Your husband is a gem , ! but Very unChinese to eat in bed !!! Wonderful that you so diligently expose your kids to another culture I think you are a super mum !!
Nice tea ceremony and very sweet of the husband to prepare breakfast in bed. Please do give equal attention to all 3 kids. Noticed the very quiet child at the back. She has been very quiet in all your videos that I've seen, and looked often sidelined. Poor child.
I am going to make a tea ceremony! You know what it is.... I don't know, just eat your breakfast, I have to say that my husband will say the same ☺️. Loved the tea ceremony.
Enjoyed seeing your family have a tea party. The kids are so sweet. I love teas too, no sugar or milk. Mostly honey. I think peanuts and popocorn on your next tea party, for the circus Ha!
The best attire for a tea ceremony is the Hanfu, not the Qipao. The traditional tea ceremony is elaborate and thousands of years old. Tea itself which originated in China has a history of at least 5,000 years. Japan still retains exactly the same details for the traditional tea ceremony as it was done in China thousands of years ago, in the Tang, because the Japanese actually came from China. Well, everything in Japan seems to be frozen in the Tang dynasty and so, the Chinese jokingly say that Japan is a living fossil of the Tang dynasty.
The tea pets are so interesting(and funny). Have they always been part of the Chinese tea culture, or are they part of the modern twist(of the tea culture)?
This was so much fun to watch. Takes me back to when I was a child watching it in movies. I will have to disagree. THIS whole video is 1,000 times better. I think I would like to do this and see how my family reacts🙂
Wow im impressed. I really like your channel buy but haven't watcher in awhile. As a linguistics major i can 100% hear your progress on your speech The sounds you used to produce on your vellum, specifically ai sounds are now almost non existent. The eliminatation is difficult especially when the native language articulates those specific sounds quite often (my daughter speaks mandarin) Congrats on yoiur growth.
Here in Canada, Indigo Books (chain store) has it in stock, and the local independent book store can bring it in for me on request. It's also on Amazon. I'm getting mine from the independent store, but there are options.
I was scrolling to see if someone had the same experience. 😅 Just BGM and noise enhancements. I can hear some really muffled sound that matches with talking at the quieter points in the BGM but cannot make out anything at all from it.
Love ur content ur such a wonderful Blessed Mom love ur family content as well wonderful cooking vids ur FAn fat boy all the way outta ALBUQUERQUE N.M .. hope you have a wonderful Blessed day and a wonderful Blessed New Year......
The times I took part in a traditional tea ceremony, there was always a sort of structure and you couldn’t do anything unless specifically being told to do it. Also, unless your elders and/or superiors drank first, you couldn’t start drinking. So I’m a bit confused on this video, but I don’t know the tradition at heart so I might be wrong here.
I think most of that can be explained by the fact it was mainly a learning experience for the kiddos he was watching. When you're just watching, I'm sure you're not the happiest looking either. Most peoples' resting faces aren't readable as "happy."
@@kimt5694 plus why I got to learn Chinese culture when Chinese don't learn black culture nor they even care about black ppl they hate Black ppl as much as White ppl hate Black ppl
I like that you're teaching your kids your culture! And that your husband is supportive

You're AMAZING! Since I've been cooking from your book, my very picky 5 & 18 year old boys are eating vegetables! A miracle.

Is it just me that at a point of the video only left with bgm till the end and not her voice?

Your husband looks miserable and is glaring at the kids. Jesus
