The truth is, we have a lot of dumb fans that think running r Quarter backs is the way to go when it's been proven in history. That pocket passers have won super bowls.
“We” have even dumber fans who can’t even see the Rams followed this exact path with Goff. And ended up trading for Stafford because it was such a mistake.
The lions built this system around Goff. I’ll take a system QB who’s in the right system and wins games any day over these other guys. And people also gotta remember the best ability is availability and Goff doesn’t get hurt.
Goff is The Best at play action ,when we finally have running backs that scare opponents. It's not just the Dline and middle LB that has to worry about a hand off, but the CBs and Safeties too.
System QB,but. A very good one. If you have a QB that isn't scared to run the play that is called, but smart enough to read coverage and know when to switch the play to one that works. Goff sitting in the pocket helps the Online block better and eliminate holds.
1.5 above average seasons in Detroit and yall act like people were insane for ever questioning the guy.

Lamar isn’t better then Goff. What makes him better? That he can run? That’s all he can do. Take the running game away from Lamar and he is just an above average qb. Lamar only won that 2nd MVP because all the dick riders. Just like all the Stafford dick riders wanting a tribute video.

What people get their panties in a twist about is that Jared Goff isn’t a gunslinger like Matthew Stafford or Brett Favre.
