This is a great clip. Too bad there's not all the episodes from the beginning on youtube. or are they in one way or another? never know these days. But they used to reuse the video tapes and not keep all the shows. That's a real shame all the people working on these so hard and that work isn't preserved forever like it should be.
The exterior of the hospital looks like Buffalo Childrens' Hospital before it moved to Bryant Street. Since Port Charles is supposedly Buffalo, it makes sense. BTW that ambulance is creepy.
sonyab1974 Well, if this promo is from 1963, it was in its first year seeing that the show first aired April 1, 1963. The way the announcer talks about the show my guess is this originally aired late March 1963.
I liked seeing this. I don't remember them doing anything for Steve either but always talk about him. No one was as good as Steve or Jessie. They were missed.
@@martimac5097 They gave Steve a funeral months after John Beradino passed. As for Nurse Jessie, Steve said she passed away years ago (on the 30th anniversary episode). But yes, she didn't have any "going away" fanfare.
I like the 60’s show, the music is memorable.
And GH is STILL going strong on ABC 55 years later!
60 yrs as of April 3rd 2023.👏👏😎
This used to be a great show,it stinks now! Quit 2 years ago, watched since 1967.No more,!
@@patriciawalsh6733 why
It’s not about the hospital.
@@dustinolvey8877 not primarily but still a very important part of the show
Happy 58th Anniversary GH
those were the days......Long before soaps began inserting over the top story lines....
When did they start with "over the top".
@@miles2378 middle 1980s forward…
I find it amazing that I can see all these shows I missed while I was at school. 13 at this time. TYT!

Next month GH will be 60 years on the air.

And when Jesse died the show didn't even give her a send off shameful!!
No.. we did just see a photo of her the other day, though.
I remember them doing something, they also kept her blue weather on her chair for a long time

Bad acting then and now
