"After an extensive coaching search, we are pleased to announce our new head coach. Gregg Berhaulter."
100% until they sign someone else, this is always the most likely outcome lol.
“We are pleased to announce Greg Berhalter’s promotion to President of the USSF.”
OMG NO!! 😫😫😫
Plot twist: It's a different guy with the same name. And he's the next Jose Mourinho
Watch Maqwell come out of the woodwork for his next video.
I think he is still in Germany for the Euros. Can't wait for the 30 minute long video though
Bros gonna have a seizure of excitement (until you mention san marino 2)
What is maqwell? Is that a wood treatment they use in Europe? Is it non-toxic?
@@alexanderliu9376I think he’ll have to wait a while though

I hear that this one dude named Zealand is gonna take over.
Heard he took a couple European teams from the fourth tier to the first.
Sounds like he's gonna be a great manager.
@@TheAuthorizedJay I heard that that guy is on the run though. He is evading authorities, to not take over. Maybe he is afraid of the wrath of the Reynas or something

Bregg Gerhalter announced as the coach after a year long coaching search
You could offer the American Virgin islands to Jürgen Klopp, that has the ring of an ancient Aztec ritual sacrifice
Or just make the CIA do another coup and gift the country to Klopp.

A monkey’s paw deal since the player pool isn’t set up to run a Gengenpress
After a 3 month search, the US soccer federation is pleased to announce the next head coach of the national team. Please welcome Bregg Gerhalter
GET BILL BELICHICK, HIS CV SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!!
Soccer could actually learn a thing or two from NFL play design. Setting screens is OP and will take soccer by storm when they figure it out
@ninjalectualx Were already seeing it in set pieces.
I imagine at some point though there will be new rules to combat it.
@@ninjalectualxsetting screens is illegal 😂
@@bender040no?? The player runs into the screen setter how is that illegal
@jomama4237 I think you guys are talking more about basketball than football. On a football screen the blocker is allowed to move while blocking instead of being stationary.
Ladies and gentlemen, we got him
I find it absolutely ludicrous that someone with that hairline was not alive for USA '94 and the fabulous Diana Ross moment!
Titles are getting life changingly good
The sad part of this is I am expecting a 6 month search for the right guy, and somehow Berhalter will be the coach again. That is how little confidence i have in the US Soccer Federation.
Nobody any good is going to want to try to whip this team into shape in the short time until 2026, especially with no competitive qualifiers - just friendlies.
As someone from a country that's had a permanent loop of the same 3 or 4 managers (some of which are a shock to still be alive when their turn in the loop comes up) over the last 20 or 30 years I'd say don't write the man off too soon. 😉
PS. There's a slightly bruised Koeman we can lend you for a while, while we plug in the reanimation cables for Advocaat or Hiddink or whoever's next and/or still alive.
My commiserations on last night, bramharms. I`m pleased we won, but Netherlands are always my second choice of preferred winners, and you`ve had some superb teams down the years.
Had the Harry Kane penalty not been given, and I don`t think it should have been, it might have ended differently. It was a mostly honest, close, game.
Thank you!!! to our Canadian brothers for making this happen 🇺🇸💕🇨🇦
Klopp has his choice of jobs so why on Earth would he come to the USMNT.
and he's taking a break, probably for minimum a year
💰💰💰 sacks of USD
Because he has always been a smart businessman and there is no better place for business than the US If you consider scale
@@CeBePuH I'm sure he has plenty of sacks already and doesn't seem to be one to keep score that way.

Unless england wins the euros
klopp being the USMNT would be fire tho 🔥🔥🔥
Eh he said he wants a break from coaching in general
Klopp is the next Germany manager..
Still can't believe the US didn't hire Jesse Marsh. Like he was unemployed and available, yet now it's too late. Sure maybe it wouldn't have worked out who knows, but seeing what he did as Canada manager, definitely better upside than gregg berhalter
They also passed on Bielsa because he didn't speak English. Which would be understandable for anyone else. But Bielsa won the Premier League with fucking Leicester City and he can't speak English. If you can do that with that team, who cares what language you speak. We need someone who knows how to win

Plot Twist: Zee isn't on the run... He is undercover to "bring" Klopp to the United States 😂😅
David Wagner is out of work at the moment- played for USMNT, worked wonders at Dortmund B and Huddersfield Town... Schalke and YBB, not so much
Yeah he did very well at my hometown club, Huddersfield.
Wagner getting Huddersfield promoted to the prem was impressive, but keeping them up there for even one season was miraculous. Their squad was easily the worst I've ever seen in the prem.
he had 1 good half-season at Schalke to be fair

More realistic and better fitting dream hire is Mauricio Pochetino

@Zealandism I love your enthusiasm. Here's my question. Have you at looked who the American's could meet if they get out of their group in 2026?
Mexico will be in Group A1, Canada will be in Group B1, and no I don't understand why they're grouped that way outside of someone wants each of them to finish as the Runner Up of their group, which might? happen, leading them to meet in Inglewood California in the first of the Round of 32 match. I understand, Canada got to the Semis in Copa, by in a large part not losing in the group games, and beating Peru, while Mexico will be in front of their fans for their group games, and be spurred on. They advanced in past World Cups by seemingly surprising their opponents, like in 2014 when they drew Brazil 0-0, after shutting out Cameroon. If this scenario doesn't play out, but the US wins their group, they might meet a third place Canada from their group, unless that's not allowed as there's four other possible non-concacaf teams that could end up playing against the USA group leader instead.
This of course would be in Santa Clara on July 1st, AKA Canada Day, and so perhaps you don't want Canada to be your opponent, I'm unsure.
Now, either of these two possible matches would be in the round of 32, still two more rounds to the Quarterfinals. I doubt they'll call it the Pre-Pre Quarterfinals.
I'm not sure how "permanent" these matches are, but I found it interesting that there's no possibility of the US and Mexico meeting in the Round of 32.
I thought it would have been fun to have four gold balls, with Canada, Etats Unis, and Mexico, (Alphabetized) and Pot 1A, and the options to be drawn into Group A, F, G, and L, perhaps starting with L, and if 1A is drawn a different coloured ball from Pot 1A. I thought that might be well, different.
The thing is, this is a small group of three, next time, 2030, it might be up to six! 🤣
Food for thought I hope. Thanks for reading. 🙂
Now hear me out, what about Graham Potter? He may not be the top managers Americans want, but he did a fantastic job at Brighton developing young players and playing good football, sure, his stint at Chelsea was a mess but honestly he took over a team in transition in ownership and he had to work not only on his team but also his staff, I really think he could do a decent job at the USMNT
Was Marcelo Gallardo in one of those "possible coach" lists? Guy seems to be everywhere when there's a spot
lock the door and destroy the key, this crook coach must never return.
Oh wow new location alert! Or is it the same place?
Youse need to find the American Ange Postecoglou, and you need to treat them right
We could’ve just hired Ange if the coaching search was serious last time.
Right now Pochetino to me seems like the ideal hire for this team given where they are at right now.
I feel like a parent who doesn’t care about their kids hobby but still supports them, like I don’t care who coaches the USMNT but seeing Z happy makes me happy.

4th date for your Mount Rushmore should be 31/10/41 - date Mount Rushmore “completed”
It's time to rehire Berthalter
This is a federal holiday!
It might not matter. Wait for the appointment
It's still a way to high expectation to reach the semifinal or the quarter final in the world cup. You got a team that is somewhere around the 12th an 25th best team in the world maybe. So reaching the round of 16 is a good result. You would need much luck to go further in the WC. Especially because you now have to win one knock out round to go to it.
Make this a national holiday
Its Klopp time!
who am i kidding 😂😂😂😂
What the US need is an Argentinian coach with experience in young development, like Bocha Batista, Marcelo Bielsa, José Pekerman, Hernan Crespo... i mean a Menotti school kind of coach.
I feel like Klopp would be more partial to Wisconsin
Canada is celebrating a semifinal appearance in our first ever Copa, after our new manager had less than a month to prepare… the US is celebrating finally getting of their pathetic manager after seeing no progress in five years and getting grouped vs Panama and Bolivia at home… we are not the same…
I can’t remember a time where the USA had so many players who were impact players on major European clubs playing at the same time. And they still managed to look listless and regressive under Berhalter. Against any actual non-Mexican competition, the team looked like it was just trying to score a surprise goal that would steal them a 1-0 win.
November 6th, 1869 was the first organized American Football game btw
July 4th, 1776, November 6th, 1869, and July 10th, 2024
I was convinced Berhalter had a lifetime appointment and full immunity for all official acts. Truly shocking.
Could anyone check if Otto Rehhagel still got any pulse? Guy won the Euros with Greece, might be good for a WC with the US.
Highest win rate of any us coach in history btw
Z on the run from USSF
i would find it so funny if USA gets "Joachim Löw" xD
Scally and Gio are also really close friends. Makes sense that those two would be on the same page about GGG
Scally hated GGG's 150 page powerpoints on tactics more than not getting playing time
