In this video, Renos demonstrates how to fix a wine fridge that is no longer cooling.
He started by explaining the circumstances under which the wine cooler stopped working, and then he demonstrates the sounds that the wine fridge was making.
Afterwards he turns the wine fridge around and removes the part that we will be replacing. He showcases proper technique and care when removing the refrigerator component, and then compares the new part to the old one, and then he installs the replacement part.

I just came across this video and was wondering if this part could fix my wine cooler. Currently, when I plug it in, it beeps and none of the lcds turn on but the fridge still cools please help if you can thanks

My wine fridge was not working, I called a appliance service and they would charge me 450 bucks, however they said that it would better I scrapped mine and buy a new one, so searching in CZcams I found your video. I bought the relay, changed and my fridge is back working. Amazing, even a appliance service was not willing to repair. Such a shame.

I'm not a super handy guy, but Renos video helped me fix my expensive wine fridge for $10, as advertised. The clicking sound was the confirmation that I was on the right road. When I removed the ceramic disk, it was obviously broken. Fridge is running great and staying cold. Thanks!

THANK YOU! This super easy fix cost me less than $5 having bought the part on Amazon. Not only did is cheaply solution fix a near $400 wine cooler, but it saved me the hassle and costs of disposal and repurchasing. It's almost criminal to have thrown out this wine cooler, as was recommended from several repair shops because in their estimate, the repair costs would have exceeded the value of the unit. Hi, did you see an error code in your Frigidaire wine fridge. I have one displaying an E6 error code and I’m not sure if it’s the same problem.
This video was amazing and so helpful and accurate. I replaced the resister within 15 minutes and the wine cooler started running again. Unfortunately, I am still having issues getting my Danby Silhouette 15" fridge to cool... Thumbs up for this video however... well done!

WOW! This probably is not addressing my Wine Enthusiast Cooler issue, but you do an EXCEPTIONAL job of showing and clearly explaining exactly what you're doing. You might try a puck light to bring more light into the unit--when needed. But great job! I just discovered my unit making a continual clicking sound, with the temperature reading just flashing. Motor is running and bottles are still cool. Hmmm?

Update: Got the new part and installed and now working. Cautionary note for others though. When I first installed it it seemed like it was working but it was turning on and then off about 30 seconds later. I took another look at the part and it looked like it was not all the way in. Pushed it in a bit harder which fully seated it which resolved the issue. Thanks again for your video.

I've got an edge star winefridge with the same symptoms. Found your video and pulled the relay the slide on grounding terminal to the relay was either corroded off or maybe there was repeated sparking in there. In any case, it appears to be where the problem is. Ordering the new part. Thank you for your super clear, spot-on, video!

TY! For $9 replacement part from Amazon problem fixed. 👍 and subscribed. I would say nxt time just shine a worklight or even Flashlight in there to show better, even if only for a small time so watchers can freeze it and look.
Also a tip to others: take mant flash pictures with your phone initially and b4 each step so you are confident when u get replacement part exactly how to instSheet.... just like the old pics is answer. I removed bad part and used tge model # to get new one easily. Thx again!!

I'm gonna give it a try. I have a new cooler that sit for a while till I had the house done. Finally opened it plugged in. Lights up. But I don't hear any noise that is turning on compressor or cooling. I can't return it or replace it since it sit months, will give a try to this fix hopefully will work. Don't wanna trash $700.

thank you I have a can fridge, It stopped working. after seeing your video I noticed that it had the same compressor. I just took it apart to look t the relays, they were slightly different and there are two of them. but after looking at them to get the part numbers I put it back together and just for the hell of it I plugged it back in. what do you know it started working. may be the relay was stuck. anyways thanks for the video, you saved me hundreds of dollars.
