Same thought man.. I am a german main and used to be a Wehraboo, but i cured my skill issue.
If the repair costs we're removed everyone would have consistent line ups, and most of the battles would be HUGE in time, this would make it more fun since you would not be afraid to spawn in a vehicle after dying because of the repair costs.

No the thing is while the Jumbo for example is very good the USA gets one such good vehicle that cant even pen the Panther or Tiger reliably but Germany gets like 5 Panthers and Tigers so if you die in your Jumbo you have to respawn in a worse tank like the 76mm Shermans and German players just respawn in the same vehicle 3 times that is the same Br. At higher Br's I think germany is fine but than you got Russia with its 7 million T72 copies and T80s.
EDIT: Oh yeah forgot to say that Panthers most of the time have a lower repair cost than Shermans.
Remember people: an argument "complaining about the repair costs is a skill issue" is irrelevant. For every single player who did 3 kills in a single life, there are 3 players who usually didn't get to score a kill themselves, thus losing lions on repairs. The repair costs are there just to force players to play either with premium account or premium vehicles, and either way those costs punish players for playing the game at all, which is outright ridiculous.
even in air battles it's bad, i recently baught my first jet the vautour IIB it costs 14k sl to repair and bombing a single base gives you 2.8k meaning that you need to bomb 5 bases just for the repair not counting the bombs
true..sometimes, if i do too well..i feel guilty the other side seeing 0 kills.
@@redwarrior69340 Oh, Air RB it's WAY worse. In tank RB at least you could sit back and camp if all hell broke loose and everything is against you. Push come to shove just play SPAA and stay at spawn. In Air RB you either get load of kills or none. Not to mention each jet will mostly set you back at 10k SL (Usually more when spaded) to repair. Ammunition cost not included.
The only good thing ever come out of their "fixes" was that they reduce the price of late Korean war jet to Falklands war era jet by bit. Only to release 3rd gen Jet with a million SL price tag. So it's still shit.
Everyone her complaining bout god stuff costing 10 k, type 93 costs allmost 12k to repair

As a German main, I'd prefer the StuG IV because StuG are great
I've been asking for the StuG IV since at least 2016. It's pretty much the StuG III but a tiny bit better, more StuGs are always great but tbh, I am happy about the VK as well
bruh. stug is garbage compared to the jagpanther or panzer 40/70.
Not to trash the stug completely, but those TDs are just better at their own BR compared to the stug.
(I'm saying Jagpanther and panzer 40/70 are better than stug at their own BR versus how the stug is at it's BR. Stug has so many weakspots)

Yeah, nah, I'm the one suffering here because The Panthers i encounter are beasts.
you have to shoot them from the side to pen them, but to get beside them you will most likely die
First method:

Second method:

Panthers rarely get downtiered. And I really mean it rarely. We usually meet tanks like IS-2 which can pen you anywhere
people crying about the tank with probably the most exposed gunner inside an enclosed turret at the BR, and one of , if not THE worst side armor for its class and BR too

@@DirtL dawg this was before the dev server. This was suspected to be a 4.7 vehicle so yes I'm wrong here. And this is not a M18 equivalent lmao it has armor on par with a T-34 with better crew spacing and survivability, also smoke grenades, cry about it.

German arcade main, the pain isn't your tank, its enemy Shermans, which don't have the (76) W part of the name, yakow the part that determines if they're a threat or not, announced unless you are right next to them, also the flak37 halftrack is at 4.7 in arcade and 4.0 in realistic for some reason
You forgot the Flakpanzer 341! That is on a Panther chassis!
2 are premiums on other tech trees, 1 is removed, 1 you have to buy with irl money. Both Jagdpanthers are Casemate Tank Destroyers, and the new one you have to grind for.
So there's really 4 panthers from 5.3 to 6.0, with no medium after that until the M48A2C at 7.0.
So Germany doesn't really suffer, but it also doesn't have a thousand Panthers
It is enough for such a good tank
Then we also have the shermans
and ussr "only" has 4 top tier mbt's, 4 is a large number when talking about things like this

The panther is not really fun anymore after the panther D because all the other tank can out maneuver you in CQB get faster have more penetration and ultimately the panther is just a Quick straight line heavy tank with stupid thin side armor

well it actually makes sense to add the prototype of the panther, after all there is a big BR gap between panzer IV H and Panther D, same with Tiger line, you go from Panzer 3 M to Panzer VI tiger. a Prototype tiger could be very interesting on that line as well. it may explain why some german mains (mostly tigers) are so fking dumb, lots of them jump from 3.0 to 5.3..

Probably my biggest regret in War Thunder is that I didn't play when you could get the Ersatz M10

Erzast Panther with better angles armor and no cupola at 5.7 still is the epitomy of premium bullshit bias
The panthers cupola is the same thickness as the turret face so it’s not really a weakspot and the ersatz only has different angles for the very thin appliqué armor

Yeah but it was an event vehicle from like 4 years ago, so nobody has it. When you find somebody with an Ersatz, you die. Because they have had that thing for years, and all the experience to go with it. It’s like the Heavy tank No.6 for Japan. It was a pack you buy to get early access to the Japan ground tree, so no one has it.
