      I'll be honest, if you point a gun at my head and tell me to tell the difference between a Chinese, Japanese, or Korean woman, I'd just tell ya to pull the trigger. But I'm not racist towards Asians or anything, I think this way of all races. Really, about all I could tell you about someone's race is their skin color and the shape of their eyes. Ask me to go anywhere beyond that, and I could not tell you.

      My sister commented that she thought it was racist that the character Lily from Modern Family, who is of Vietnamese descent, was played by an actress of Korean descent. I had to laugh. I asked if she thought it would be racist if an actor of Greek descent played a character of Irish descent. I’m sure her response was insightful and compelling, but I had stopped listening.
      BTW, we are both white liberals.

Similarly, his fiancée Scarlett Johansson said her infamous quote about being able to play a tree if she wants four months after this skit aired. They’re definitely on the same page about that

    oH, how I loved how Idris Elba got into his character! His facial expressions were so engaging. I really liked the commitment to this piece. So funny, especially with the buzzer pushing into more and deeper frustration.
