I had to add some washers to raise the factory bolt that insert into the hole under the seat. I also trimmed to open the whole up a little for the bolt to slide in .

What is a good price for a used Sportster? I am wanting to pick up a used Sporty with similar mileage and condition to mod/bob and have been looking at Kelley Blue Book as a general guide.

Is it 900 or 1200? My is 05 sportster 883 with 15k mile in great shape with new tires, oil change, brake pad and custom rear fender. I sold for 5k

Last year I picked up a 2007 1200Low bcuz I wanted fuel injection, it had 5700 miles on it and I paid $5000, they are out there just keep searching
