We have 2 very tall trees that are dying across from the house absolutely covered in English Ivy. Called the City because if those trees fall they will take out power lines & damage homes, City told us "We don't do landscaping and only remove if trees are blocking right of way" even though these 2 are on City property.

With proper PPE's a 5" grinder with a thin cutoff wheel is much faster than any any reciprocating saw. For the homeowner a grinder/cutoff wheel is not the way.

This was terrific, thank you very much! Lowes just could not help me, they couldn't even tell me what the connections were called (which were too short). Now I know they're called 'shanks' I believe. Is two inches pretty standard for those these days? The old bathroom faucet I removed has significantly longer (3in) shanks. I wish I could have seen in where the pins are to get a better idea of how to push the relay in on those two pins on the compressor. I bought both the relay and the overload parts and took both off and I have them wired, but can't see how the overload part goes on before the relay goes on the other two pins.

The reason why this didn’t work for you is that lime wash should never be put on with a sprayer. It’s meant to be put put on the brush and it’s meant to be put on thick then rinsed off.

That's what happened with the 1st heavy mirror that I mounted. Cracked it. But I was able to save it with some decorative art painted on it. Now it's taken me 3 months to work up the nerve to do another heavy mirror in the next room! 😲

I noticed some of you are saying that he provides no demo. He does show the tool in action in another video on his channel. The demo is very informative and gives you and idea what your getting into. He also gives great tips on optimally using the tool.

Your video was very useful as I needed to remove Travertine tile from kitchen floor for renovation. Like you experienced with the bolts coming loose on the scraper I had the same problem. I took the Makita demo hammer and the scrapper back to HD tool rentals and told them the bolts kept loosing and I thought the unit was defective. But the store clerk said that its the heat and vibration that cause the bolts to loosen. I was skeptical about this issue until I heard you you address this issue. Thanks to you I am convinced that I really didn’t have a defective scraper. So back to HD next weekend to re-rent the Makita and scraper to finish the job. Now I know I’ll have to pause and check the bolts at regular intervals of work. I’ll be a regular subscriber to your excellent videos from here on out.
