Dunno, I'll give you the Deep Accursed and the Sewer Centipede, but the others have a very mediaeval fantasy wormy or fat-bloated vibe rather than a leechy/blood-bloated vibe, or are clearly failed dragons rather than failed Great Ones.
Some of Dark Souls 3 designs look like scrapped Bloodborne designs. Honestly I don't like it, sometimes I feel that visually Dark Souls 3 has more in common with Bloodborne than with Dark Souls 1. Monstrosity of sin is kinda okay, because it has designs inspired with both Manus and DS2 ogres. Ghrus are Bloodbornesque, but they also have roots in Oolacile people and Manus. But Deep Accursed is too much. I'm almost 100% convinced it's just cut BB mob and it wasn't designed specifically for DS, they just pushed it and hoped it will fit into the rest of the game. It doesn't.
A good number of enemies always looked like they were more fit for Bloodborne (at least I think so). Knowing how From reuses assets, they might have been made during Bloodborne's development.
While the grub monsters are certainly gross (and Bloodborne's setting can be pretty gross at times), there isn't really a theme of worms/grubs/leeches or reanimated undead. The rest of the monsters on the list would've easily fit into Bloodborne's setting--especially Monstrosity of Sin and Deep Accursed.
The giants in bloodborne are giant corpses stitched together like Frankenstein's monster, so their are some undead in bloodborne, just not as many as the souls series.
Both were developed side by side. They take inspiration from the same sources and Miyazaki said this too. 225000 SULYVAHN'S BEAST / Thindarosu For example Sulyvahn’s Beast internal name is a reference to Hound of Tindalos a Lovecraft creature. Then you have the film “Brotherhood of the Wolf” can’t get any more obvious. Abyss Watchers are tied by blood but their outfits especially the masks are reminiscent of the movie. I’m impressed they were able to tie that inspiration pretty well back to Artorias.
I feel like a lot of Elden ring enemies would fit perfectly into bloodborne as well. For example: Wormface, Wraith Caller, Revenant, Grafted Scion, Kindred of Rot, Monstrous Crow and Dog, Fingercreeper and the most disturbing similar to existing bloodborne enemy Cemetery Shade. They all feel like bloodborne fit to me. I hope FromSoft will create a game that utilizes all those enemies in a single game at some point. I know lots of them are reused reskin in newer entries but still it is awesome how they can create the horror looking creatures. Ah and I would love to see the manequine spider from Silen Hill movie being utilized in bloodborne where German created the dolls. That is one scary monstrosity right there.
Hope Elden Ring returns with more horror (not that some designs weren't already creepy) designs with Shadow Of The Erdtree. There some potential with Those who live in Death, nd Saint Trina and her weirdly lovecraftian design (a face with one eye and flowying hair similar to tentacles).
#5 are experiments where Pontiff Sulyvahn attempted to perfect turning humans into dragons, akin to Seath the Scaleless' work. #3 and #4 are both products of the Deep, a festering water somewhere within the world that is slowly rising to take over the land. #2 has some pretty heavily speculation about what created them, though they may be related to Manus of the Abyss and the Dark Soul itself. #1 is just maggots creating coalesced forms in some hollows, though because of their location they are probably also from the Deep.

humans in dark souls are cursed to be immortal and will eventually turn hollow and become what is essentially a zombie the corpse grubs feed on the insides of the undead and control the already mindless husks that are hollows. (you'll have to speculate on why they look semi-humanoid) the monstrosities of sin have an eyeball and hand motif similar to a boss from ds1 named Manus. it's possible they're descendants of him. the deep accursed barely has any lore past its name but the name gives us some points to guess. the "deep" part of the name is something vaguely brought up in specifically dark souls 3 having to do with aldritch whose "body" resided in the giant tomb inside the cathedral of the deep guarded by the deacons of the deep. it's possible they're humans that were cursed by the deacons or by Aldrich when he was resurrected as guardian beasts the sewer centipedes were most likely experiments done by pontiff sullyvahn the wretches are failed experiments by oceiros to recreate dragons as they've (mostly) all been killed after seath the scaleless sold them out to gwyn in exchange for knowledge and his own immortality. they were kept alive as laughingstock. and that's all of them o) you should try doing a lore playthrough it's a fascinating world

You didn't include the Lycanthrope?? The one that made me think of Bloodborne the most despite me not playing Bloodborne yet?
It's very similar to Father Gascoigne 3rd stage
@@okpoiiika_b_kopblte_ctaca7084 Hence why I'm baffled they didn't include it. I haven't played Bloodborne but the lycanthropes feel like a Bloodborne tutorial.
You should do this with Elden Ring as well. The bloat head albenorics, cemetery shade, and Wormfaces are pretty freaky.
Удивительно, насколько точно выполнены модели монстров соотносительно артам.
An honourable mention would be the enemies from the Ashes of Ariandel enemy "giant fly". They have no in-game lore, but they are the only enemy in the game that made my skin crawl. The way they hover to you, their warped body and face that implies of them being humans once, and the death sound they make sounds eerily resemble of children. Their lake of rot being right below Friede, and finding Vilhelm's corpse there was enough reason to set the world afire.
Dunno, I'll give you the Deep Accursed and the Sewer Centipede, but the others have a very mediaeval fantasy wormy or fat-bloated vibe rather than a leechy/blood-bloated vibe, or are clearly failed dragons rather than failed Great Ones.
Sulyvahn's beasts are Bloodborne af
Awesome video as usual. What do you use to look at the models like this?
Monstrosity of sin looks the most like Manus’ hand in ds1 that he grabs you with in a couple of the DLC cutscenes
The little skeletons on the spider's back look like the messengers from Bloodborne !
It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if some of these enemies were originally designed for Bloodborne, but didn't make the cut do to time constraints
The giants in bloodborne are giant corpses stitched together like Frankenstein's monster, so their are some undead in bloodborne, just not as many as the souls series.
also the undead workers which are basically just yharnamite reskins
Sewer centipedes giving strong Rumbling vibes with that hair and body shape/ colour
Thank god the Deep Accursed makes that freaky clicking sound! Saved me from a few ambushes 😅
The last one seems to have come out of Spore, even the sounds are similar lol
Now do top 5 enemies in Bloodborne that should have been in Dark souls
The closest one i found is keeper of the lord and church servant
Except for the Monstrosity of Sin every single one of them look like they are from Resident Evil. I wonder if Myazaki is a fan.🤔
I can see the Monstrosity of Sin in Elden Ring as well. Seems like a natural evolution of the Fingercreepers or something like that.
these enemies still terrify me.. after playing it for over 1000 hours..
Sewer centipedes can fuck right off, still gives me ungodly chills whenever I have to fight them
Monstrocity of Sin: Fingercreeper extraordinaire
I just started the ashes of ariandel dlc n those humanoid bird creatures are pretty ghastly lol
The whole lineup of the corvid settlement feels like a Bloodborne area honestly
Those worm creatures remind me of the Uroboros monsters from Resident Evil 5
Both were developed side by side. They take inspiration from the same sources and Miyazaki said this too.
225000 SULYVAHN'S BEAST / Thindarosu
For example Sulyvahn’s Beast internal name is a reference to Hound of Tindalos a Lovecraft creature.
Then you have the film “Brotherhood of the Wolf” can’t get any more obvious. Abyss Watchers are tied by blood but their outfits especially the masks are reminiscent of the movie.
I’m impressed they were able to tie that inspiration pretty well back to Artorias.
I would love to see a monster-pedia in an official dark souls game, then again I love giving the enemies personalized names lol
None of these enemies are as scary as the flies from the first dlc
The maggot infested hollows i always saw as hollows infected with maggots but seeing the run animations i think its more maggot infested corpses.
Video nicely stretched to over 10 minutes long by showing us the game model of Deep Accursed for 3 minutes straight! Well done!
I don't think I could've even worked on the sewer centipede as a FS animator without puking every few minutes
I feel like a lot of Elden ring enemies would fit perfectly into bloodborne as well. For example:
Wormface, Wraith Caller, Revenant, Grafted Scion, Kindred of Rot, Monstrous Crow and Dog, Fingercreeper and the most disturbing similar to existing bloodborne enemy Cemetery Shade.
The monstrosity of sin does have eyes on the inside
From software forever fan
Prithee be careful
The enemies are too weird for even bloodborne except deep accursed.
Nah the weirdness of Bloodborne is still unmatched by any other Fromsoft game
The wrech gives me the creeps. Its like Miyazaki took Smeagol and winged dog, put them in a room together and then they made that.
The Wretch would make a great NPC in bloodborne
The monstrosity of sin scares me, it took 13 hits with my +4 Fume UGS.
you know youve play too many souls games when you see attack animations and you think of when the best time to roll is
2:37 Jazz hands!
Me: Oh that's fucking horrible ...I love it!
Monstrosity of Sin is based on the DS2 Cyclops
How did ANY of these even come to being?!
Seriously
Im not super familiar with DS3 lore...
Reanimated Corpse and Maggot Grub: Fuck-up of the Cathedral of the Deep
Monstrosity of Sin: Fuck-up of the Profaned Flame
Deep Accursed: Fuck-up of the Cathedral of the Deep
Sewer Centipede: Fuck-up of Pontiff Sulyvahn
Wretched: Failed Human-Dragon-Crossing
humans in dark souls are cursed to be immortal and will eventually turn hollow and become what is essentially a zombie
the corpse grubs feed on the insides of the undead and control the already mindless husks that are hollows. (you'll have to speculate on why they look semi-humanoid)
the monstrosities of sin have an eyeball and hand motif similar to a boss from ds1 named Manus. it's possible they're descendants of him.
the deep accursed barely has any lore past its name but the name gives us some points to guess. the "deep" part of the name is something vaguely brought up in specifically dark souls 3 having to do with aldritch whose "body" resided in the giant tomb inside the cathedral of the deep guarded by the deacons of the deep. it's possible they're humans that were cursed by the deacons or by Aldrich when he was resurrected as guardian beasts
the sewer centipedes were most likely experiments done by pontiff sullyvahn
the wretches are failed experiments by oceiros to recreate dragons as they've (mostly) all been killed after seath the scaleless sold them out to gwyn in exchange for knowledge and his own immortality. they were kept alive as laughingstock.
and that's all of them o)
you should try doing a lore playthrough it's a fascinating world
Fromsoft got told to make another Dark Souls so they just took left over ideas from Bloodborne and mashed it into another poison swamp filled "the flame is dying again" story. Lore wise there's even less about them then the usual vague item descriptions, either they are the result of the profaned flame, or the deep. There's not much info on what those are either.
@@Phantom17685 Sewer Centipede is a result of the Profane Flame or Chaos Flame. They are mostly found in the Profane Capital & only appear in the part of Irithyl that is directly connected to the Profane Capital.
Well, surely they granted eyes to the Monstrosity of Sin
Poor wretch, poor little thing
Aww the wretch is just a lil guy
The sewer centipede looks like eren’s founding Titan
Only Deep Accursed, it fits perfectly. I can't see any other of these enemies in Bb
Those wormy guys belong in the Fishing Hamlet.
So much inspiration to draw the world of Bloodborne when your best friend and the father and daughter who run the place were offed by some rando, and you have nothing else to do.
why do i watch this sht while im eating
deep accursed is Paarl beast in bb
Nightmare fuel
is it just me or many of the sound effect just sound like slightly edited engine sounds
me seeing the 1st creature: No thank you :(
I want a Wretch as a pet
The Reanimated Corpse and Corpse Grub for me are the worst enemies, as i have a deep fear of worms and maggots, and so when i first fought them, i was generally horrified...
The Deep Accursed are so damn cool tho!?
I'm fairly conviced some bloodborne cut content was repurposed for DS3
I always knew Sister Friede should have been in bloodborne
Finger horrors from dnd
I genuinely believe most of the enemies/bosses in Dark Souls 3 were just scrapped Bloodborne concepts that the developers didn't want to go to waste
For another name for monstrosity of sin vote:
1. Child of manus
2. Don’yokuna te
3. Weird-ass hand baby
