    Knotts has one of my favorite log rides in existence . In some ways I like it better than Splash Mountain , it’s a close one tho . The one at mall of America is fantastic as well . What is your favorite ?

      I actually hate getting wet, but I love lug flume rides. Splash Mountain and the Timber Mountain Log Ride are neck-n-neck for me, but the animatronics at Knott's frighten me a bit!! I think I caught you at Disneyland on Monday or Tuesday, but you were by the restroom so I didn't say hello!

      With out a doubt Knott's Log Ride is the best. As a note I was there on the day it opened 50 years ago. I remember seeing John Wayne. Live on the other coast now so I could not attend in person but enjoyed the experience through your video.

    • @viccas9301
      @viccas9301 Před 5 lety +1

      @@rexrabbiteer yes. I would love to see that. I am actually working on a petition asking Knotts to bring Knotts Berry Tales along with Wacky Soap Box Racers back in time for the 100th anniversary. Most rumors are pointing towards a new roller coaster. However I would like to see a new dark ride. Knotts could repurpose the existing Spurs and bakery building in order to make way for a new dark ride. Knotts berry tales could thematically fit within ghost town since the ride's theme focuses on the farm's famous boysenberry.

    I've always said that Timber Mountain is the best log ride there is. From its history at Knotts, to the famous story of Tony Baxter taking the idea for Splash Mountain, to the fact that it's just fun makes it just my favorite. The scenes, as odd of a collection that they are, are really fantastic. It always surprises me to hear that the drop is 75 feet. It really looks and feels so much shorter, especially when you compare it to Splash Mountain that only has a 50 foot drop but looks and feels so much taller. I wish I could get out to Knotts more to ride it more, but to save myself the trouble of getting there and avoid getting wet, I'll just watch and like your videos, Adam. Can't wait to you finally bust Sad Eye out.

    Remember standing up right before the first drop and the automatic dad voice saying "SIT DOWN" very sternly. The majority of my teen years was spent sneaking in with my friends.

    Nice running into you today. I meant to tell you that Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies recorded that music that you hear in there! I wish I had seen that guy who was giving out the old maps! But a manager liked my hat and gave me one of the Log Ride pins!!!! Good coverage. There was a lot of love for the Log Ride today! - Irene
