CRF 1000 DCT tear down inspection modification and maintenance 30 K 

I have begun to tear down the bike, removing all the plastics fairings. I’m doing the steering stem, replacing the bearings on that cleaning everything up, tightening everything pretty much removing all the bolts on stuff and cleaning checking for rust all that kind of stuff some modifications, the rear brake modification and a few other things but basically this is going on the fourth year over 30 K on the bike. It’s time to give it a good tear down.
