What’s your best travel tip? Video related or not?
Record more than you think you might need! Learned this from experience 😂
BRING A HARDDRIVE
Check your pockets before you jump in a pool ;)
HAVE FUN. RECORD WHAT YOU CAN. BUT HAVE FUN BABY!!!!!!
Don't be afraid to discover. You can plan all you want but leave time to enjoy and adventure, there's nothing like being surprised by what you find in places you might not have looked.
I love the vibe of this video, great information all while documenting the traveling experience.
Thanks man! Great meeting you at the Sony event.
Becki & That lazy guy
becki & chris. LOOK AT YALL!!!!!! You guys are dope. Ive been following you guys for some time now and learning from yall as a new youtuber in dallas, tx. What i mean by learning from yall, is how genuine you guys are. I feel like im right there with you both when yall are talking to the camera. MUCH LOVE YOU GUYS! YALL ARE INCREDIBLE!!!! LETS GO BABY!!!!!
Great travel and Vlogging tips. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this info great help in improving my next travel vid. Awesome!
Such a great talk - Loved meeting you guys - Great tips in this vid!
Thanks for the epic tips as always, you two definitely helped TONS trying to get into vlogging, and it was terrifying posting my first one, but watching all the way back through season 1 up until now and seeing how you started from scratch as well was a huge help. Plus, just so self0-conscious about being in video myself but it feels good to finally have that out of the way and posted! Thanks again!
Always love the videos! 😘 thank you
The 'remember to put your camera down and enjoy your holiday/trip too' is a good and important point. I don't even create film, only photography but it can really get on my son's nerves sometimes if we go somewhere and every single time he does something or looks at me, all he sees is a lens pointing at him
i have been waiting for your video... subbed you recently and loved your stuff.. saw a bunch of old videos of yours.. loved your aesthetic.. and content
Thanks for the tips! I think this will help me with the videos on my travel channel! Much appreciated.
Thanks for the tips Becki and Chris!
Love your channel! Your growth is amazing! Keep posting dope content!
Your B-roll is so fantastic! It's one of the many reasons I enjoy watching your channel! Your videos are so fun with your random jokes and with that lazy guy Chris ;) Great job both of you! I look forward to seeing your 368 video!
Love your guys videos sooo helpful
Awesome tips you guys. Have an amazing Sunday, Andreas 🇸🇪
Thank you guys so much for the tips.
You Improve my own creative life by providing help. Your personalities are quirky, funny, and relatable. I love your style of using Artsy titles and moody greys. Your audio is always clear and crisp.
In general, thanks a lot for the inspiration to keep creating quality content and keep up the good work! Any tips on filming a travel vlog without disrupting other people on the trip?
Can’t wait to see your talk! And also, the Sony a64000 trip looked so fun!! Couldn’t agree more with the advice as well.
ANAK Creates thanks! Yes we had a good time! So great to meet internet friends in real life!
@@BeckiandChris I can believe it!! Thats so nice. Such an amazing group there!!
You guys are the best. I really enjoying your content. Some wonderful tips
FILM WHAT YOU NEED AND THEN ENJOY YOUR TIME OFF.... TRUER WORDS for real. You guys are just KILLING It
We'll utilize these tips in the coming week! Woot!
Great b-roll, transition cuts and text work. Your Vlog gets better every day! 👍😎
This is my goal for this summer! Starting a vlog. This is what I subscribed for!!! Thanks a bunch! You guys killin it.
Five thumbs up. One for each tip. I really like the idea of planning the shots ahead so you can take a break from the camera and not forcing people into the video or pictures if they don't want to be in them!
This was so helpful! Thanks for the tips as I am just about to start editing another travel vlog! Ps you guys are rad!
Thank you so much for this video! I am traveling to LA for the first time and I want to vlog it as my re-into onto CZcams.
Great tips guys. Thanks 🙏
TopicRuben you are welcome!
I'm going on vacation with a few friends this weekend and these tips were so helpful! I'll definitely take them into consideration!
Managed to watch your video without the boss interrupting me. (honestly!) You have a new sub.
Don't worry about it Chris, naps are my spirit animal.

J. Ohara thanks! We’re gonna put some of it in the next vlog
Definitely stayed at the same hotel & room last time we went to NYC 😍 awesome tips as usual! Maybe my husband and I should start travel vlogging - you guys make it look so fun 😝

Josh Hanes thanks for sticking around with us that long!
Perfect timing! Travelling next week 😁
Y’all this is super helpful! I realized through our A6400 trip that I’m terrible at vlogging! 😂 I need practice badly! The idea of prep beforehand... definitely something I’ll need to focus on!
Awesome tips. I am doing a travel vlog this week! Not going too far. But I will use all your tips. Too bad we don’t get snow here :( Thanks again for all the hard work you both put in. Cheers
JVic Pro awesome good luck!! And thanks so much!
Thanks for the tips. Going to try a travel vlog on my trip to Jamaica next month.
ShelbyD'Amico awesome good luck!!
Love you guys, love the channel! Thank you for the content! #dopechannel
Best tips from a great tip video.
That tip about the cards is really good! I never even considered the thought of a hotel room being broken into. I'll definitely make sure to take plenty of cards with me and keep them on me at all times. Thanks for the tips! Awesome video :)
Andie Barry I never either until someone broke into Chris hotel room while he was in there and we’ve been a little paranoid ever since!
@@BeckiandChris Thats terrible! I'm sorry we're all having to learn from your bad experience!
Dang I already made my first travel video last week, great video though! :) Cant wait too see the video from 368
Woohoo thank you guys
Just trying to internalize all advice and tips. I've been meaning to start vlogs (I did actually but those were lazy ones and didn't really knew what I was doing.) I guess I have to start again at some point. lol love your content
I wish I saw this last month! Took a trip to California and didn't plan just took the camera and hoped for the best... Turns out I probably won't be making my first travel vlog just yet. But I still got lessons and footage I can use so it wasn't a total loss.
Great tips! You recently updated your intro (I know you said that in a video) and it looks great! Could you do a video on how you go about creating an intro for something?
Amazing Becki and Chris, I LOVED this! AMAZING tip for backing up at night... I formatted my card at the end of a trip to Europe and I did not have have a backup. Bad, bad, bad ahahahaha!!!
Jake Richardson oh noooo!!! That’s the worst feeling!
I like your videos color grading. Pretty cool 😍
I don’t know why I stopped watching your videos. Great videos and vlogging tips. Thanks.
It's insane how fast your channel has grown! When i discovered you guys, you had like 2k and now you have 88k??? Great video!
William Hill it’s been wild! Thanks much!
I would totally watch “Just Becki” ... but then my mind might drift randomly..I wonder what Chris is doin’...
Another classic you guys
The funny thing is: you're telling us about tipps for travel vlogs in form of a travel vlog XD
Thanks for all the love for hygge and Denmark.
Hi Guys, great video, i also thought Chris was more of the sidekick 😆
cool. thanks!
You guys should check out the Peak Design Travel Backpack, it looks like the perfect camera clothes combination
I second that, might actually swap my lowerpro 450 for it. Albeit a tad bit expensive but might be worth it
Love that tip about remembering to enjoy the vacation, and to not always be behind the lens.
Great tips guys...Lookin forward to that 368 video😁😁😁
Keep moving forward thanks dude!!
That is a lazy guy may never get old 🤙🏼
Adrian Ritchie 🤣🤣
Still love these posts. I am still getting the hang of being on youtube and secind video felt a bit better than the first. Thanks for being my inspiration.
Violet Henning each one always feels better than the last, keep going!!
thank you!
Yayayayayayaaa new video ^_^
Agreed the best travel tip is too film but also enjoy your trip. It can be difficult finding the balance, but you’re right you don’t want to feel like you didn’t get to actually experience it
So stoked for the next vlog! Also #ThatHyggeLife thoo
Great tips! Thank you.. So all your what-nots are what I did when we went to New York for the holidays -- got a new camera, and just went there started shooting. Now I don't know what to do with my clips. Lol. Thanks for the upload, I can sleep now. 😅
Mike Peñaranda oh no!!! We’ve been there!
@@BeckiandChris -- looking forward to your next upload. 👍🏼
I'll try and use some of your ideas. I might also try and watch this at home as the boss here at work keeps walking behind my desk! :-(
Thank for these. I think story while traveling is the hardest part.
i love you beck and cris your so cute guys... love the way cris rides your heli.. avid funs here in the mountain of philippines
Hey you two, very informative video with many valuable tips for people like us, who have just started with the vlogging :) We are looking forward to the video of the 368-talk! Keep it up and stay true to yourself. Love from Germany, Ben & Madlen
RonnyRakete • Ben & Madlen thanks much!! Glad it was helpful!
I feel like everyone is getting blitzed with snow right now! We’re supposed to have the coldest temps we’ve seen in 20-30 years here in Iowa this week 🥶 Excited to see the camera bag tour it’s always fun seeing what gear people like year after year.
You are so lucky here in Virginia we have NO snow
Alex Szurkus I’ll try to send the snow your way! As a teacher I don’t want any more snow days pushing us back further into June!!
This was filmed before you guys did the office/studio makeover video? Anyways, love what you guys are doing, you're one of the few vlogs I truly watch regularly because of your ability to blend the entertaining/personality (honestly love who you both are), while remaining really informative & educational. Good stuff guys keep it up, looking forward to seeing where you'll both be by the end of the year!
Austin Schargorodski no this was filmed after the office makeover! Just last weekend! Thanks so much!
Your Newfie is showing...and it makes me happy. 😂
Very nice.
4:35 mood
i love you guys
Giant Jesus ass snow storm! Haha..Y’all are my #1 go to vlog! Looking forward to 368 👍
Josh Walker Vlogs 🤣❤️
What mac(s) are you guys using for your process, I need to upgrade my macs. I have an iMac and a MacBook pro, but I also don't want to spend an arm and a leg on replacing everything. Also give the tech details on your Macs please, very helpful. Thanks
I came here to watch coz I'll be pursuing my plan to do a travel videography and vlog! Wish me luck!
I guess I'll wait for the next 5 years for that cabinet video 😂
Love you guys, as always very interesting video.
A small request, I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this, but please consider using stabilization when filming... I got "air sick" watching this video 🤢... it felt like I was having a bumpy helicopter ride 🤪
Looking forward to the 368 video.
Thank you for your valuable tips, i didnt realise how difficult vlogging until i started. Talking to camera is still pretty much funny and then watching myself is awkward haha:D who agrees with me??
I cannot agree more with the tip for learning how to use your gear before your trip. When I first got my Sony a6000, it was my first camera, I thought I knew everything and was too confident. A month in with the camera, I went on a trip to Hawaii and was super stoked to take some pictures. I didn't know how much I still had to learn until I rode a helicopter and flying over Oahu taking pictures. It was a dumb mistake I made that I put on a manual vintage lens on my a6000. So there I was up in the sky riding a helicopter with no doors snapping pictures as much as I could. Unfortunately, I spent most of the time learning how to focus manually, learning about how to pick the right aperture as the exposure was constantly changing from mountain ranges to coastal scenery. Nothing like learning how to use the camera while your adrenaline is flowing through your body as the helicopter tilts and dives above the beautiful island of Oahu. Luckily, I was able to capture around five decent shots. For those wondering why I was using a manual vintage lens, I was purchasing different lenses off of craigslist as it was my way of learning about how lenses work before I purchase a thousand dollar Sony lens.
r oh crap! Hope you got to enjoy the scenery! Shooting from a helicopter is hard!
@@BeckiandChris I did enjoy it and every now and then I look back at that experience. Here's the best photo I got out of that whole experience. Surprisingly still my favorite picture I've ever taken with my camera even three years after that heli ride. instagram.com/p/_WDxyXFp6w/
This is why I want the peak design travel 45L. I'm constantly dealing with the bag problem. A fully loaded lowepro 450 AND an osprey fairpoint 40 hung on my shoulder is barely working...
❤️🙌🏻
awesome
Полезное видео. Супер!
Tip: If u are looking for a good backpack I would get a Bergaus one they are really good for storage and are really nice
My tip is prioritise your plans and try to realistically estimate your possibilities. By this I mean, if you can’t take a heavy camera with lots of lenses - just don’t! Don’t force yourself, you’ll be annoyed and etc. Just think outside of the box, you’ll find your way.
Do you guys edit your videos on premiere pro? I just have a question about the color grading not exporting. Is there something that I can do to fix that?
Daniel TwoTwo we edit and Color grade in premiere!
You guys probably already know this but in case anyone forgets to bring a SD card reader than one can use Wi-Fi or usb for data transfer (of course one needs to download the proper drivers for your specific computer ,in this case from sony's website)
ARCHISMAN MAJUMDAR yes I tried this and the driver said it needed to be updated by the manufacturer, then I bought a card reader and it kept failing. Just bad luck on this one.
"cheese can be for every meal" is a deep mood
These are great tips!
I had seriously considered filming my up coming Ireland trip, then decided no way.. That's too much stress. I'm sticking to just photography. lol
Jen O'Hogan it’s definitely a lot of work but can be rewarding at the end. A balance for sure!
