Like Boulevard Homes and Jackson Park of course they rounded up all the Hidden Valley Kings some years back and that was good.

Charlotte use to be bad and I mean bad back in the early 2000 - 2010’s. I’ve been here for over 20yrs and have seen a dramatic change in the hood platform of the city. They closed Boulevard Homes and Jackson Park. Got rid of the Hidden Valley Kings gang etc. Coming from NYC S.Bronx to be exact and Jamaica Queens. Hood to me is 24/7 meaning not just unsafe when it gets dark it’s all day, sun up to sundown unsafe. Real hood has no concept of time it’s dark all the time. There are very few places in Charlotte like that. It’s actually a very nice city to live and raise a family.

I was at Charlotte a day ago visiting from Florida. There are areas that look nicer than others. But there are areas were locals say there are drive by shootings at night. But over all, Charlotte is really pretty everywhere you go and people are very nice and welcoming.

I was at Charlotte a day ago visiting from Florida. There are areas that look nicer than others. But there are areas were locals say there are drive by shootings at night. But over all, Charlotte is really pretty everywhere you go and people are very nice and welcoming.
True, we just have to remember there's crime anywhere and everywhere across the country. I live near Charlotte and it's nice

Charlotte is not even dangerous compared to other cities. I'm originally from Detroit and lived in Charlotte for 10 yrs, and there's not a place in Charlotte I wouldn't go at anytime or the day or night. Charlotte is like a big country town.

I live in Charlotte and this is the Plaza area. It may look rough to someone not from here but it's actually a nice part of the city! Very strong community and really nice stores, it's actually close to a bar that Mick Jagger went to when the Rolling Stones stopped by here!
