Sulawesi | A Indonesian Travel Film

- Sulawesi is an island in the north of Indonesia and it is a wonderful destination for leisure/ travel. It is not an island thats is popular yet for tourism and that what makes this island feel authentic. There are many volcanos/ waterfalls/ beaches/ national parks/ different cultures to explore that you can travel for a while before you will have seen it all.
The purpose of this video is to showcase more of this amazing island, so you can get inspired to maybe someday make a travel down here.
Here below I list again all the places me and my mom have visited so you can search them up in case you want more information:

I’m in Cebu City but originally from Mindanao Province of Sarangani.
Just search in google actually Sarangani island-Tahuna island-Manado are potential sea routes for tourism.
Just like Bali-Lombok-Labuanbajo-Kupang routes.
Too bad about situation in South Philipine.

Thank you very much for your wonderful Video. I grew up in Tomohon but migrated to Germany 52 years ago but I still have a malayan house in Tomohon, with a view of Mt Lokon and Mt Mahawu and also not far from the Lake Linow

Next time come visit and add the natural and least discovered area of Central Sulawesi with rugged mountains, megalith stones in Bada valley, crystal clear lake Poso, 12 step Saluopa waterfall and gorgeous Togian islands.

If you want to see the beauty of the world, just come to Indonesia, because everything is in Indonesia. starting from the sea and underwater views and all kinds of fish. then the mountains and Mount Merapi. then the forest with its wildlife. then the lake and waterfall. and the people, from black to brown to white, are all there and also hundreds of types of culture from each tribe. The oldest human fossils in the world also come from Indonesia, namely Pithecanthropus erectus and Homo Soloensis. What's less...😁😁😁

I think i took about 3 weeks to travel to all these places. And the pace was not even that fast. Sulawesi also has the togian islands in the middle, if you go there as well I think a month should be good :)

Tondano is not 2nd big lake in Indonesia. the 2nd big lake in Indonesia is tempe lake in south Sulawesi and 3rd big lake is poso lake in central sulawesi.
Oh to my knowledge it was the 2nd biggest. I will look it up, thank you for mentioning this!
@@visualvibrance4234 Sulawesi is big, for example if you visit central sulawesi there are not just megalitikum in Bada and bosowa valley, there is another island namely banggai with beautiful place and culture with also with beautiful place to visit. Poso lake the only tectonic lake that similar if you see the sea. so many cave in there also ancient coffin under the stone along poso lake. but i not easy to fine unless you fine local people there to show you. you can also dive there.

Where in Molino can I see the rice fields?
You have a pretty good view from Rumah Kurcaci D'sawa. They have nice little houses and a tasty restaurant. along that road are more spots to view the rice fields!
this still not all sulawesi, here just north sulawesi maybe Gorontalo also and south sulawesi. still there are central sulawesi, south east sulawesi, and west sulawesi.
You are right, it is only a small portion, i had 2,5 weeks. I will be back to see more!

Sulawesi,s countryside and jungles are so dangerous because pythons snakes live over there.few days ago a woman was swallowed by a 32 feet long python in Sulawesi.Similar incidents happened in Sulawesi few weeks ago.its a dangerous place.
I did not encounter any dangerous situations over there luckily. Not saying there is no danger but using your head and listening to the locals goes a long way!
