You are a pro! You took the old radio out and put the new one in less than 30 minutes. Just a beautiful new player unit. I wish you would work on my Camry ‘08
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. czcams.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat
I ordered my Dasaita for my 9th Gen Accord last week. I can’t wait to install mine! I’m even looking into upgrading the amp and subwoofer. I figure if I’m upgrading the head unit I can’t stop there lol. I love the way these Android stereos look as if they came with the vehicle. I used to install head units back in the day without harnesses. These Androids coming with harnesses is a god send. Appreciate the videos bro. Keep it up. I guarantee you if it wasn’t for you I probably wouldn’t have pulled the trigger on the Dasaita or any Android unit for that matter. I would’ve probably got another Pioneer or Kenwood or Sony.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Just installed another unit similar to this but followed all your steps here and it worked out. You are a true hero.
Awesome tutorial bro! I love your detailed explanation and doing everything in real time and not editing. Doing it step by step helped a lot
“She’s the boss” 😂😂, great video though! Getting a 2010 next month so I’m already looking into replacing this, so this video was perfect!!
Awesome job. Walked me right through it. Appreciate you!
Just received the same iDoing set, finish in an hour and half. Wrap up everything nicely!!!! Thank you for recommendation and tutorial. Keep up!
Did you add a rear view camera?
@@DarylWilliamsJr yes, I bought a one, run the cables. It works fine.
@@wonnie2610 thanks for the response! I'm really looking forward to updating my Camry.
can you please send me the link or website you purchased yours
how long did it take to ship?
another banger, KILLER video Bro!!!
Goat video! Doin this in a couple days! Thanks man!
Great tutorial man it made the process so much easier 💯💯🥇🥇
Great job, John. 👍
Awesome video bro! Very helpful.
I would like to see the tutorial on connecting the reverse camera. Can we use any camera for the rear that mounts in one of the license plate bulb holders or do we need to drill and install? Thanks.
It's easier to pry from the radio.. Awesome tutorial btw
Such detailed, simple for beginner and explained everything , you’re awesome!!
This is great! THANKS! I have questions. I have the 2011 low mileage so upgrading the head unit is smart! Want to tell you - you make it look SO easy - but all those plug ins and the linking the steering wheel to the panel when past me. This is one I will need to rewatch for sure! My son told me this was possible and here we are. This is reliant on our cell phone, so to use we would need it with us always? Is there any that also have a CD player with it or how would I upload my CD's to play in my car? All the other cords, how would someone unskilled like me make use of them? Also, how would protect my text messages etc with this?
I look forward to a new radio but since my emergency brake is broken this will be a fun project
NIce video i plan on doing this with my camry. did u install a rear camera
Thank you for using a camera mount to shoot. Its refreshing to see a video not shot by one hand.
I couldn't find much material on the Camry XLE which has the JBL radio. For anyone who having questions about JBL, make sure your Android comes with CANBUS built in or on the harness. If not you will have no audio because the factory amp will not power on. I spent many many hours trying to figure out my install, turns out the China Android was just too cheap to include the CANBUS with the harness.
@@wt5390 Hey WT, Just wanted to ask what you meant by making sure the Android comes with CANBUS built in or on the harness?
Thank you.
@@elizabethle1583 In this video his radio is not the JBL version. His radio doesn't have the JBL logo on the bottom left of the radio. If you're radio has the JBL logo, you'll need a different harness than the one in this video.

Refer to my posting #11 and #12. If your radio is JBL, that page will save you a lot of trouble installing an Android radio.
@@wt5390 Thank you very much.
@@wt5390 would this be true for a CarPlay install as well if you have the JBL? Volume wheel and Bluetooth are on the fritz. Time for new life! Thank you for the assist and to the creator for this video!
Nice NSX!
My steering wheel has hands free calling. Can you program that to work on this unit? Can you use your old mic?
Perfect video
It is an amazing product
Beautiful
You might be able to reinstall the 2 metal mounting side plates- my unit had 2 holes that lined up with the plates and 2 more holes that lined up in the middle of huge cutouts in the side plates- had to use fender washers there. If you have the JBL amp, they sell an adapter that sends a data signal to turn on the amp when the radio is on, if it senses power is on, the adapter generates the data code signal needed to turn on the JBL amp. Unfortunately, having the JBL amp and the new radio doesn't allow for front/back volume adjustment, so I chose to have the amp connected to the front left/right speakers and then wired the back left/ right speakers directly to the radio back left/right connections to allow front/back volume adjustment.
Hi, @jmcbike The head unit of my Camry has the navigator and JBL system. Would you happen to know where I can get the adapter you mentioned above? Thanks.
How reliable are these units and are they covered with a warranty?
Do you prefer this over the Dasaita unit?
How is this radio holding up? Awesome tutorial. Does this fit the Solara 07?’?
John,
Great video. Can you recommend system for a 2006 Toyota Solara SE 4cyl?
Are you able to still change vehicle settings like the factory radio?
Good job mate, does it have a satnav built in?
im in australia, sucks you guys never got our version of this camry. we call it the Toyota Aurion TRD. it came with a 3.5L supercharged engine.
Will this work with the Hybrid models for those aforementioned years? Thank you.
is there a way to upgrade if you have the jbl navigation one? you said theres issues? is it still possible? any videos on it?
What problems will you have with the JBL models, will the idoing work with it?
Quick question, where did you route the extra microphone I don't think I saw it in the video
You should do a Buick Regal next
I would love to know if reverse dynamic trajectory lines worked on this Camry installation. I'm just wondering if the canbus integration with older 2006-2011 Toyota Camry's allows for this.
Did you need a canbus decoder? My buddy try twice, but no sound. We ordered the canbus as I read some need it.
What kind of stereo system is the replacement? Can you put a link where we can buy online. Thanks
Does the clock still work on the dash?
is there one for 05 corolla ? or any recommendations
Do you know if Sony ax5500 or ax5600 will fit? I got Camry 2007 AVC40. Thank you!
I love this video and would love to do this to my car. The link you have posted, that device is $500. Maybe it’s because I’m in Canada? Anyone know if any cheaper options with apple car play???
hey bro is gps is with this led or you buy it and all other stuff that you add in it like usb and other
Does Apple CarPlay automatically start after you set it up that one time? I really wanna install Apple CarPlay in my 2011 Toyota Camry XLE and I’m looking for the right option any recommendations?
Where can i order one of this touch screen stereos for my 2009 Toyota camry??? Help please
I have a Camry 2012 with the alloy wheels. V6. Do you think this model will work?
Would this work on a solara since they are basically the same thing?
Nice job, so Toyota car radio is going away and you use apple CarPlay for music?
Does this include video input for a rearview camera?
Can you still adjust the audio settings like bass, using the android head unit.
Is there something for the Toyota Corolla Im all the ones they recommend are for the Corolla not for the iM
I had a similar radio everything was great and it except for the radio signal local station was awful radio station that was 30 mi away wasn't able to be received. I went to an Alpine because of that. How is this radio reception?
Where do you put the mic at
Gottta put it in neutral to remove it
Use parking breaks and wheel chocks to remove the dash easy
how did he connect iphone (CarPlay)? by just bluetooth or with WIFI?
Man how do we remove the ac section above the radio..mine cracked at different spots and I wanted to replace that from a scrap yard.. but it's not easy to pull without breaking it even more.
Kinda late to the party, but could you post an updated link to this exact head unit?
Thx man. I love your videos. Great stuff. I'm watching from Germany. Could you please find a Head Unit with Wireless Android Auto and a great Interface? I want to put it in my Toyota Aygo 2011. Thx! 🤙
right now dasaita is the only brand that has the bluetooth that can support wireless android auto

Hey I’m upgrading my sound system on my car just the front woofer and tweeters and wanted to know if you would say the audio has been increased by changing the head unit?
i would like to know also
How is the sound quality with after market speakers
Thanks to your great video, I just installed a new unit bought from Amazon on my 2009 Camry. Everything is fine except one major issue: The radio stops working once CarPlay voice comes up. I could go to radio screen and select another channel to get radio sound back but it stops again when CarPlay voice comes. Anybody is aware of this problem and has a fix?
JohnNguyen hey do they sell this for the se Camry I have the wood grain interior
Are there any head units for Kia stinger?
Is it possible for you to make a video with the JBL process? I have that car and I’d love to see if it will work before I invest my money! I know others are looking for a video with the JBL instillation too!
Check out my post 11 and 12. With the correct harness the process is exactly the same as this video.

@@wt5390 Hey WT. I got the same radio, and it came with the proper Jbl canbus but when I hook it up I still had no audio. The person I got it from said I have to connect the pink wire that is on the canbus to the car amp. Do you happen to know what he’s talking about? I’m so confused. Lol!
@@tobeyfabila5082 Its been awhile since I did the install, I can't remember. Is there even any loose wires from the canbus? If I remember correctly, the harness can be completely installed without the canbus (which is what I did first). The I purchased the canbus and plug it in and I got audio. The only other thing I would suggest is look at the radio manual and make sure all the pins are in the right place. Freaking China quality control. Feel free to message me privately, I can try to help you through email. I feel your pain, when I installed my radio it was a straight pain--researching toyota radio diagrams comparing it to the radio manual.

Hopefully that links to a JBL radio diagram. That one is the most accurate to a camry jbl radio I found. Make sure your radio pins from the harness actually matches the pins on your car connectors. I think for your situation, maybe pin 13 is what youre interested in.
@@wt5390 wow thank you so much! What’s your email? I’ll show you what the guy said.
@@tobeyfabila5082 I found the old harness. The canbus connector has 5 wires. 4 cluster together (positive, negative, left output, right output) and 1 wire towards the middle by itself (remote). I assuming they're telling you to make that wire connected to the remote, sometimes called amp or power antenna (usually blue not pink though), that will power on the canbus. That's my best guess. Good Luck
On the link for the Unit its asks the question with JBL or without JBL can you explain what this means, thank you great video, very informative
When I bought my Camry 10 years ago I had the option of JBL system or stock. Assuming this is what it refers to

Can you please do a video on a backup camera for the same years Camry that are compatible with the Dasaita head unit you installed a while back I don’t wanna be taking my head unit in and out
