Maro is a single performer, the other girls are back up singers. Her real name is Mariana Secca and actually the family name is Italian. She plays, composes and also sing, Maro is a real musician, she's does it all. I recommend you to see her CZcams channel, there are several wonderful duets, that she loves, just wonderful stuff! She is supported by a group of female singers made up of some of the most famous Catalan vocalists alongside the cream of the next generation singers/writers/musicians. While other songs are predictable in the concept of the contest, with great interpretations of course, but full of fireworks, lots of screams and even in some of them, the sexualization in the lyrics as in the presentations is more evident than the quality of the music itself... Maro... proposes the opposite... It is introspective and minimalist, appealing to the most basic and primordial human emotions... Hi guys. I'm a portuguese trying to explain what saudade means. Saudade is one of the most complicated words to translate. Saudade means a sence of longing for something, missing someone in a dead level, with a lot of nostalgia. Missing someone you really love deeply or longing for something or someone that is no longer in you life. Or some place you loved. It's mutch more that just missing something and someone. It's a stronger feeling.
