2nd Gen GR86 Owner to Toyota: "My (stock) engine blew up while I was at the track due to the poor design that leads to catastrophic oil starvation. I want you to repair it under warranty."
Toyota: "Denied. Our warranty does not cover cars on a racetrack."
2nd Gen GR86 Owner: "WTH........." 😑
those cars werent stock they had exhaust and or other modifications

I wish Toyota GR had a track warranty like Hyundai N cars.

hopefully 32 cars and 96 engines to get through these races, this track looks like it has 5psi of oil pressure-type corners

Toyota fix the oil pressure problem in these cars. Making these videos to show them on the track but won’t honor warranty when engine blows

Subaru has been honoring their warranties but Toyota hasn't unless there is backlash in the media at which point they will suddenly decide to honor the warranty. This exact scenario has happened more than once.@@re4796

wonder how these guys fix the rtv issues would be good to know genuinely.
RTV issue is easy to fix. The oil starvation is a much more pressing issue.
Any ideas of how to fix? I'm just going to daily the car and weekend drives through through the mountains will never see a track or autocross my car should I still be as worried?@@yowadup1000

I spy an accusump under the hood ;)
Despite that, they've blown more than one FA24 unfortunately. Even the aftermarket struggles to come up with a solution other than dry sump to avoid pressure drops.
Edit : I didn't see any bright blue accusump reservoir, only remote shock fluid reservoirs, tied to the stock chassis braces!
