    It's a Swatch Chrono movement, so for the price of a Swatch you have a watch you can repair in case of, not too bad, and the black color is pretty cool and fashion.

    Thanks for the review, as I’m interested in the new MK1’s. How is the lume and / or Indiglo? It looks like this model might have both, however since you didn’t mention it or provide a lume shot, I’m still wondering. Can you provide any additional info about this?

    I love the Timex brand and wish they'd run a line with nicer appointments than just cheapos, say the just-sub-$200 area.

    Where is this exact model with the leather and black buttons? I'm not finding it through the model number you posted. There is a black one, but it has silver buttons

    Timex had pretty good watches in the 90s but lately they’re made cheap and their new designs I don’t like I wish they would keep the 90s designs like Casio is doing with their Gshocks

    Nice watch. 42mm, alas... I do not ask brands to stop making big watches. What I would like is them to make two versions: something less or equal 40mm, the other bigger than 40mm. Someone like me, with small wrist always find a really nice watch but then since it is 42, 43 and so one, it does not look well. It simple does not. it is like a clothing brand offering just a large size-fit-all suit.

      Funny, I was just wishing they made them 43-45mm. They should make a range of sizes.

      Timex sells the Mk1 Chrono in a 40mm. I have one and it's great!

  • @salty_terminal_civilian5374

    150 dollars is a good amount of money and you could buy an automatic at that price point lol... even quartz you could get a victorinox inox on sale or a watch that isn't cheaply made

      I actually think it is a great design choice. Makes it look vintage, there are a million cheap watches out there with mineral crystal

    • @user-bo8yt4uc8b
      @user-bo8yt4uc8b Před 6 lety +1

      mr bacchus I’m not interested in mineral crystals. I’d like to have a black 42mm beater with sapphire. There’s this one beautiful Hamilton, but it’s ruined with a ugly Titanium text on the side of the case.

    • @mrbacchus6127
      @mrbacchus6127 Před 6 lety +1

      @@user-bo8yt4uc8b yes I agree with you about the Hamilton. Unfortunately I've never seen Timex fo sapphire.

      @Kay_Hizzle Před 5 lety +3

      You can polish out scratches easily with acrylic.
      You can't do this with Mineral or Sapphire.
      It seems counterintuitive but I personally think acrylic is the superior material for watches.
      Just my opinion though!
