Jason Becker has inspired so many of us and in my opinion, is definitely one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Kiesel is also donating $100 for every guitar sold to Jason's family to help with his ongoing medical expenses so spread the word. These guitar are nothing short of perfection.

Locking tuners - despite the internet's insistance otherwise - are not about tuning stability. What they assist is string changes... because it's a hell of a lot faster than winding around the peg a few times. So you if break strings, or if you're like me and keep changing gauges, or you just love having fresh strings every few days, they're a god-send. The biggest killer of tuning stability is binding at the nut, and locking tuners don''t fix that. The Floyd Rose does. Sure a Floyd rose, you aren't going to be mucking around with gauges unless you also want to be mucking about with Spring clamp screws, but its still a lot faster to change strings with the locking tuners, even with the extra steps of loosening and tightening the nut.

My grandpa just got one of these red with a reverse headstock. As the person who tuned it up for him and "tested" it first. It's a great guitar.

Nice piece! I love Seymour duncan pick ups those sound great. The locking tuner's add extra stability to the string on the other side of the locking nut. They prevent accidental turning of the tuning keys which loosens the string on the backside of the locking nut. I think I want one.

Would they allow you to put the Carvin logo instead of the Keisel? Just to keep that original look?
Nope, can't make that change.
To gain more sub, I think you should be specific about the "models" of the hardware especially the pickups, pots, bridge and caps so that the viewers won't have to browse the internet about this guitar. Extra details like neck shape from 1st fret and 12th, scale length and maybe include the inlay material.
Perhaps watch more of the video. Most of these were talked about or explained and why they can't be changed with a link to the website.
Ordered two of these and the string alignment was way off at the 24th fret

How would you compare this to your EBMM Sabre?
The sabre is in a league of its own really.... it has custom pickups that give it a very hot unique tone. Those 2 guitars are really quite different to compare.
I've had 4 Carvin guitars 3 were awesome 1 sucked. I think Kiesel absorbed Carvin and their out of business. But all but obe of my gutiars have M22 Neck pickups and M22SD Bridge pickups. EXCELLENT VIDEO.

If you mean the "blemish" he showed, that just looks like a natural dark spot on the wood, may be a tiny sap pocket. As rare as Swamp Ash is becoming, pieces that aren't 100% clear are more likely to be sourced.

How does the balance feel? Not sure how weight those tuners ad… which I agree are kind of silly…they look cool though.
not to sound too much like a Kiesel fanboy, this guitar feels great all around. Sitting, Standing...traditional style with the guitar between your legs... Kiesel guitars really are top notch with quality.
