- "Windy City LIVE" co-host Ryan Chiaverini always asks Jo Koy about his wife when he's on the show. There's just one problem: The comedian's divorced. But he and ex Angie King remain super friendly - so friendly, in fact, that she's living in his guest house during the pandemic! He FaceTimed her and told her to come jump into the live TV interview. The pair joked about their split and said they've remained close because of their son.

Jo Koy's "We are not married!" reminds me of "WE WERE ON A BREAK!!"
This is what emotional maturity looks like. Bravo, joe koy and Angie king!
@leon noel emotional maturity is recognizing what can and can't work in certain situations, having self-respect and respect for others
Jo has such great relationships with tv hosts. I’ve never seen this kind of close casual fun relationship between a star and a daily show.
It's like friends teasing each other. Lmao.
Spot on !! Just because you are divorced you shouldn’t be evil towards each other. Especially, if you have kids it’s important for the kids to see the parents are civil. That’s my personal experience.
It's definitely a better environment for the child.
I know right, self consumed parents haven't considered their child(ren) mental well-being, if not during adolescence years for their kids, it'll utterly bite them back as they're aging golden years. And they're be wondering where did they done wrong to have ungrateful grown kids, or distancing away from them from their kids - if the kids wants to keep it civil boundaries and keep the peace from all the how the evil parental alienating tactics one another even if they take turns of visitation parenting care, but still feuding over their differences instead of co parenting their kids in a healthy civil divorce.
I been friend with my ex and his wife to this day. My ex husband is better as a friend than when he was a husband to me.
AND SHE IS VERY BEAUTIFUL!!
Lol. HES NOT MARRIED!
Proud to say this is the exact relationship I have with my ex husband. He’s my best friend and we rock at being co-parents. Our son is so happy for it. Sometimes things doesn’t work out but you can rise above and remember what matters.
@Contemporary Controversy I don't think so, being together 24/7 will ruin it.
@Contemporary Controversy oh but your reply is 1 month late
EXACTLY. This is why divorce is sometimes the reason why your family is whole.
@Contemporary Controversy still, it's 2 months late. I think I will get a reply after 4 months because you are right.
@Contemporary Controversy don’t matter if you asked them or not. It’s a public comment you made, therefore anyone can respond. And no, you don’t need to be with your best friend just because movies say so. Completely different dynamic in adult relationships. The respect was there. But Both May had different “needs” hopefully you’re old enough to understand that part.
From this, we can tell that Jo’s love language is “gifts”. People often think that’s superficial, but Jo summed it up really well: it signifies that someone listens to you and was thinking about you in that moment ♥️
@h34dbugyes, that’s what I said...
Exactly!! He explained what that love language is spot on.
My husband is like this..😍 can’t complain
The love language of gifts is actually not superficial because what makes it a language is not the gift itself but the thought behind it.
The LISTENING is the biggest part of that whole deal. Meeting my ex-hubs years ago we somehow got onto the topic of flowers. I said I had never been a fan of the traditional fancy red roses because they were pricy, usually bred to be buds and never bloom, die so quickly and because they didn't bloom never even smelled like much. His first gift to me at my office (lucky me I got to show off), a beautiful bouquet of peach and blush and yellow BLOOMING roses. ❤ I tell ya...it's the LISTENING.
Jo's teeth brighter than my future. Is that why the ex was wearing sunglasses? 😂
😂😂😂
I’m dead lol 💀😂😂😂
Oo ata hahahaha
LOLOL
😂😂😂😂
I love Jo and this is the most peaceful comment section I have ever seen.
Thanks for keeping up the good vibes
I tried to ruin it sorry😔
I love this so much. One of my favorite memories after my parents got divorced was this one Christmas where my dad and my stepmother came over to my mom’s house and we had Christmas together. It was so nice having my WHOLE family together.
one of my step moms was prepared to hate my mom until after Thanksgiving dinner. When her and my dad moved back to England she wrote my mom the sweetest letter
Just asked my husband, “what is your deal breaker?” His answer is, “if it is not a Tien, which is me, it is a deal breaker” awe.....
AWH 😭😭
This made me love jokoy even more...
I was acquainted with Angie many years ago. Not friends by any means, but I can say she is a beautiful soul…she radiates kindness and warmth, but she is also SO cool but in a non-pretentious way. Her relationship with their son is amazing. Easy to see how these two awesome people remain great friends and co-parents.
I love it when Jo keeps yelling at Ryan, “ I’m not married!”! By the end of the video, Jo tells Ryan, “You’re so dumb!”. 😅😂🤣
I love his energy his smile is infectious.
They get along better than any exes I know and seem happier together than 80% of couples who are actually married.
@leon noel damn right.......if they get along why divorce in the first place......
Well said.
Oh my gosh!! This interview was everything!!! I love how everyone was joking about it and very good sports!! My favorite parts “tell us the tea!”, “baby daddy”, “what about when they see your face on the bus outside”. 😂😂 I can watch you all all the time!!
Omg! That’s how my husband’s ex-wife & I are. In fact when I first met him he told me about his 3 children & how he was friends with his ex. It was me who said they were there 1st and I wasn’t there to take it away. Then we had 2 wonderful sons of our own. She welcomed them with open arms. Love you you both!
I'm still good friends with my ex and it kind of shocks me that people don't seem to grasp this is a possibility.
Guess they aren't mature enough. :)
Because it doesn't make sense. Why would you broke up with her, if you could still be at good terms?
@@javier.alvarez764 I didn’t break up with her. It was a mutual agreement and amicable breakup. People can work as friends but not necessarily as lovers or in a serious relationship. Also, you’re putting a negative connotation on “ex”.
It may not make sense to you but apparently it makes sense to Jo Koy and 17 other people so far. 🤷♂️
@@javier.alvarez764 some is due tonlong distance and it became painful. There will always be something, butbypu dont have tonpay attention to it. It's history. You guys were friends before you guys were even a thing. Also, time heals, it's been forgiven. Unless he was a wife beater or whatever. Thats something else.
Saaaame, i still talk to my ex from time to time. He recently got into a new relationship, I messaged him to tell him that I was really happy for him and he deserve that happiness he's experiencing right now. And I know we will always remain as good friends no matter what.
i just love how jokoy responds to those questions.. those are personal questions but i watched it while a smile in my face because jokoy handles it in a funny way! if its any other famous people like an actor getting personal interviewed it could have been scandalous!
I love how Jo & his ex-wife are able to co-parent.
Wow his ex wife is so pretty!! They both a good parents to their son !! That's what suppose to be when you are divorced! Not killing each other after the divorce hahaha.
Tell that to the women
@@mrg6159 hate to break it to you but it's a 2-way street mate.
I was laughing so much!!!! I needed this so bad!!!! Love, love, love Jo Koy!!!!!
That's very cool, I'm glad to see at least SOME parents can put previous differences aside to co-parent their kids. That shows a healthy respect for each other.
“If we hated our son this wouldn’t have happened” 😂😂😂
💀💀💀🤣
OMG such good vibes, thank you guys. You're all amazing. Love Jokoy
My ex and I have the same kind of relationship. After 10 years of marriage, we divorced and 3 years after the divorce, we decided to move in together to give our daughter more stability. He finally moved into his own apartment in June 2020. We’re best friends and we consider each other “Family.” Jo and Angie are fortunate. Their son even more so.
Q
JOKOY hits the funny bone in me, watch all his stand ups, love this dude.. 😁
I can't get enough of jo koy!!! I need to watch him every morning to wake myself up.
This was just hilarious. Love Jo Koy. His parting comment - “you’re so dumb” - to the host just sends me
His ex-wife is beautiful especially when she smiles 😍
@Hector Rosario What???
No.
Byeeeeeeee👋👋👋
@Hector Rosario Want to be the next big Ed?
Yes, we grew up together and she's very sweet as well. Beautiful singing voice
I think I know why she divorced Jo Koy. She doesn’t want to be known as Mrs. Angelica King Koy.
Good one. 🤣
Ha,hahhh!
Lol
Right in the spot !
🤣😂🤣
"We're NOT married!" 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂 This has to be one of the funniest interviews I've seen.
I love how in unity this comment section is, there’s no fighting or disrespectful comments. I think this is like the only video on CZcams that has comments like these, I’m here for it.
Thanks for making us laugh and smile! You are such a wonderful group of people. This was fun to watch! Love you Jo Koy!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is just the most hilarious interview! I love it! 🥰
Love Jo Koy♥️
“I’m not married!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jo-Koy Rocks! Great Parents!!
So funny and cute Jo just yelling "Come here Come here!" at his phone...and then there she is.
Just ordered Carla and Joe’s books! Great segment.
I'm glad this was in my recs.
I love both my parents (dad now deceased) and before they divorced, I once told my mom "sometimes people are better off separated"
A few years after they divorced they were good friends, hanging out, mom and his girlfriend still check up on each other still.
I thoroughly enjoyed that interview 😊. 😇✌️❤️🍷
What a great interview ✨👏
Omg… I love this interview. It’s sweet
Nah Jokoy and Anj you cant fool us. You two are still messing with each other lmaooo 😝
Ex-wife with benefits 😅
Omg, I wish the best for Jo Koy. But Chelsea's sadness because of their recent breakup breaks my heart, too. But look at Jo with his ex-wife, there is still so much chemistry and love between them.
LOL. the comedy fu of JoKoy is so strong. Its infectious.
Glad to seeMs. Carla on the show I love her Cooking ingenuity at the Master's Chef comp.

This was the most hilarious interview 😂😂😂
Love this interview!!! 🤣🤣🤣♥️♥️♥️ Hilarious!
This interview is hilarious 🤣 😆
Fun to watch :)
Thanks Jo Koy :)
I’m confident my daughters mom and I can be like this. It’s gonna take some forgiveness and effort on both of our parts but I’m grateful that she really is a very good mother and very good person who is very strong. Will always have her back.
Survival of the family, depends on the HAPPINESS of the couple - Mr. & Mrs. Koy = you rock!
This was Gold
Hilarious!! “I’m not MARRIED!!!” 🤣😂
Oh i laughed sooo much, "I'M NOT MARRIED!" 😂😂😂 I can never get enough of Jo-Sep 😂😂😂
THANK YOU I ENJOY TO WATCH JO KOY AND EX WIFE ESPECIALLY THE SHOW FANTASTIC❤️🥰😂🤣
Omg they are so cute. I have a new found respect for Jo Koy. lol
Both of them are great!!! What a sweet lady too.
4:00 thank you for asking that question
Great interview 😆😂
Hahaha i love this interview, cant stop laughing at Jokoy lol
Thanks!!
Divorce works for them because he makes enough money to support himself and give her a lavish lifestyle at the same time. End of the day he pays for a good relationship
Hell yea lmao I’d be happy and get along with my rich ex as well. No doubt about it!
How do you know? Are you friends with them?
That's hilariously naive! Mackenzie Scott is the richest woman on the planet, and I suspect you're not going to see her chilling with ex-husband Jeff Bezos. It depends on what happened, regardless of money.
Its so true. She sticks around him because he supports himself and ger
@@epbrown01 the fact that she is rich just blows your opinion clear out of the water!!
I got to hang out with Joe once. Me and some friends who make music met him through a friend and he was super funny and generous, bought us dinner and drove us around in his Tesla. He’s just as cool in person!
This is so fun to watch.
Love JOKOY!!! He’s one of my Favorite Comedian’s❤ !!!!
My Dad’s ex is good friends with my Mom, And I’m best friends with my half-sister ever since we were kids. It’s not weird at all.
Love it! My Ex-Husband and I since Easter 2020 live together, co-parenting, and we have four children ages 20, 16, 15 and 9 under one roof, happily, so I get it too. 😁
Praying for those two. Praying God will save the whole family
I LOVE Jo Koy! I cringe at some of his "jokes", though, but that aside, the more I learn about him, thus far, the more I love him. I love how his mind works, and obviously, his sense of humor. This sends me over the top, with his attitude towards his family. He plays, like my son, and he's just so real! I really would love for them to publish a book on the nitty gritty of co parenting, with the child in mind. I already have a title for it: "I didn't ask to come here!" It hit me when Jo said, "you have a responsibility to co-parent" and another statement, "And the kid is so happy because of it!" Think of all the people, both parents and children, that could benefit from their perspectives and outcomes, when it comes to the children. They are the future. We owe it to our children, and ulitmately to ourselves; to raise happy, well balanced, compassionate, and intelligent human beings. Like it or not, our generation will go, like all others before us have. You've got to wonder what your presence in the world did to it.
Get some money and get yourself some Jo Koy teeth
Omg you guys are so fun!!!!
ooohh this was soo good and guess what I am getting the books
I love this guy Jo Koy!!!
My husband and I are friends with his ex wife and it's good for their, our son.
That’s awesome !
It also means the kid gets three parents! Lucky him!
@@MS-dh9gh Exactly
Jo is aging like a fine wine
Remove the bottle 😆
He’s amazing JoKoy is so awesome
Jo Koy ❤️so hilarious 🤣
Jo Koy is so cool!
Try telling everyone you’re dating, “Now I just want to let you know, you’ll never, ever, ever be my best friend, because my ex already has that spot and will never be replaced.” Yeah, good luck with that!
I agree with Jo. My Ex husband and I were horrible at marriage but are the best of friends
You guys are so hilarious 😅
This interview is hilarious and very natural.
Thanks! It's always a great time having Jo on our show 😂
Here here... I love interviews like this, so natural. Great people!
Sana all ❣️
Thank you my Dear
Jokoy and his ex deserve a reality 24/7 tv / netflix show 😊🇵🇭
Call it... "I'm not Married".
Fun conversation always with the gang
Our home: myself (mom), daughter, dad, and my BF of 5 years. We coparent and all live in the same home for years now. Me and the ex have our tough days of getting on one another’s nerves, sure, but ultimately you make it work for your child’s well being. Emotional maturity can be challenging, but it is a must. I came from a broken home and the effects of how my parents spoke ill of one another (indirectly & sometimes very directly to me ((“you’re just like your dad” or “I hated when your father did xyz/thing that I did)) left it’s mark on my psyche.
The guys are better buddies than my ex and I even are. My 14 yr old gets to have healthy, stable relationships with both parents. And, we all contribute to our household in varying ways.
If you come from a divorced/ugly split family, you forever feel it in your heart and psyche. At the very least (unsolicited advice time), do not talk ill of the other parent to/around your child. Children internalize criticisms of a parent, as criticism of the child, because they are after all- half you and half the other parent. Kids need to be kids and not feel the toll of adult complications til they’re experiencing adulthood for themselves.
Jo Koy really love his Family
Love how you love your kid so much and co parent together 💖💖💖💖💖
Wow! The ex-wife is so gorgeous.😮 😎
😂😂😂 im jst smiling the whole time.. 🥰
They are hilarious.
That's the decent, adult behaviour to have at the end of a romantic relationship. Love you Mr Koy 💜
Gosh what a great thing!!!
Same here. We are still friends with the father of my son.
