- Wine Fridge Review (continued). A lot of you have been asking me about the status of my wine fridge lately. It's been over 1 year since I bought my Wine Enthusiast VinoView 36-Bottle Wine Fridge from Costco. And to be honest, I sent it back and got a replacement fridge free-of-charge.
I'm crossing my fingers that this issue doesn't happen again. But overall I have been happy with my new wine fridge.
Time will tell!

Your first video on this made me get one (I got 34 bottle Frigidaire - compressor is quiet). One thing I learned is that you should double your estimate of capacity needed. Before I knew it, mine became full, and I’ve got bottles lying around again.

It's a tough decision, trying to pick a wine fridge. A lot of them can't be in unheated areas (like many garages) if the temperature goes too low, so putting the fridge in the interior of the house is pretty common, I think. I ended up putting mine away from the living area, and now it's a big ol' box, dominating a small room. :) I did opt for more storage from the get-go. It's more expensive, yes, but I knew I'd run out of space quickly otherwise, and I'm glad I made that choice (Liebherr Vinothek, by the way).
It makes the buzzing noise when you first plug it in or when you unplug to defrost and clean. Why would you send it back a year later?!
Okay I thought it was just my area (Canada) that jacked wine fridge prices 😳
I have a 12 bottle wine enthusiast, and after two years it went down to 40° and it will never go back up. I just don’t get it.

Take those bottles off the wine cooler. Do not put anything on the wine cooler.
Wait up. I have to add another comment. You shouldn't be turning the frig on for about 24 hrs after letting it rest. Smh

The cracking is because it is defrosting! Obviously when you first got it there was minimal ice buildup however as more time goes by the buildup will increase, especially if you are opening the door more often! This is normal, so eventually the new one will do the same! People like you are the reason Costco discontinued this product because they were losing their marginal profit margin exchanging non defective product!
Just put the wine in your fridge 30 minutes before you are goimg to drink it. Your welcome
