve seen something I’ve said dramatically change a woman’s attitude, snatching failure from the hands of victory. Finally my ability to make people laugh could lead me to the appropriate stage: stand-up comedy. I know some clubs with open mike nights. Next step, “Cast my fate to the wind!”

Honestly this is great advice, and I love that dr. Robert glover also emphasizes emotional tension, but you really, really need to elaborate. Like, do a whole series on how to engage their emotions. I feel pretty confident about most everything else, but I want to nail this one down.
It's ultimately about checking off as many boxes as you can. That would be fitness, wealth, some status, charm, and a dozen other markers of success. And that takes time and practice.

I even used to pick up women in traffic LOL
Once I started working hard & focusing on my future, women just weren't a priority, anymore
And when you’re focusing on your life/career what follows is the reduction of the drama and entertaining of women at least to piggyback on your comment.

I couldn't find a girlfriend when I was poor. I couldn't find a girlfriend when I became rich. However, the problem was never related to hypergamy, not even was it because of lack of attraction. I simply never ran into attractive women who were single and on the dating market. No wealth in the world can change this.
You have to date married women or single baby moms. Sad but true. Good luck in meeting the woman of your dreams. I met the woman of my dreams in a strip club. I was young and foolish and if I had to do it over again I would have said "hell no!" The woman of my dreams turned out to be the nightmare of my dreams. Please don't make my mistake of falling in love with a stripper. They'll break your heart every time.
It has never been easier for a faithful, sincere woman to nail down a great husband. Quite literally any woman sincerely interested in marriage and family can go out and take her pick of the litter. If you are a man in his 40's or 50's, it is accurate to say, 'all the good ones are taken'. You are reduced to dating for for fun (rare with modern women, lol) or waiting for a widow to pop up. No one ever mentions the fact that quality women who are widows don't stay single very long.
Sadly, this is all due to lack of supply. Modern society doesn't encourage or support sincere family oriented women.

You’re overcomplicating this. All of those guys who smash with no money have LOOKS. Looks comes before money. Always has, always will. It isn’t “confidence”. Confidence is downstream to looks so I get how it’s confusing to you, but you have the causality backwards. It’s the looks that women want, not the confidence that is a consequence of it.
That's why I always say when the confidence line is brought up that if you look like Shrek and are confident, you'll just be perceived as creepy or cocky. If it was not mostly about looks, the men who are seen as the most desirable wouldn't be all good looking guys like celebrity dudes.
not what i've seen, i'm attractive but attraction is like an amusement ride: it's enough to get them to want to look closer but not necessesarily enough to make them want to ride. i constantly see far less attractive people getting play because they do exactly what he is describing. this gives me hope because i get exactly 0 on a yearly basis even though plenty of women have been "attracted" to me at first to only discover that it isn't as advertised. getting better now, depression for years is no joke.

I agree with you. Women go for looks because it’s an instinctive genetics thing… they wanna be turned on and they also want cute kids. The guys saying oh I look good and don’t get any women is because they don’t look as good as they think lol Most women I know, good or bad material go for looks first. They only go for money if they have been raised that way or they do that after they have been hurt a few times.

My perspective confidence even borderline psychotic. The sports analogy was good. I use to play indoor soccer league A grade everytime I stepped out to the game I knew I could score. I thought I was top 3 player in the league. Confidence humor engage in their emotions and look as attractive as possible will help. Dont be a puppy dog and bow down to them either. They all crave masculine men its part of biology.

My core problem is two things. 1. I am a single 43 year old man, most of the women I meet are a decent bit older or younger than me, think mid 20's to early 30's. 2. EVERY SINGLE women I meet is already taken. Every one.
To the doctor's point, even if you are not all that attractive, you can become attractive in their eyes over time. You won't get that immediate attraction the top percent of guys get, but you will draw them in over time if you follow today's lesson.
